Beautiful chateau in lovely grounds. The room was unique in the tower of the chateau with a circular bed. Restaurant was huge and attractive although I did not dine there. Staff were very professional and courteous.

The hotel looks nice athough it needed a bit of a touch up. We stayed in 5 at a two-room apartment in the attic, with one bathroom which could be better. It seems like the hotel is in need of a renovation as the sheets, carpets, bathroom, all looked a bit worn-out. The reception desk personnel doesn't speak English, which... More

To add a special treat on a visit to Futuroscope with our daughter and granddaughter we booked two nights at Perigny. Very pretty surroundings, we had a family suite in the tower. Very comfortable beds and plenty of hot water and fluffy towels in the bathroom; Wifi and TV of course; The restaurant for dinner in the evening is so... More

the rooms are old, very small. We had an appartement for 4....which in fact was 2 double bedrooms, next to eacht other.....old carpet on the floor, very small, still bedsheets and these old "sole mio" blankets, I guess this is not very hygienic either.....the cleaning ladies are very loud....talk and cleaning is done trough all day, so having a nap... We have stayed in many lovely chateaux in France over many years - all lovely, all with good or at least, reasonable service - but this is not one of them. The hotel is obviously struggling financially and is chronically understaffed. Obvious things like glass on the stairs, unswept floors and poorly maintained grounds just make a sorry picture. The pool... More

We stayed there for one night to use the present of smart box we had been given by friends. The setting and chateau are lovely and the restaurant superb, nothing to complain about the food delicious and the service excellent and very friendly. However the whole experience was spoilt by the outrageous price for drinks eg 14 euros for a... More

We had high hopes for this hotel, expensive (300 Euros fof dinner/bread/breakfast) and the house is lovely. However, although billed as a 3 star hotel, service was poor. At dinner we had to fetch and pour our own wine as the staff all disappeared, and at breakfast we swa no one at all. Cofee was ina flask and not made... More

As the title says, we got engaged here 14 years ago, but having read the reviews, I had doubts about 'my little surprise' for my wife and kids on our way this year to the south of france. The night we got engaged in 1998, we ate outside on the terrace and had a wonderful evening. We then went inside... More

first i would like to mention that it is not a "maison d'hote" but a hotel/restaurant 3 stars that also present itself as member of some chain of charming hotels but really not worthy except for its aspect. we went there for a diner due to its attractive menus and we did not follow previous mentions in tripadvisor but we... Between the delights of the beautiful Dordogne and the pleasure palaces of the Loire - a bed for the night should be sought somewhere in the precincts of ancient Poitiers! A serendipitous find brought us to the Castle of Perigny. Set back from the road in a large park is a charming old castle, crammed with antiques and not too... More
