In the 1600s, the Ottoman Empire located the Talay family in Bozcaada as one of the first muslim families of the island. We, four of the Talay brothers, took the first step in the realization of our dream, with the restauration of a forty-five-year-old vineyard house... We opened Talay Vineyards Guest House, with only four rooms, surrounded by vineyards and with a seaside and vineyard landscape.

Members of Talay family Serpil and Hulya were so kind and hospitable. Hotel is located in the vineyard and is very near to the beach of Ayazma. Hotel is cosy, clean and cool :) Breakfast is mindblowing both in taste (thanks to Hulya and Serpil) and sea view location Worth visiting again and again.

Members of the Talay family are very kind and hospitable people. Their rooms are situated right at the center of their large vineyard and also in walking distance to the best beaches of Bozcaada. We loved the experience!

We stayed in this facility (as a couple) for the second time last week after our first visit (with our 13 year old son) in july 2019. What a pleasure and relief to see that the quality and serenity it provides remain unchanged. A family business where you can trust simply everything: the service, the hygiene, the exquisite quality of the breakfast, the advice you receive on the beauties of the island. Strongly recommended for those running away from mass tourism and looking for “something special”.

Started with a detailed written instructions to ease the travel, Amazing room comfort, happy staff serving delicious breakfast with homemade tastes. Night is full of sparkles with stars only for your eyes.. We stayed 3 nights in this lovely guest house. The house is situated in the middle of Talay wine yards, away from the crowds in the center yet close to one of the best beaches (Sulubahce) of the island. Talay sisters made our stay unforgettable with their recommendations on the island and our chats during our breakfasts. This is one of the places you would come again and again. Highly recommended.

Situated in the midst of the winery of a deep rooted family of Bozcaada, this place is a gem. Such sophistication, taste and pleasure in such a simple setting makes it a unique experience. Go there if you want to stay away from the maddening crowds, to wake up to the perfume of lavender at your doorstep and to enjoy the warm hospitality of the Talay sisters.

Perfect place to escape. If you don't want to be found, this is the right location to stay. Beach is within walking distance but you are still hidden in the midst of the vineyards. Breakfast is outstanding and everything homemade. Owners are very welcoming..you can ask them anything @ anytime. Will definitely come back. Denise H. Barto

We had a wonderful 7-days holiday at Talay wine yard boutique hotel on Bozcaada island. We had to change our staying days on very short notice and the owner, Serpil Hanım was very helpful and organized it in a very short time! We started every day with an amazing breakfast and felt like the part of the family after a very short time. The food was prepared and served with full of love in a nice terrace middle of the wine yard with a view of the sea! Minimum 9 different home-made marmalades prepared by Serpil Hanım's sister, Hülya ceramics artist as well as in the kitchen. Finalizing the breakfasts with home-made cakes and a cup of coffee was unforgettable...Serpil Hanım was also helpful about giving useful tips about the island and she was so kind to give us some grapes collected freshly at our leaving. Our room was very well designed with a nice double bed with air-conditioning as well as a ventilator on the ceiling. The room has many storage possibilities and a mini library is available. The bathroom has a good size with a nice shower. Overall, you can easily feel at home from the beginning. Last but not least, they made a surprise for my birthday with a nice cake with candles, even a happy birthday song was playing in the background. What a perfect memory! We would like to thank Talay family one more time for this superb holiday!…

I rarely write reviews,but having just returned from a fabulous stay in Bozcaada.. I just want to share that for the rest of visitors, the garden, house owner and hospitality they have it's amazing. So basically it's family owned it’s run by Serpil TALAY and her lovely sister Hulya TALAY which they are quite lovely and let's say you feel home. We stayed about 4 nights which one of our outstanding time with them in August. The hotel located in a perfect location, the rooms are very relaxing and perfect in decor all of things is a symbol of wine and grapes ,it’s very beautiful, quite natural and everywhere smells lavender. The breakfast is very Organic and fresh cause they prepare it from there garden so all foods are very delicious which I can’t explain it. What makes the hotel very special there Hospitality, the staffs are unbelievably kind and helpful they really do treat you like one of the family. The made our trip outstanding and special I'm very much looking forward to returning next year and visiting them one’s Again.…

It's an excellent boutique hotel with local owners running it. it's in between their local vineyard with just 5 min walk to the best nice & quiet beach. Breakfast is served at the terrace with view of the sea in between the vineyard, all home made jams, local cheese, bread and unforgettable chat with the hosts and the other guests. It's a great spot for couples, friends and families who want to feel the island culture yet want to rest in tranquility and take advantage of the activities around.
