The Insotel Tarida Beach Resort & Spa is lauded for its pristine rooms, breathtaking views, and prime beachfront location that offers stunning sunsets, though the sense of seclusion and additional charges for amenities have been points of contention. While the hotel's cleanliness and modern vibe are widely praised, some guests express dissatisfaction with the value, citing unexpected costs despite its all-inclusive claim.
The service quality presents a mixed bag, with commendations for staff friendliness tempered by occasional reports of inefficiency.

Detailed Reviews
This is a 4 star hotel at best, definitely not worthy of being called a Sensatori resort with a 5 star rating. Whilst I accept we are slowly coming out of unprecedented times and we should be grateful for being able to travel again, it would be remiss of me not to warn others. Firstly, being charged what I paid TUI and what I received unfortunately haven’t matched up. This is a seriously over priced resort and was a disappointment to my family and I. TUI advertised several restaurants, unfortunately two weren’t open and hadn’t been for some time. This was disappointing as one of the reasons we booked was for the variety of eateries on site as we were staying for three weeks. Not all drinks are part of the all inclusive package and carry an additional cost. Rooms are very small, air conditioning hums away to little effect, the mini fridges contribute to the heat in the rooms and barely chill anything. Don’t expect to open it to find an array of drinks / goodies. There are shampoo / shower gel dispensers on the wall in the bathroom, when they empty don’t expect a refill. We had to store all of our cases on the balcony because of the size of the room. A lot of the staff struggle with English and can’t understand what you are asking of them, some of the staff in the buffet restaurant were rather rude and would seem offended if you asked anything from them, they would return and slam the drinks on the table. I got the impression that they were in a foul mood as they were short staffed and were struggling to cope.
The evening entertainment at the main stage would be good if you could hear it, they have the volume turned down so low as apparently the hotel is close to a residential area. Begs the question, why have the stage there, if it can’t be moved then what’s the point of having it? We would escape to the piano lounge which is a bit of a secret spot for some excellent music from Julia the pianist who is brilliant, the sunset bar offers spectacular views / sunsets and the DJ is very good. The three specialist restaurants are nothing special at all, distinctly average food, we ate out a lot and there are some fantastic places to dine on the island. All of these restaurants need to be booked via a booking system based in the reception, you need to be organised and can only book 2 days ahead, they tend to get booked early in the day and places are limited. If you are having a lazy day by the pool expect to be up early circa 6.30am to reserve your sun beds for the day ahead, this was meant to be against the rules but it happened for the 21 days that we were there. It would be better if you were assigned beds. The retreat only opens at 10am and is a good ten minute up hill walk, there is a shuttle bus which can at present only take a family at a time so you may as well set off walking. Toddlers and under 10’s are well catered for at The Retreat. This is where the hottest gym in the world is located, there is air conditioning but it’s useless, my wife and I complained about it on 4 separate occasions but it was never adjusted to bring down the temperature, expect to sweat - a lot!
To summarise, this is an average 4 star hotel pretending to be a 5 star resort. Not worth the money!

