What a great visit, this is the second time we have stayed here, Penny is so warm and welcoming, the house is decorated to a high standard, the rooms are extremely clean. Penny also cooks a mean breakfast, thank you for a great stay, and best wishes for the future

A nice quiet location & a very nice, comfortable room. Shower room was slightly small but overall a lovely place to stay. Breakfast was plentiful & very tasteful. The landlady was very helpful in suggesting places for an evening meal.

All you want in a B&B. Good breakfast. Perfectly done poached eggs, tasty bacon and sausage. Lovely good sized clean room. The house is beautiful, with lots of period features and good sized garden. Penny was a very friendly host. I would highly recommend if needing a B&B in this part of Somerset.

My wife an I stayed for one night and found the venue very enjoyable and pleasantly quiet. The room was very clean and comfortable although the shower was slightly disappointing with lack of power pressure but 7/10 for that. We enjoyed a tasty Sunday morning breakfast and the landlady was extremely pleasant. We would stay again if in the area.

A group of us stayed here on our way to Cornwall. We chose the Greenwood as it is placed very conveniently just off the M5. I had emailed Penny the hostess on the Sunday to let her know an arrival time. On our arrival, the drive and small car park was packed due to a function within the house. Due...

I had to arrange an overnight stay around Bridgwater and on LateRooms.com and booking.com had your average hotels so I tried hotel UK.com and found this lovely one. It wasn't your average hotel as it looked like a manor or Hall. What surprised me was the price compared to others of less quality. This place and location was perfect for...

The Greenwood is an 18th century house located in West Huntspill. Given the age of the building there are a few beams and uneven floors to watch for, but the room we had was well appointed and comfortable with a good toilet/shower room. The breakfast was terrific with lots of choice including some items outside the usual breakfast fare. The...
