The Balkaya Pansiyon is a great place to stay. It's in a great location. It has very friendly people working there. It also has clean rooms. And all of this for a reasonable price (great price for Amasra).

The balkaya pansiyon is mainly a good place to stay because the people working there are so friendly and helpful! Also, the location is good, in the middle of town and the rooms are nice, clean and not too expensive.

Right in the centre of town. Friendly people, offering lemonade and tea any time we lingered in the foyer. No breakfast included (I think they gave up), though you are close to cafes in the square and the associated bakery business next door. Cons are the tiny tiny room, its very noisy (street noise and mosque) and the sheets are...

The hotel room was tiny and the bed so small that my boyfriend (1,83cm height) could not fit and part of his legs stayed out of the bed. The wi-fi only worked in the hotel's lobby. The hotel's location is very central, but at the same time right next to the city mosque, so be prepared to hear the prayers...

We casually found this place by walking around searching for a cheap place to stay. The Pansion looked nice and cosy. The receptionist Turkan was very friendly and showed us a room. We could negociate the price and then decided to stay. It was a good decision! You can just sit in the lobby and talk with Turkan. She is...

We stayed with our family (Simone, Diede, Mats, Lois, Pieter) at the Balkaya Pansiyon for two nights in Amasra. We were received by Turkan, a very friendly woman who works at the pension and speaks English (she has learned by herself just talking with visitors and likes to improve). She gives you a good feeling as a visitor of Amasra...

The room was very clean and comfortable. Wifi works well everywhere and the location is super central. The communal area is quite small but Türkan treats the guests very well and speaks great english. She knew immediately the names of us and invited us for tea all the time. It was quite expensive for having no kahvalti included but you...

Balkaya Pension was the cheapest place I could find in Amasra, so that is the main reason I chose it. The rooms are small but equipped with everything. The place is nothing special really, and the owners got friendly only after chatting a bit. If you bargain on the price, you can get down the price a bit but for...
