Lovely place, in the process of being updated [slightly patchy, hence 4 not 5 stars]. The position is unparalleled with a wonderful panorama of hills of the Var. The hotel is quite a walk from the village, but this means it is beautifully quiet. Noisy only when people walk through the tiled floor corridors. Food was pretty good - we...

My stay there was rather uncomfortable. For the price I paid (Euro186 per night), I expected a lot more from a hotel. 1. Room is dated including the bathroom. Things are falling apart. It needs to be upgraded. You can tell it is a half hearted job by the owner to make it comfortable. 2. We were checked into the...

We spent two amazingly tranquil days in this idilic spot. We were greeted with smiles and very helpful young man showed us to our rooms. The views from the Auberge is like seeing famous paintings come to life. The restaurant on the terrace overlooking the valley and hills is a wonderful spot to enjoy the deicious evening dinner. All thr...

You will love this place! The panorama is absolutely breath taking and the staff (just as the owners) are really wonderful! Highly recommended! There's a plus to all this: you're an hour and a half from Saint tropez! You can take advantage of staying at a really peaceful and wonderful place far enough from all the fuzz! Thank you for...

We enjoyed two fabulous days here whilst on a Headwater bike holiday. The staff were amazing, nothing was too hard, despite our very limited French. The food was exceptional and the rooms very comfortable. The view is stunning and made the ride up the hill to Tourtour more than worth it! Highly recommended.

We booked to stay here for our last two nights in Provence in mid Sept based on the Trip Advisor reviews and weren't disappointed at all. We only wish we could have stayed longer. It has already been said in other reviews - this is a perfectly located retreat to relax and enjoy the amazing views, indulge in some absolutely...

All my review is in the title really. There is a short tennis/basketball court but it has really seen better days. The food is a set menu with no choices. Vegetarians can be catered for though. The food though was exceptional. The apple tart at the end in particular out of this world.

Situated high on a wooded hillside with fabulous views (40 miles or so), La Petite Auberge is about 500m from the arty hilltop Provencal village of Tourtour. The restaurant served great food (set menu), and it's served on a terrace with magnificent views over Provence. Nice pool. Tennis court if you can find the energy!.

A magical place to stay in every way. Set in the beautiful countryside just outside the charming village of Tourtour. The views over the valley are breathtaking, whether enjoyed from the pool or the dinning room terrace. My room was luxurious, the food excellent and the staff so friendly. I don't want to leave! I will return for the scent...

I have seldom visited a hotel where I can NOTHING to make adverse comments about, the staff, building, food, pool & grounds all faultless. The owner of this great place is also the 'Maire' of the delightful village of Tourtour, & as such is a mine of local information!! Oh, & the views....WOW!!