First of all I understand that travelling during a global pandemic will cause issues for any hotel, therefore you have to make allowances and appreciate that you may not have access to all facilities and service may be affected. Saying that, there were too many issues not related to covid measures to rate this hotel more than a three out of five.
Please note this is not a 5 star hotel, Tui rate it a 5 but the official hotel rating is 4 star.
Check in. Chaotic is the word I would use. We were in line to check in when a staff member told us we could save time by checking in on line. So we sat down, checked in (not easy) told the staff member who told us we need to que for our keys, having lost our space in the line. I'm afraid this is typical of the service received at reception, they require more training and a strong leader as they appeared clueless at times.
Room. Fine, no complaints, large room with nice bathroom and large walk in shower. Bed was comfortable bed ( we like firm beds), aircon worked well. The only thing that let the room down was housekeeping which started out good but deteriorated as the week progressed, a common theme, main issue was having to chase for water, toilet rolls, milk for coffee.
Beach/pool. We are beach people so were shocked to be charged 40 euro for two sunbeds and an umbrella, but the beach is owned by the Spanish government and nothing to do with the hotel. We tended to use the adult pool late afternoon for a couple of hours and never had a problem getting beds, although if you want one for the day, you will need to play the towel game.
Food/drink. I thought the food was quite good, plenty of choice in the buffet with live cooking stations with two types of fish and two meat plus a carvery. Breakfast also very good. My wife is a vegetarian and had no issues with choice.
We had a meal each in the Italian and tappas restaurants, had no problem booking but we do eat late, around 8.30. Italian was good with excellent service, the tappas was very good food but extremely slow.
You can get branded spirits in the bars, but the red wine is terrible, undrinkable which was a real issue for me, I have never been unable to drink the wine at any hotel I have previously stayed in.
Service. Excellent from all the bar and waiting staff, but did buckle a bit as the hotel became busier. And this was the issue, at the start of our stay it was not busy but as more people arrived it became clear that this hotel does not have the available facilities or staff to cope. No pool towels, not sufficient sunbeds at the pools, long lines in the restaurants and dishes running out.
Although overall we did enjoy our holiday, this was the first time staying in a Sensatori and I wouldn't rush to book another one.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
We are just coming to the end of our stay here and it has been absolutely lovely. The hotel is beautifully decorated and landscaped, lots of wood and natural stone and stunning sea views.
People have addressed various concerns in previous reviews but I not experienced any of them: we were greeted with cava and orange juice on arrival and a really smiley Tui rep, the towels are fluffy, the level of cleanliness is high, the staff are overwhelmingly friendly and helpful. You are greeted with a cheery hola or buenas dias everywhere you go and any query from us has been dealt with quickly. The buffet food is of a high standard and the Sunset Bar is a great place to have tapas in the evening. We never had any problem booking. Didn’t need to get up at the crack of dawn or anything, just went to the kiosk in reception in the afternoon. Yes, the le souk restaurant is closed but that is a Covid issue.
We also only had trouble finding a sun lounger on one occasion but this is more due to other people selfishly bagging them with towels all day. If this didn’t happen there would be plenty of loungers.
The beach is not owned by the hotel, it is a public beach. I rather like this as you mix with the locals and are not stuck in your little tourist bubble. The only downside is that the loungers on the beach are therefore not affiliated to the hotel and rented out by someone else. This is expensive(€30 for two) so we didn’t do this, just walked down to swim at the beach then back to the hotel pool. I don’t think the Balinese beds should incur an extra charge. This seems like a policy bound to annoy people who have paid for an all inclusive experience. Maybe just make them bookable like the restaurants?
Someone else moaned about the toiletries being in bottles on the wall. Personally I think this is infinitely preferable to having little plastic bottles being used and disposed of everyday, far more environmentally friendly and the product inside is of a good quality which is surely all that matters. The body wash is very creamy and smells delicious.
The Tui website is a little misleading about the pools. There are not really 6. There is a fabulous adults only pool and family pool. Two pools at the Retreat are very small square pools and one is a children’s splash and slide zone, not really a pool. The spa pool comes at a very high extra charge so not an option either.
We would have upgraded to a swim up pool room had one been available as these are by far the best option but unfortunately they were all booked.
All in all this is a wonderful hotel on a beautiful island, (trips to Formentera and Ibiza Old Town are a must.)
Don’t listen to the previous negative reviews, they worried me before we arrived but I found found none of their concerns to be true. We are having a fantastic time and will be very sad to leave.

