It is over twenty years since my last visit and this hotel has changed a great deal in that time. Welcome was not fantastic but just about acceptable, the garden was very pleasant with adequate places to sit for a drink, but the service was not easy to obtain. We had some tea, but no effort was made to ask... More

Stopped at this hotel whilst visiting friends in the area. Staff very courteous and attentive. The room was very clean and overlooked the park and river area a very quiet setting. we also ate at the restaurant which on Trip Advisor has a seperate rating but was absolutely orgasmic the only word to describe the food. It is well prepared... More

My family and I had the most amazing experience here. After undergoing renovation and new management, this hotel is perfect. The scenery is beautiful and the landscaping is serenade, the Michelin star restaraunt is delicious, the prices are reasonable, the hotel is clean, and the staff is EXCEPTIONAL. I highly recommend for families and even couples for a romantic getaway... More

The location, ambience and staff are first rate but there it ends. Parts of the breakfast are a Lotto and depend whether the Chef is on duty or not. The evening meal is expensive, attractively presented and yet bland and tasteless. This is an establishment with staff operating without authority. Despite these issues and a room price that was cheaper... More

Mid week stay with my partner. The setting is nice and quaint by a river. Good walks in the area. The concierge looked at us like we were lost when we arrived and wasn't very friendly. Room was small and simple, bed was comfy, no fridge or glasses, one of the shower heads was broken (there are two), also some... More

Reservation booked in April 2016 (confirmed by hotel after 3 reminders by email and telephone) and just cancelled 2 weeks before during summer period. Reservation done using Wonderbox voucher, but hotel was informed accordingly in April and they accepted to be part of Wonderbox selection book for advertisement. That put us in a very bad position to find an alternative... More

The room was good with a nice bathroom with sunken bath. We had a good flat-screen television and were supplied with bottles of water. A good meal - foie gras and souffles were particularly excellent. We did, however, think it quite overpriced.

Lovely quiet location next to river and park. Comfortable, tastefully decorated room with recently renovated bathroom that was larger than the typical French bathroom. Excellent food and service in charming restaurant with wood fireplace. Would come back again!

We went there for dinner. Beautiful restaurant, lovely food and first class service but the drinks prices are to say the least extraordinary. Don't even consider ordering tonic water. Tiny glass of unremarkable pineau 12€. The very few drinks we had added up to as much as the cost of the meal !!!!!!!!!

A small Hotel across from a Park and Stream along which one can find a most pleasant walk. We found the trail that went along the stream, crossed it, and took us some ways through a leafy refuge.... with some very nice homes on the other side of the stream. Since we like walking and exploring, the area was unexpectedly... More
