We spent our fifth anniversary at The Chilterns View and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The lodge itself was finished to a very high standard and the facilities were very good. We're definitely planning on coming back!

We stayed for 5 nights in April 2017, and had the most incredible break away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The lodge is beautifully presented and comfortable - nice and light during the day and cosy at night. We loved the luxury of a lodge with both a wood-burning stove and a hot tub - and the...

Had an amazing weekend at the Chilterns View. Lovely accommodation, with real attention to detail. We found a fab local farm shop and cooked on the barbecue, where the host had provided coal. The log burner gave the cabin a really homely feel and the hot tub was a bonus. We felt like we were miles away from anywhere, but...

We've just returned from a lovely 2 night stay. The lodges were clean and cosy with all the amenities. The scenery was beautiful and we were able to completely relax! The hot tub and log burner were particular highlights! Rachel was very welcoming and helpful, we will definitely be returning! Thank you!

We stayed here in February for a birthday treat and we absolutely loved it. The lady that greeted us and Rachel, the owner, were the most kind, polite and helpful people you could ever meet! I managed to break one of the torches in the lodge but Rachel was really understanding and nice about it. The lodge itself is gorgeous,...

Lovely setting and lodge. Rachael was a brilliantly welcoming host, even lighting the communal camp fire one night. Hot tub and hammock with a lot burning fire too made it perfect for whatever the weather could have done. Good location for going into Oxford, but not being in the hub bub, and lovely little villages in between. The only thing...

Hubby and I, deciding we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a romantic weekend, were delighted to find this place. Having a very rural location on the outskirts of the small village of Ewelme, we met the owner, Rachel, at the farmhouse. Rachel was very friendly and quickly showed us to our lodge....

This was a lovely place and the hot tub made the trip amazing. However, when I emailed the owner after we left to ask if I had left my iPhone charger in the lodge, I have been ignored. This ruined the trip for us as we would have returned. The fact we have been ignored after spending so much money...

All my lovely guests can have keys we just love saying how safe and lovely the area is. we have lots of things left in the lodges all the time and keep them here for returning guests and sometimes send them on but one phone call could have resolved this very quickly. Rachel

My partner and I stayed in the Chaucer lodge last night and it was AMAZING! From the moment we arrived until the moment we checked out we were blown away by the place. We were very lucky with the weather; beautiful clear skies and frost made the lodge's panoramic view even more spectacular. An unexpected highlight for us was the...
