My wife and I booked this hotel less than a week before we arrived, we wanted a week of relaxing and to be able to soak up some winter sunshine. Our main criteria for picking this hotel and the Island were the 10 day weather forecast, the star rating of the hotel, proximity to the airport and that it had a sea view and a balcony. We booked online through TUI but what we didn't know until we arrived at the reception was that the TUI holiday that we had picked included an upgrade to the My Favourites club. I think this made all the difference to our holiday with access to the MFC lounge, sun deck, separate seating in the buffet restaurant and a generously sized hotel room, all helping towards our relaxing experience. We thought the hotel was in a good location, well maintained, modern and that the staff were very good. As for the food? I think the subject of food is very emotive because what one person thought was lovely another might think as awful. We experienced this in the buffet restaurant, some guests were eating like it was their last day on earth and wanted to taste everything all at once, returning two, three, four times back to the food counter to try many different types of food. But then we talked to another guest who thought that the food was inedible and had to eat out every night, for our part we thought the food on offer was on par with other all inclusive hotels of the same star rating that we have stayed at on the Spanish Islands. We could always find something that we liked but to be honest we found the buffet style of dining tiring and preferred the table service that other restaurants offer. Would we stay at the Alantico Golf again at this time of the year? Yes, most definitely, especially if we could stay in the same room and have the MFC benefits at a similar price to what we paid this year however we might eat out at a table service restaurant in the evening more often. So thank you TUI and thank you Lois Castilla for a relaxing and enjoyable week. P.S. The weather forecast was the most disappointing part of the week, we managed to sunbathe for at least a couple of hours each day apart from one where it was cloudy all day. The 10 day weather forecast promised sunshine all day for 5 of the 7 days we were there, but at least it was warmer than the UK. I hope this review helps other like minded travellers. …

Lovely hotel which is spotlessly clean and spacious. The rooms are modern, the beds and pillows are really comfortable. The hotel is big which meant that you didn’t hear other guests and there was plenty of rooms around the pools. Service at the bars and restaurants was very good. There is a free shuttle bus from the hotel to Los Christianos or Las Americas. The food was absolutely fine. We were only there for 4 days and enjoyed what was on offer. Maybe if we’d stayed longer we may have opted to eat out for a change. There are some bars and shops nearby but generally it’s a quiet resort. Services include towel and iron hire. Evening entertainment, water activities and children’s entertainment also available. Overall a really lovely place to spend a quiet break. Would definitely go back. …

I was quite worried after reading reviews but needn’t have been. Reception was very friendly and helpful at check in and room was lovely. Clean, modern and spacious. Restaurant food was plentiful, with lots of choice and always hot when we went. Bar queues not much different from other hotels and all staff were very polite. I found it excellent value for money and would happily return with the family

Lovely hotel with fabulous Seaview rooms. Great pool areas to suit everyone. WiFi needs improvement. Entertainment was as expected but location area for it was not suitable as very difficult to view it due to the many pillars obstructing it. Everything else was very good.

Cheap food, cheap drink, Not clean, paid all exclusive - stayed bed and breakfast. I have never stayed anywhere so bad. Thought with it being a Spanish island and owned by an American company that the quality would be of a reasonable standard. Definitely choose H10 over Hyatt on future

I've stayed at some great resorts over the years, including dreams and secrets resorts. This wasn't far off despite the reasonable price point. If you want amazing a la carte foodie experiences it probably isn't for you but if you want an all round enjoyable break on a budget I can highly recommend. Dunno what all the other fussy reviews are about, I really don't think they are deserved. This was terrific value overall!

It was a lovely place for holiday. Me and my friends loved walking around the hotel creating memories. The food was really nice in the hotel and drink were alright. It would have been even better if all the drinks were included. The drinks included was not too bad but the place was really lovely for walks and the weather was perfect for cold European weather.

Overall we had a good stay, reception were very good, as was the room. Air conditioning with heat was hit and miss, although the room was of a good standard, marks on the walls and no milk with tea and coffee making was just a lack of attention to detail. Food was standard all inclusive, which was OK, although all dishes were only warm. Pool bar service was just pushing drinks out, lacking in fitness. We did have a good stay, and did not complain as it was OK, but did expect a higher standard, in particular as the hotel is a Hyatt hotel. Would we go back, yes!

Great staff very helpful, great room, large food choice. Good entertainment. The hotel has a great relaxed atmosphere. The all inclusive option was perfect for us and we loved the buffet food. Will defiantly be coming back.