Quite a few family and friends had stayed here before so we booked up having looked at the choices avaliable. Very expensive but thought it’s all inclusive and must be good for the money. Checking in was a farse as our rooms were in different parts of the hotel. We went for lunch why they sorted this out. Rooms are fine, not 5 star as they need decorating. To book dinner reservations you have to go to reception and use one of two screens. You have to book 2 days in advance. Impossible if you have only just arrived. I questioned this was told you have to eat in the Buffett or Evo Beach and pay. The Buffett is ok, more a place for a quick lunch than a family evening meal and for what we paid we wanted and expected to eat in the restaurants. Apperantly you have to go to reception at 7:30am to be in with a chance of booking either the Italian or Sunset as Souk is closed. We had to eat out in restaurants by the beach most nights. We felt conned. Paid for all inclusive but not all was avaliable. Service is slow as the bars are understaffed. Take towels with you as the hotel ones are threadbare, thin and full of holes. The female lifeguard was excellent constantly cleaning and spraying beds that had been used, wiping the pool ladders and shower buttons. On her two days off the guy who took over did not clean a thing, just stood like a dummy and even allowed children in the adults pool. We have been to all of the Sensatori hotels now and this was my least favourite based on the restaurant situation. They cannot use Covid-19 as an excuse as it’s clear they have reduced staff numbers as the same waiters and waitresses work in both the restaurants that are open. The one you have to pay EVO Beach has one member of staff front of house who takes orders, gets drinks, served food, clears tables and struggles badly and constantly uses the excuse that he is on his own. We paid full whack and expected everything to be avaliable and five star facilities and service. At best we got a 3 star holiday and feel totally conned.

Dear rmjones225, We appreciate your comment which will help us to improve. Reading your comment we take note about the areas we need to impove. But is true that the reason why the rooms were distant is because there were diffent type booked and we manage to offer 2 close to each other only when you agreed to change the type of room. Currently at the hotel, having a great time. The food and drink have been faultless, managed to book into the two a-la-cartes no problem. Staff have been friendly and have provided a great service.
We (a couple without children), had booked a swim up room on short notice. This was in the family section and meant we had children waking up through the night on either side of the wall; with me being a light sleeper, I asked to change to the swim up in the adult section and this was not a problem.
Rooms to a good standard and clean. Bed very comfortable.
Cannot comment on the entertainment or the adult pool sun bed situation. We had no problems getting a bed at the family pool and there seems to be parts of it where only adults sit anyway.
My suggestions to the hotel would be to include some items in the minibar, even just soft drinks and to possibly extend the buffet time of an evening or to have allocated slots, or to open the closed a la carte restaurant or reduce the price of the paid for restaurant to spread out guests. I’m a very laid back person but found the amount of people at the buffet frustrating sometimes and less relaxing. Also, hand sanitizer on tables as well as at certain points in the restaurant since you share utensils with others.
Tip. Bring earplugs. Whilst it is not the hotels fault, you cannot control how loud other guests can be during the night and early morning. I’m not quite sure how so much furniture can be moved in one room.

This is a lovely hotel, we went as a family of 4. Lots of positives and a couple of issues for us but overall it is a nice hotel.
The pros for us, the rooms are modern and nice, a bit on the small side but bed sizes were good for our 9 year old tall children and nice comfy double bed for us. We made requests on booking which were met, a low floor overlooking the pool. We were next to a room where the cleaner kept their equipment so every morning I was awoken to doors banging which was quite annoying.
We upgraded our wrist bands for the duration of our holiday so we could get drinks in the beach bar and sunset bar as we had read on trip advisor, these bars have music on in the evening and we enjoyed going there, it was a bit more expensive than I expected to pay to upgrade, on reflection we maybe could have upgraded for a few days as we didn’t go every evening as we also went out of the hotel. I think the upgrade was something like 5 euros per day for a child and 10 for an adult per day?!
As we went in peak holiday season I expected the main family pool to be busy which it was, if your towel isn’t down before 10 you won’t get a bed there. I find this quite stressful but is expected at most hotels at this time of year, there is a rule that towels should not be down before 9am but I never saw towels that were put down removed, I feel this should be enforced more.
There is a couple of smaller pools and slide pools at the retreat, you are usually able to get a sun bed there, although it is a 5 minute up hill walk outside of the hotel. I specifically booked this hotel for the football pitch for my son, the fact you had to go outside the hotel to access it meant he wasn’t allowed to go alone which he enjoyed doing on our last holiday so this wasn’t the best, I booked him onto a football session through the app, he was so excited all day however nobody turned up to take the session, I complained to the rep on site.
The beach is lovely, but the beds on the beach are not included, there’s a few little bars and restaurants on the beach that were nice. Ibiza in general we found to be expensive, we hired a car as we like to go out of the hotel. If you walk over the rocks there’s a beautiful cove where locals go, it is beautiful for snorkelling and the sea was so warm and clear.
We found the food to be of a good standard and my fussy daughter usually found something she liked, although the hotel was at full capacity the buffet restaurants never felt over crowded and there was some lovely views from the restaurants too. We never booked the other restaurants on site as you had to pay in those. My son absolutely loved the omelettes at breakfast, there’s was a good selection for vegetarian and vegans.
There’s so much more I could write but overall we had a good holiday. Enjoy! If you can afford it upgrade to the swim up room!

