Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Spent 3 nights at this hotel (booked before coronavirus struck), a little apprehensive before arrival as to their preparedness for covid 19 and the impact it would have on our comfort and enjoyment. Needn't have worried. This is a new hotel in an out of town location. All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and supportive. Hygiene was obviously a top priority and the common spaces, door handles and hand rails were regularly cleaned throughout our stay. Our room was spotless on arrival and, though there was understandably no room service, reception was always ready with tea/sugar/milk and spare towels. We hope to return. Thank you very much.

Good stay, plenty of good takeaways near bye as no food on site.
Beds and pillows are very firm so not to my preference but we managed.
Good amenities in room, shower was hot and fast and bathroom spotless with hand rails for ease of stepping out of bath.

the Travelodge was both clean and comfy, having a few of the little extras that seem to now be in the new build hotels e.g bedside sockets with USB charger ports. The hotel also has a decent amount of parking. We used the hotel as a base for a family Bank Holiday weekend away. The position of the hotel is a bit out of the way, but we like that as it tends to be quieter. You certainly need transport if choosing to stay here. Sadly the restaurant was closed & we're still waiting for the prepaid breakfasts to be refunded ( a bit disappointed really that its taking them so long to refund) . There is an Aldi next door, which we found very handy! There's also both Tesco and Asda close by. We found a Hungry Horse quite close. The main meals are very nice & good value, though I wouldn't recommend their breakfast ! We all enjoyed our short break and would certainly consider staying at this Travelodge again.

We stayed here on a buy one night and get one night free deal and cost us £80 for two people for two nights including two days of wifi.

Covid-19 changes the mechanics of your stay which you expect, but when we checked in we were told the bar/cafe was closed. Would have been nice to have been informed of that before we arrived so we could have researched before we left.

The pillows were poor and both felt very hard. One pillow was too low, and two pillows were too high, so it wasn't the most comfortable sleep.

The room servicing is out of the window with the current crisis, but you still paid for it. yes you could ask for more cups, teabags etc, but i do feel a discount should be offered.

I probably wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed here for 4 nights durning the October school holidays. We are a family of four & our room had a double bed and two singles. The room was nice and clean.
There is no room cleaning due to COVID but we were able to change our towels & mugs and restock our tea & coffee etc every day so this was no problem.
We had pre booked breakfast and this was well worth it, the children eat free so this made it very good value. Breakfast is table service but very plentiful.
There was always plenty of free parking.
Aldi was next door so very handy for snacks etc.
This was a very good base to get to lots of places.
The only slight draw back for us was the length of the walk into town, it took a good 45 mins.
We would highly recommend this hotel, for the money it was a perfect base for a nice little getaway.

Having stayed here before, pre-lockdown, we were confident that this hotel would be a safe place to book in for a much needed break. We were not wrong. We found staff constantly cleaning communal areas, and no-one entered our room during our three night stay. Always welcomed warmly by reception staff, and a friendly greeting from housekeeping staff . This particular Travelodge is well situated for seaside locations and has a brand new Aldi next door for essentials. Highly recommended. We will be back.

This location was chosen as it was close to where a function was being held and also a few miles from the beach.
We stayed in a family room (1 double and two singles). The room including the bathroom was clean and the beds were comfy.
We paid extra for breakfast and had no complaints - a variety of items to suit every member of our family.
The staff were polite and helpful.
Plenty of parking on site.

We booked Travelodge at Burnham-on-Sea as a base for touring and sightseeing around the area. Our aim to visit Cheddar and the George, Glastonbury (tip: Abbey closed Monday), Wells etc. This was the ideal location for the price and facilities. The staff were very helpful in suggesting eating places e.g The Pack Horse in Mark with wonderful food. As usual the hotel was on a service area but quiet with great view from our room. It was very comfortable and clean (the rooms not being cleaned during your stay due to pandemic but we knew this upon booking for 2 nights).
We were very satisfied with our stay and would return if in the area.

have visited this travelodge before and find it to be one of the better ones....Stayed for 6 nights as we like the area and use as a base which we know is clean and comfortable. We had 2 rooms this time as my parents came and they are disabled so we booked an accessible room which to our surprise were on the 1st floor. Not totally ideal trying to navigate through the security doors and lifts with a wheelchair and motorbility scooter but we managed. Maybe when booking an accessible room the question should be asked if motorbility scooters are being used. The breakfast room can get very busy as its quite small but we never waited long to get a table and again not very disabled friendly as very narrow. The manager Mike and his team work really hard and and always friendly and welcoming. We had some lovely days out even though the weather easily must have been 35 degrees so a tad warm but the room has adequate air con and lovely and cool when we got back at night. You do need a car if you stay here as a bit out of town but lovely places to visit Cheddar Gorge only 20 mins away Weston Super Mare 15 mins Minehead 1 hour and we even had a visit to nearby Weymouth only 1.5 hours away....If you want a clean comfortable base near a seaside resort but dont want to pay the premium Highbridge Travelodge is the place....Thanks for a great stay

Hi , should be contenental breakfast in box, stayed there but I never eat breakfast, so I don’t book breakfast deal as it is expensive for just a coffee, I don’t think they should do breakfast deal as not many people would eat that much, if they just served a normal breakfast and charged according to taste they would make more money, as it is better to buy what you want rather than nothing
