Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely hotel, obviously winding down for winter, but very clean, Having stayed at the hotel behind this one, I can honestly say this hotel is 1000% better. The rooms are a great size with everything that's needed. The staff are helpful and polite.

We booked a really expensive pack (Pack Romantic VIP), that offers unlimited SPA among other things. A complete section of the SPA was not working, and the SPA was really crowded. The following day we could not enjoy the SPA because they were fixing the issue. But no one advised us that we could not enjoy the full experience, although we spent 260e for just one night. It was our anniversary and we are still disappointed. They gave us 2 tickets for the SPA to be used in the future, but I still think it was too expensive for the experience we had.

I arrived at the hotel at 11.20am and wasn’t actually expecting my room to be ready that early, but to my surprise it was. The female receptionist was so kind and friendly. I explained that I was severely sight impaired and she took the time to show me where everything was. She also arranged for another staff member to help me find my room. The room was lovely. Very comfy bed, soft pillows and bathrobes and slippers. The bathroom was huge with two different shower heads and a large Jacuzzi bath. The balcony was also huge with sun beds and lounge chairs. The restaurant and staff were also very friendly and helpful, and there was lots of choice with main. Courses cooked fresh in front of you. There were two outdoor lagoon style pools, with Various water jets, in pool jacuzzi beds, two slides and a separate jacuzzi. The indoor pool was amazing and very unique in its design. There were various different types of jacuzzis, water jets, jacuzzi beds, experience showers, sauna and a steam room. It was brilliant. I also the Spa and had the ‘Queen of Egypt Ritual’ which was truly amazing. I’ve been to many spa’s, but this was a whole new level of fabulous. I would highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely be returning.

So .... Room: lovely Bed: hard and a little short on pillows Sea View Room: more of a side sea view room Cleaning: very good Breakfast: excellent Pool: very nice Sunrise: lovely Actual view: a huge industrial gas terminal and port with tankers lining the horizon. In general: all quite nice ... but location - not so much so Bar: didn't open Garden restaurant: didn't open Reception: adequate, slow, under-staffed Evening entertainment: didn't happen ... but you've got the bands and karaoke blaring out really loud from the hotel opposite and beach side to keep you entertained until 11.59pm. Such a blessing Adjoining Cocktail bar next door: quite understated, uninviting, bland - empty. I'm an events promoter, I know about these things. Local amenities: typical low brow strip fare Would we go again? Nope Recommendations: spend better and go to Cambrils down the coast. Conclusion: not what was sold in the brochure ... and certainly not what we paid for.

Housekeeping is terrible. They clean the late, remove bathrobes, and even tv remote goes missing. The bar does not have the brand I drink and tried to cheat me with switching ligure with the brand I drink, which is really cheap for a 5 star, and when I asked them if I can bring my own and charge for corkage they refused

Labeling the hotel 5 star sets it up for failure unfortunately. Whilst our room was great (duplex, so our daughter had her own space) and the outside space by the pools was attractive, overall the service did not meet our expectations. It took 20 minutes to check in without any warm welcome. We enjoyed the spa facilities although they need a complete overhaul with several rusty pipes on display & screws sticking up in the sauna. We were shocked that as hotel guests we had only 1 towel each to use & if we wanted to change it, it would have cost €10. We had to buy pool hats which again as hotel guests should have been included. We ate well on the first night, but after that there was less food on offer with no variety. The lobby bar was a high point; great food & excellent service. We travelled slightly out of season so the Moss Market wasn’t open & the pool bar didn’t serve food, fair enough if there were insufficient guests. All in all, the hotel cost a lot of money and it wasn’t worth it.

Worst ever hotel, 5* prices for at the most 2* service/rooms Arrived around 12 noon, room not ready was told to come back at 3 as thats check in time, we had no information on thus from either the hotel info or jet2 Room info on the hotel page is wrong, according to the reception staff this is the agent that posts this, we had booked a family room with sea view and balcony, this included what was listed in the first picture, nope didnt get that and rooms with separate bath and shower doesnt exist reception staff told us. Room was awful had to make complaint to get moved and guess what a room with separate bath and shower does exist, this was better than the first but def nowhere near 5* Couldnt eat in the hotel at lunch as no english menu, buffet dinner was what i would have expected at a 2* ended up having to eat out a lot, lifts had a mind of their own, absolute nightmare. Hotel Towels stolen from sun beds at pool, and you have to pay 15 euros for each towel you hand back, had to have someone with the beds at all times after that. Have posted a couple of pictures of the rooms, very little privacy in the family rooms, especially when you have a 12 year old grandchild with you So glad we had only booked for 4 nights as def would have been contacting Jet2 to be moved if we had booked for any longer I know the hotel will respond with “sorry you didn't enjoy your stay” well do something about the information on the hotel page and actually care about your customers and no would never use this hotel or recommend it to anyone

The staff members are amazing , service is on top! However, my stay was “a little”screwed up. I’ve came here with my family to celebrate my 6 y.o daughter’s birthday and on the first day of celebration we came to the spa and we were kicked out after 30 minutes of swimming because of the rule “ no kids after 6:30pm ”!!!. I would be more tolerant about this If it was stated somewhere before I got in the spa, but there was no info about it. Neither in my booking nor at the reception of the hotel. My daughter was disappointed and left crying , because the whole trip was about going in the spa… So my honest advice would be : make the hotel 18+ if you don’t want kids here… Everybody who were kicked out from the spa also with us , I meant other families , were also in shock because they were not aware about this new rule as well. It’s nonsense . Next time make sure , that your clients at least aware about new conditions before booking a trip . You guys are loosing clients…

5 star Hotel. No staff, pool bar closed, no snacks available throughout the day. No pool attendance by any staff . Not a 5 star experience. The staff that do work there are very pleasant but just not enough of them. Equally the hotel itself is lovely and the breakfast and buffet dinner is really good. No management visible throughout the stay.