This is our last day staying here after a week and I am very sorry to leave as we have had a brilliant stay. I would say don't take too much from the harsh reviews, people like to complain about anything.
Having stayed in all manor of hotels in the past I would say this hotel is a solid 4 star resort. The 5 stars that TUI states is pushing it but in all honesty the price is incredibly low for a 5* resort and you get what you pay for!
Covid measures have meant that things are somewhat restricted but as soon as you come to accept that and adapt to them then you'll enjoy your stay.
We were a family of 5 staying in 2 standard rooms. Both rooms were great and spacious, cleaned well and very comfortable. Beds were good and air con worked well. The house keeping staff were also very friendly and helped me multiple times struggling with a buggy.
I would say that if you don't have kids then don't come here. It is a very family friendly place and though there are 'adult only' areas there is no avoiding the amount of young children. People complaining about children in the evening should have picked somewhere else.
We used both the kids club and the nursery and both were great. The staff were lovely and my children were very happy there. I heard someone complaining about the price of the nursery but I thought it was very fair and it does state very clearly on the website that nursery is an extra cost.
The restaurants were also good for an all inclusive. Again you have to accept that you're not going to get 5* food for a reasonable all inclusive price. The main buffet was good, especially for breakfast which was brilliant. We managed to eat at both other bookable restaurants by booking by 9am at the machines in reception. It was no bother and very easy, you just had to remember to go on you way to breakfast! They were both great!
There are 3 pool options unless you book a swim up room. There is definitely an issue with availability, I think they are restricting numbers around all the pools due to covid. The adults only pool was lovely and peaceful, near the beach with its own bar. Loungers were available until about 10am then all taken. The family pool was nice but very popular and unless you had towels down by 8/8.30 you were unlikely to get a bed. Our favorite was The Retreat which is a 5 minute walk up the hill. It had a great splash park with slides, plus 2 activity pools. It also had its own buffet and bar and playgrounds. The only problem was that it didn't open until 10.30 which is very late when you have young kids in tow and again loungers were all taken within the first hour of it opening.
My other gripe was that because of covid everything needed to be booked online, I have no problem with this but there are 3 different apps (Tui app, Sensatori app, insotel Web page) and it's confusing to know where to go for what information. It really should all be in one central place.
We have had a lovely holiday. I can see where some reviews are coming from and there's definitely room for improvement but I feel that leaving 1-2 stars is massively unjustified.

