This is our 3rd time coming back to this resort. First off we LOVE the people that work here, they're all so accommodating, nice and very fun. We used to scuba dive but after 30 yrs. decided to just stick to the land. We still had a fun time here. We got massages, which are

Imagine: Awakening to the sound of birds and the ocean breeze billowing your curtains. You open your eyes and marvel at the meticulous thatching of the roof in your ocean front bungalow. Step outside and see a few other early risers taking in the spectacular sunrise. Settle

My gosh! Your word pictures are amazing, and you make ME not be able to wait to get back! We are so thrilled you got the magic of this little paradise on St George's Caye. We are blessed to be the current "stewards" of this amazing gift, and so happy to be able to share with others. We are looking forward to serving you again. Imagine, bring a couple dozen of your closest friends and you can have the whole resort to yourselves!

My wife and I stayed at the St George’s Caye Resort for 10 days in Feb 2019, and had a wonderful time. This island resort is small, and very comfortable, but the best part is you get a chance to meet, and chat with the other guests at almost every meal. The boat ride from

Although the staff was extremely professional and friendly, we found the resort to be lacking in upkeep. On the plus side, it’s a small resort and you get to know your neighbors. Meals were enjoyable. Everyone sat at one long table and you could choose who you want to sit next

Hello and thank you so much for your candid review. This is Tim, the owner of the resort and to start, I would love if we could connect by phone to talk about your concerns. My personal cell number is 507-380-9344. Please also feel free to reach out to tim@belizeislandparadise.com We are so glad that you saw the true passion in service from our team. That is one of the many variables at the resort that we strive to keep world class! We also find that people are truly surprised at how much they enjoy the family style dining and also enjoy the exclusivity and disconnection that our private island offers. We have been in business for over 25 years and one of our core values is to improve every day, so we again, appreciate your feelings and will continue to increase our level of excellence! Looking forward to hearing from you at your convenience. Sunny Regards, Tim

We had an amazing time at St George's Caye and I would highly recommend staying at this private paradise. The intimate setting was perfect for our family get together of 32 people. It was so relaxing to have the resort all to ourselves and to be far away from the crowds that are

I did, the first day we got there, but it was mucky bottom and bad visibility so i did not go in there again. Really the beach area is small but usable. We spent time just relaxing and swimming in the pool. Kayaking was awesome!!! Highly recommend spending time exploring all the islands across from the resort, and the cut through between the island was really cool!!! There is a great beach area by kayak, as Alvin, he will help you pack a lunch bag and you can spend all day there all alone! Have fun!!!

Although you can enter the water for swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, etc, from the overwater cabanas, there is also a groomed beach immedeately next to the over water cabanas. There is a birds eye view video on the website that shows exactly the nature of how the resort is situated on this little private island paradise. Hope this helps!

Hello Maddy! Sorry for the delay on this! They are both incredible experiences so it is really about preference. If you are a sunrise person, you can enjoy the sunrise from the Oceanfront cabana, if you are a sunset person, the best views are the Overwater cabana. You can see all of the pictures and lodging at our website (please email me for that apparently I can't attach that here :)) and be sure to check out our blog for more great, recent pictures. If you could please message us with the time frame in which you hope to travel. We specialize in customizing your stay from the time we pick you up at the airport to the time you say goodbye. :) Here is a little more about both lodging options! Overwater: Enjoy your private porch complete with individual hammock and thatched roof ambiance while overlooking the Caribbean Sea on the west side of our small island. These six cabanas are situated on a half-moon dock with incredible sunset views. They feature work-of-art Belizean hardwood ceilings in the bedroom area to keep you cool and comfortable. Includes private bath, air conditioning, and ceiling/floor fans. Sleeps 2-3 people (can be furnished with one king or two beds). Oceanfront: Located on the east side of the island, each of our four oceanfront cabanas has its own private porch from which you can take in the panoramic views of the ocean from your personal hammock. Wake up to greet the sunrise, or sleep in and enjoy the tranquility of your island experience. Each cabana features a gorgeous open thatch roof with natural flow-through ventilation and includes a private bath with hot and cold running water, air conditioning, and ceiling/floor fans. Sleeps 2-3 people (can be furnished with one or two beds). Hope to see you in paradise soon!

"Love the cabanas on the beach to have a constant breeze and we never use our A/C!"
"Overwater Cabana #1 - furthest away from the diesel genset, which makes some constant humming noise. Cab #1-6 face west, less windy side."
"Don’t book the bay side cabanas. You’ll hear the power generator. Go for the cabanas facing the Caribbean."
"The over water cabanas were great for these windy days. The ocean view cabanas would be wonderful during a less windy time."
"Room #1 over the water!"
