Tourtour calls itself the village at the top of the world and this auberge is even isolated from this by a few kilometers. But it is a good peaceful spot that begs you to come and relax. Quiet. Nice pool area. Lovely view. Pleasant well appointed room. Friendly staff and good food. Really a good place to chill out. Even...

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during our cycling trip, it was not that busy. We had a nice clean spacious room, with good views over the country side, we had dinner and breakfast during our stay, which was very nice. Tourtour is worth exploring, lots of lovely photos taken, then back to relax by the pool.

to begin, the people here are lovely. we only saw room 16 - an interconnecting room we thought appropriate as we travel with kids - but it was horrible. hot, dark, not external windows to tiny hot, dark bathroom and toilet (that had a cubby window onto the interior stair well). the decor was super tired and our bed had...

This property is set on a farm, and is about a 1.5 km walk from the village of Tourtour, so it is quite isolated. The room was very clean, reasonable spacious and had a nice view of trees and pastureland. Though somewhat rustic, but I thought the decor tasteful. The bed was comfortable. The receptionist provided a warm welcome when...

This hotel is set in a rural spot overlooking a meadow where you will see goats, horses and chickens roaming. It is lovely to sit on the balcony, extremely peaceful. Food is good, sometimes very good. Receptionist speaks good English and is helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Whether it was the end-of-season tristesse, the darkening evenings or the fact that guests were very few, this hotel seemed sad. Vast public rooms are filled with ill-assorted drollerie, mis-matched furniture and an odd collection of antique agricultural equipment but even all this scarecely fills the gloomy, uninhabited corners of this architectural agglomeration. On the other hand, bedrooms are large...

We stayed here for two nights as part of a cycling holiday. The hotel is in a lovely, peaceful location, and well furnished. We had a large and comfortable room which was spotlessly clean and had a small roof terrace. It could have done with a ceiling fan or air conditioning as it was very hot. Breakfast was fairly typical...

A group of classic car owners stayed here for 3 nights in September, When we arrived the afternoon sun was blazing into our lovely room facing the pool and countryside, we couldn't believe our luck. The large balcony enjoyed the setting sun and we enjoyed the pool. The staff were most helpful and attentive, the lovely Korean receptionist spoke good...

What a lovely hotel. We arrived after a day of cycling uphill in headwinds and high temperatures so headed straight for the pool. Don't be put off by the towels on the sun loungers as these are not reserved by other guests Benidorm style - they are provided by the hotel. This is a lovely touch and was very welcome....

This was a truly amazing hotel. A refurbished abbey which has retained some of its original features but has been modernised.