Located on the beach and next to cotton beach club. Fantastic views from the adults only rooms with a sea view, you can watch the sun set in the evenings. The sunset bar is also lovely and a great place to see the evening out.
The hotel is located a fair wack away from the huddle and bustle of Ibiza. A cab journey is around €30 euros to Ibiza town or playa den bossa.
Attended the gym most days, which was based off site and a 5 min walk or the hotel runs a shuttle service for families. Gym was clean and spacious.
The staff around the hotel and fantastic, they cannot be faulted what so ever. Very attentive and they assure you are having a great time.
The hotel is beginning to become tired, this is the third SENSATORI I have stayed in and unfortunately I would rate it bottom of the pile. And in terms of maybe the last 10 years, probably the bottom of the pile for holiday accommodation.
We paid what I thought was a lot of money for a week in September, so expectations were high. We were treated with torn towels, our bedsheets had holes in also. The adults only pool area seemed to be the busiest place in Ibiza at the time. Far to many people and the towels are out before 7am, to get a bed at 9am you were struggling. One of the days the lifeguard removed our towels whilst at breakfast and gave our beds to another couple which meant we had to go to the family pool for the day. Annoying as we had paid to be adults only yet unable to stay in that area.
Food wasn’t great, choice was minimal compared to other hotels I have stayed in and the quality was not great either. Was struggling most meals to have anything tasty or healthy.
To sum up my experience we paid over £2k for a couple for a week. I wouldn’t pay over £1k for 2. I would also not attend this hotel again as there is far better hotels out there. I also would not recommend this hotel to a friend unless as I said you were paying under £1k for 2 for a week.
All in all a disappointing experience.

For the price we paid for this hotel I have come home flabbergasted!
Good points :
The buffet is ran accordingly to a 5 star. The staff are hands on and always checking the food and sorting the area which is good to see. Also the food is nice.
The Italian is great with excellent service.
Sunset restaurant has mediocre food for Spanish tapas but the service is quality. And the servers do the best they can to. I do believe they are under staffed from the looks of things though.
The Retreat is a great area with the best staff in the whole hotel. The food is good for a quick bite after the pools and the bar staff and friendly.
The kids club and baby nursery are fab.
Also the lady who was doing the abs classes etc from
Tui was great.
Improvements:
Cleaning of the rooms!!!!!!!!!
A cleaner left a bottle of chemicals in our bathroom god forbid if my toddler got her hands on it.
The cleaning is disgraceful too. Considering we are in a pandemic the floors and surfaces should lifted with bleach everyday regardless. My eldest daughter was sick of an ear infection and I explained to the cleaner she had been sick thinking she’d dig the room out with bleach but only cleaned the beds. We had to ask all the time for sheets to be changed we were coming into a ‘cleaned’ room with half a bucket of sand still in there.
Also the mini fridge .. should be called a microwave it’s boiling! My girl had medicine and it went of because it just wasn’t cold enough. Also same with my baby’s milk!!
Bar staff in the swimming area are damn right rude huffing and puffing because my partner asked for a few drinks.
The language barrier is hard too. I tried my best and to learn some Spanish but some staff just don’t want to even try back in English.
The room behind up kept going in our swim up even though they hadn’t paid for it. I paid for privacy not for a family to go in when they fancied. I didn’t want to cause conflict in front of children but where is the security on this!!!!!
Also our floats and balls kept getting pinched and I had one upset 4 year old.
The dr wasn’t about when my girl had an ear infection so had to go to San An. Front staff weren’t no help and we had to wait 30 mins for taxi whilst my girl was falling asleep on the floor.
The play areas could do with improvement too. Especially some added shaded areas.
Would only return if we got a really cheap deal.

Dear guest, Thank you for sharing youre opinion , We are sorry to hear about the inconvenience. We will speak inmediatly with the cleaning lady to see what happend. The Frige in the room is not a fridge , its a minibar ( a temperature mantainer), therefore its does not have the temperature to mantain certain medicines or milk. The taxi is unfortunatly not under our control , there is sometimes a bit of delay in the Taxis company. We also do apologize for youre floats getting pinched. Nevertherless we hope to have the chance to greet you back again in our resort in a near future. Kind regards from Ibiza

There is a Spar, I think, a short walk from the hotel. There is also a chemists, a little further on. Not having to buy nappies I can’t be 100% sure.
Probably best to check with the hotel, they can advise specifically for your needs, I guess it depends on your disability. The hotel is lovely, but it is on a bit of a hill, though it is slopes rather than steps.
Not when we went (1st July) we were always at the adults only pool and you could stroll down after 10.30 and still find a bed. However, I suspect it may get a little busier now we’re in the summer hols.
I’ve no idea sorry
I am unsure sorry
