Stayed here about 7 years ago, and came again as it's a great base with all the rooms having a sea view. We were bumped up to one of the suits (701) which looks out over to Los Abrigos. Check in was fast and were told to use the wifi you just enter passport No it would connect, which it did and worked all over the hotel and out on sun deck, also it was free. We stayed on B & B basis and breakfast was good with lots of choice, I don't think the all inclusive option is worth it as the hotel isn't set up for it, ie small bar, no night time entertainment or a la carte restaurants, plus it's getting tired. There's plenty of bars and restaurants in the square which cater for all tastes. There is some building work going on outside the hotel building a new footpath and bridge. Our room looked straight over it and it never bothered us, but there were only 2 guys working and lets face it how much noise could they make, it wouldn't effect or spoil your stay round the pool.

This was the second time we stayed at this hotel. Check-in was quick and efficient. We were given a free upgrade to a Studio room which was nice and we also received a free bottle of fizz in the room. The food was varied and fresh and we can definitely recommend the omelettes for breakfast. The staff are always on the go and busy so there may be a wait at the bar for drinks. Be aware that if you want branded drinks, even if you are on the All Inclusive package, there will be a charge. There is a Supermarket across the street as well as numerous restaurants and bars. We will stay here again.

Myself and a fried stayed here for 4 nights and can't really fault it! Super easy check in completed within minutes of arriving, beautiful lobby area and sparkling clean all over the hotel. The room we had had 2 rooms with a huge balcony overlooking the sea and the neighbouring village. The staff are really friendly and helpfull and smiling even tho they were always busy. Our towels in the room were replenished every day as wet toilet rolls and complimentary soaps and shower gels. Our beds were made everyday and the rooms cleaned to a lovely standard. The pool area is spacious and has the sun all day, albeit it's a little windy. The food offerings for breakfast lunch and tea were plentiful and there was a great choice to suit everyone! The puds are amazing so make sure you save some room! The bar was small but had enough choice (we were all inclusive) so it was all house spirits and even a few cocktails to choose from, if you wanted a premium drink it's charged to you room and they were half price as we were all Inc. The one thing i would suggest to make the bar area a little more inviting of an evening would be some music and some more seating. We went to the local village 2 mins walk some evening where you could get a pint for €2.50 if you fancied a little more of a bar feel. I would definitely stay here again!

We had booked a standard double but were upgraded to a room with a sea view and a balcony which was nice. Can't believe someone could complain about the noise from the sea!!! I loved it.
Room was bashed about a bit, which most hotels are in Tenerife, but it was kept very clean and the linen changed every three days.
It is a very quiet hotel, used largely by golfers, and there is not much to do apart from relax. It is in a wonderful position. There is no English TV if the weather is bad. Note to hotel CNN is not English TV.
The Spa is un usable really, no steam room and the sauna was cold but we weren't charged so can't moan apart from the waste of time.
Food is cheap and stodgy, not a lot of veg but is of a poor quality. Sorry, but it is. It did let the stay down a bit.
Staff were very nice and very courteous and hotel is modern and clean but more for people who want to relax and like peace and quiet.

This hotel is very close to the Airport, with a transfer of around 20 mins. Check in was fast with no problems at all. Rooms very large, mini fridge in room, however extra charge for having any thing from it. The bar serves from 11-11 which can be a pain if you’re an early riser and can seem a long time to wait after you have finished breakfast. The food is average at best, food never hot, slightly warm at best, not much selection at all. The beer is very good, Reina, (local beer) and all spirits local brands, although they aren’t bad at all. Not much entertainment at this hotel, although we did have a bingo night which was very fun and entertaining and everyone seemed to enjoy it, the girl who ran the bingo was superb.
Hotel is situated near the golf courses, and there are a few bars and restaurants 100 yards up the road which serve good food and drinks, however there isn’t much around the hotel other than those bars and a small fishing village around a 15 minute walk away.
The staff on lobby are always very helpful for taxis, bus times and in general any queries which you might have or need help with.
However, one massive issue, they were doing some sort of work outside the building I’m not sure what for, however if you’re thinking of a nice relaxing morning in bed or an afternoon nap forget it. This drilling starts around 8am and continues nearly all day. I understand that maintenance needs to be some things to be improved etc however this is just relentless.
This hotel in general is more 3* than 4* could certainly do with a bit of a refurb and a few things improved like the food and other things.
Overall the hotel is fine if you aren’t expecting it to be something it isn’t.

We wanted a quick fairly cheap getaway, and to be fair that’s what we got! Paid for a superior seaview room, got upgraded to a suite, which was exciting when we were told at reception but the reality is, it was a partial seaview in a dated suite. Still, the positives were that the room was spacious, appeared clean (and was cleaned regularly to a good standard every day).

Positives

the location is spot on. We already want to return to the area just for the views and access to great bars and restaurants. This hotel is nicely located between two coastal areas which offer lovely bars and restaurants (marina one side, fishing village the other and a great selection within minutes of the hotel. We enjoyed doing the coastal walk each side in the evening!

Negatives

small pool area: not enough beds. Unfortunately it’s one of those hotels where if you want a bed by the pool you’d need to be getting beds by 9. Luckily there is a roof top section which was less popular that we preferred to sit at each day as it was less claustrophobic feeling and much quieter! It’s true that the cushions for the loungers need a good wash, however if you’re putting your towels over them it doesn’t really matter in my opinion and you get clean towels each day.

Food: thank god we read the reviews before we left and didn’t do all inclusive! We were B&B, and we ate the breakfast once…never again! Food was awful, and comments about cleanliness and (some!) staff rudeness is true. We ate our breakfast at Hattie’s across the road every day after that which was excellent!!

