I have been to quite a few campsites around the Malaga area now and I have to say that this has got to be the worst. You have to pay for a special adapter to be able to use electricity on your pitch, I destroyed a lot of galvenised tent pegs as well as my hammer trying to get them in the ground, the pitch was small and a long way from any toilet, the pool area looked nothing like the pictures and the area had a sewerage smell to it, I was hoping to get some breakfast at the restaurant and it was only open on certain days. It was an awful experience!!

This is the second time we have visited this site, but I think our last. The site has excellent facilities, if they are open. It’s not cheap either €31 per night with EHU. Located right next to the A7 motorway, so road noise all of the time, even though the night. Facilities advertised as open but closed, restaurant, pool bar, family toilets and showers. The site also needs some maintenance, one of the rules (and there are plenty)is to conserve water, yet several of the pitches around us have leaking taps. I reported this to reception several days ago, but no one has done anything about it! There are plenty of better sites around at a far cheaper price. So I think we will be visiting these in the future.

So on arrival the abruptness of the receptionist was slightly annoying, "I need your I.D... gave driving licence with my Spanish ID number on it, not good enough.. gave my NIE okay.. now I want car insurance documents and your payment card..Hang on, I already paid online?!! We decided to camp i.e. in a tent so booked a 'pitch' (€35) made from gravel with what seemed like concrete underneath. Impossible to get a peg in without a nailgun, or pneumatic drill.. We had our own electricity, TV amd water point.. filthy with what looked like used toilet paper all around it.. The pool was unavailable without appointment due to Covid etc, fair enough. When we left (the next day), we went to the office just to make sure we wouldn't be charged again, and sure enough they were about to charge us for another night automatically had we not 'checked out' I imagine this is the scam where they request your bank card and make a copy. My advice is don't bother, go to Camping Cabopino on the other side of Marbella, the staff are amazing there are better food and drink options and the beach is way better. I hate bad service, so thanks Camping Bella Vista, I will not be back!

Turned up with 3 tired little boys, checked in (slowly) and then took the boys for a well earned dip in the pool. Unfortunately the Spanish guard had other ideas, he started screaming and shouting like a banshee that due to the COVID numbers were restricted to 30. I counted there were 10 people in there. I pleaded with him that my poor little boys just wanted a quick dip but he wouldn’t budge, despite my 2 youngest crying. I mean what kind of human being doesn’t let 3 little boys have 5 mins in a quiet pool. We were the only English here so let’s be honest we know why he was acting like that. I even pointed out that I’m a doctor so would never put my children at any COVID risk. He wouldn’t budge and so we left with three very upset little boys. I even tried reception advising I’d paid to stay here so should be entitled to 5 mins in the pool. The response was we are fully booked all day why don’t you go down to the sea. Truly disgusted and it ruined our trip. Would advise ALL ENGLISH TO KEEP AWAY FROM THIS POORLY RUN ENGLISH / GIBRALTAR HATING campsite. I don’t want another little families trip ruined by this disgusting behaviour.

Without question, this is the highest class of caravan/camping dog friendly park of anywhere we have stayed in Spain. The facilities are of the very highest standard and the site is kept immaculately clean and tidy at all times. The General Manager, Scott, and the whole team at Bella Vista are all very welcoming, helpful and extremely friendly and polite. Whether you’re at the bar, restaurant, hygiene facilities or having your pitch tidied by the gardening team / groundsmen, the team are respectful and always happy to be of help. We have just re-booked for the following season, so good is the experience this will be our sixth year of staying at the site. We would not hesitate to recommend such an outstanding holiday destination.