General ambience/entertainment- obviously we went out every night and enjoyed the plentiful bars and restaurants. The bar area is small and kind of tagged onto the reception area making it feel really scattered. We saw one singer on our first night when we did stay for a drink. Everyone sat around drinking looks a little sad! The whole area is severely lacking in atmosphere and we commented we’d be really unhappy if we’d paid for all inclusive. A couple of times we witnessed queues out the door for the buffet food. No thanks!

Kids - no of course this is not really a hotel for kids. Luckily we’ve already taken our kids away elsewhere & this was a quick 6 night trip just the 2 of us but I’d never bring them here. Small pool and they’d be bored every day after an hour or so!

We will return to the area…but not the hotel! Some residents we spoke to refer to this hotel as faulty towers or house of horrors and they aren’t far wrong! However if you aren’t AI and like being out of the hotel as much as possible, this is absolutely fine!

Responded 5 Sept 2022
Dear Kelly, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We would like to thank you for choosing to stay with us and are glad that the high standards we set ourselves met your expectations. However, we are sorry to hear that our breakfast was not to your satisfaction; we will be reviewing your feedback with our chef and restaurant manager. Nevertheless, we can assure you that we follow an official programme and have regular local sanitary inspections by the health and safety body. Moreover, it is with regret we learn that you were surprised by the size of our pool area and have noted your remarks regarding our sunbeds for future consideration. We have taken good note of your insight regarding our bar and will take this along with your other comments into consideration for any future improvements. We are glad you were able to make the most of the plentiful bars and restaurants in the local area nevertheless. We look forward to welcoming you again. Kind regards, General Manager Hotel Vincci Tenerife Golf 4*

Visited this hotel August this year and can say this hotel is not as good as it looks. Although it says 2 pools, the main pool wasn’t so big and the second pool is a kiddy pool. We were unable to use the spa as it was closed for maintenance and they only had one person working to do any of the spa treatments! The staff at reception seemed reserved and weren’t very helpful or informative with offering alternative suggestions. For example when asked if any other spas in the area they could recommended the answer was simply ‘no.’ Same with when booking excursions, you’re better to go to the place yourself and book there rather than through the hotel- a lot cheaper as well! And they failed to tell us you need masks for any excursions.

We had a half board package (does NOT include drinks) You have to buy your drinks when eating in the restaurant- they wouldn’t even allow us to order tap water and failed to notify us we can’t take our own bottle of water in the restaurant. One of the bar staff took our bottles off us and we had to collect them at the end of dinner service- frankly quite poor customer service. Food was standard buffet food, but the restaurant staff were a lot more friendlier. They do not cater to halal food.

The rooms were quite outdated and gloomy (no proper room lights, just lamps in the bedrooms) and not as they seem in the pictures, but the balcony views were amazing (especially if it is of the ocean!) There’s a rock beach right outside the hotel with a path you can take for a nice walk. Also there are many restaurants within walking distance though and a supermarket. The location of this hotel is literally one for where you go to do is absolutely nothing but sun bathe and relax. Wouldn’t recommend for those that are seeking to have an active holiday.

We stayed here from 25th Jan to 1st Feb for some much needed relaxation time.
We had a superb room on the 8th floor which had lovely views towards Los Abrigos, and which was in prime position to see the beautiful sunrise each morning, whilst listening to the sound of the sea which was fantastic.
The food was fresh and delicious, plenty of choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Some of the food could have done with being a bit hotter, but there was a microwave if you wanted to warm anything up. The staff in the restaurant work really hard and are very pleasant and chatty.
Drinks are served to you with your meal on request and are available from the bar just outside the restaurant. The drinks were all nice. I drank the white wine and my husband drank the beer, both of which were both decent drinks.
Coffee is also available from the bar area and is much nicer than the coffee at breakfast.
The pool area is lovely and a prime spot for topping up the tan, but the pool is freezing. I'm sure that would be welcomed in the height of the summer, but in January it could really do with being heated and it would get more use.
We also had a massage in the spa, which well worth the money.
It's a very quiet hotel, and there isn't much in the way of entertainment, so it wouldn't be the place to go if you wanted a lively holiday, but for a quiet chilled holiday which is what we wanted, it suited us perfectly. It's not an adults only hotel, but it's not really set up for children. There are some shops, bars and restaurants over the road from the hotel if you wanted to eat or drink somewhere different.
All the staff that we met were very friendly and happy to help.
We had a great time, and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

As a couple we really enjoyed our stay at Golf del Sur's Vincci Hotel. Near enough to the airport to see and hear planes but this did not disturb our tranquil holiday in any way. We stayed bed and breakfast because we like to eat out locally in the evening, but we found that the hotel provided a wide variety of buffet evening meals so we ended up up alternating between the hotel and eating locally. The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely large balcony overlooking the sea. Breakfast had something for everyone, so we were set up for the day. We reported a fault in the bathroom and it was fixed very quickly. The hotel lobby is a lovely place to sit and read or enjoy a drink. It's probably more suitable for couples than families. We loved the fact there were people from a number of different countries but no one in big groups. We'd go back. It was lovely.

This hotel is perfect for a quiet holiday. No razzamatazz but all one needs to just enjoy the atmosphere and excellent views with the sound of the sea. We had a wonderful time. The staff are friendly, welcoming and efficient. The receptionists were extremely understanding when flights were cancelled and accommodated us without fuss. We had fresh linen and towels almost daily. The balconies are huge and there is a small fridge in each room. We were half board and thoroughly enjoyed the variety of fresh and cooked food. The lifeguard was helpful and diligent. Great walks, a bus nearby and easy to park in San Blas. Eventually I think there will need to be some updating such as more sockets in rooms as even we oldies have devices for the techno age! Lovely memories and looking forward to our next visit.
