Hotel's Favourite
At Nama Retreat you truly can relax and enjoy your vacation.
Jenny, Evgenios, Seva and the whole team do everything they can to make you enjoy your stay 100%. All is spot on, from welcome at your arrival to breakfast, the room, swimming pool, contact with you.
The hotel is located at the edge of the village, in a quiet area and looking out over the farm lands. The center is at walking distance where you can find a few good taverns for diner.
Sitting on your terras you can enjoy the view on the swimming pool and the farmlands.
The teras is spacious enough holding a table and 2 chairs and a drying rack without feeling cramped.
The rooms are spacious, well designed and decorated. They make you immediate feel relaxed, welcome and at home.
the materials used are of high quality and everything well equiped.
The room is consists of kitchenette, sleeping area, sitting area and balcony
The sleeping and living area is spacious, decorated to relax. The bed is of good quality, no problems to sleep well in there.
There is a 3 seat comfortable canape. which can be converted to a bed.
next pf that is a small table with 2 chairs, allowing you to sit and have breakfast if you want.
Bathroom is modern, spacious and very comfortable.
The kitchenette has all you need, a small cooking fire, microwave, refrigerator, espressomachine, waterkettle, utensils, tostimachine.
Breakfast is luxuriously in choices and quality. you can have it in the breakfast/bar area or at your room.
It's made up of ham, cheese, marmelade, honey, fresh fruit, greek yoghurt, milk, fresh orange juice and eggs however you want them; boiled, omelet, omelet with bacon or cheese, horses eyes, ...
To drink you can have tea, coffie, frappé, .....
Every day Jenny and Seva make and additional salade or pastry,...
To much to finish, no problem. Take te basket with the leftover up to your room.
Wondering where to go or eat? No problem, ask Evgenios. He has plenty of valuble tips and information for you.
When you terurn in the evening, you can relax in the bar of a drink (soft, cocktais, or spirits) or enjoy the house wine Nama, espacially selected from a neighbouring winery.
Tip : There's a meaning behind the name of the hotel.

This trip was meant to be our mini moon. Unfortunately our wedding was cancelled due to COVID but we decided to not write off 2020 completely and still go ahead with our mini moon. Best decision ever! So much so that we decided to extend our trip from 7 days to 10. Everything about this place is amazing.
We arrived after 10pm and they collected us from the airport (for free). The trip to the hotel is a short 15 minute drive away which was brilliant as the last thing I wanted was to be in a car for an additional couple of hours. Despite the proximity to the airport we never saw a single plane over the hotel so I assume it’s nowhere near the flight path. Once we arrived at the hotel we were greeted with warmth and hospitality plus a toastie and drinks! The hotel also kindly gave us a bottle of bubbly to celebrate our mini moon.
The hotel itself is beautiful. With 11 rooms it never feels crowded and there is plenty of space with sun loungers around the lovely pool. The whole place is immaculate and smells wonderful too. The owners Jenny and Evgenios have created a beautiful hotel and their hospitality is incredible.
We had a swim up room which I would recommend as it’s pretty nice just waking up straight on to a pool. I’d read up in previous reviews about their breakfast baskets and they did not disappoint. Every morning we received a basket with breads, cheeses, hams, omelette, bacon, Greek yogurt, pastries, fruit, condiments, juice and milk. There was enough there to keep us going throughout the day and the toastie maker and microwave in the room made it convenient to heat up the leftovers. We had the option of eating breakfast at the dining area outside or having the basket delivered to our room. Lazily we chose this option quite a few times and it was delivered with such care and attention! Later on, the owners also organised take out of gyros a few times for us (with free super speedy delivery).
The location is just a five minute walk from a few tavernas, a couple of super markets and a pharmacy. The hotel also organised car hire at a great rate €25 a day (2 day hire minimum). They can also organise travel to Rhodes old town through their son’s travel company which is convenient.
This was the perfect break for us. We needed to relax after what has been quite an intense and hectic year. I’ve come back feeling super relaxed and refreshed. I really can’t recommend this place enough, it’s perfect and I can totally see why people keep coming back to stay with Jenny and Evgenios! Their hospitality is incredible!

We stayed at the Nama Retreat for 5 nights in the first week of October. The hotel is small (11 rooms), which is very appreciated. It offers huge breakfast (more than you can eat), new and modern rooms and a decent pool.
They bring you a basket full of food that you can take to your room if you don’t finish it. Additionally they serve coffee, various egg dishes and some local food (changes every day).
The hotel managed the booking of a rental car for us (25€ per day), so we could drive to various beaches (St. Paul, Anthony Quinn, Tsambika and Kalitea Springs).
The airport pickup (free of charge) was also very helpful.
The owners are extremely nice, helpful and very open. They help you with destinations, tavernas or any other question you might have.
The hotel is about 10mins of a car drive away from the next beach in a small town named Pastida. It’s very quiet and easy to reach by car.
Overall we enjoyed the clean rooms, friendly staff, family atmosphere and a very good price to value ratio.
I will recommend this definitely to our friends and family. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Yet another fantastic tranquil two weeks spent at this wonderful family run retreat. We feel so lucky to have been there in this strange and testing year and we felt safer in Pastida than we do at home.
The daily breakfast baskets that we got every day , bring a whole new meaning to "all day breakfast " as they truly do last all day. Many thanks to Mbrissa who keeps the top class rooms and surroundings spotless and thank you to George the barman for keeping the drinks flowing 😀
Jenny, Eugene, Kathy,Deno, Savas and Rula, thank you all for making us feel so welcome and making our stay so pleasant and memorable. We are missing you all already and can't wait to see you all again next year. Stay safe and take care.

My wife and I stayed here for a week between 27th September - 4th October and we had an amazing time. It was our honeymoon and we had high expectations but everything exceeded our expectations. As part of the accommodation we were picked up at the airport as soon as we landed. When we arrived we received a drink and a snack and checked in immediately. It’s a family run hotel and the family treat you like one of their own. It’s an amazing feeling. The hotel is modern, spotless clean and the breakfast is what dreams are made of. Each morning you have until 11am to pick your breakfast (we kept choosing omelettes) but it comes with some many extras that will keep you well fed and as it was our honeymoon we mostly had it delivered to our room. The swim up rooms are outstanding, with a balcony to enjoy your food and sunbathe. The pool is clean and maintained to a high standard.
Enjoying a drink at the bar is great because it’s either the family or friends of the family who all treat you as a VIP and make you feel so relaxed and at home. Everyone staying there feel that joy and everyone there is happy and friendly as a result of the atmosphere created by the owners.
The bedroom and bathroom is modern with great air con, the beds are comfortable and you even have Netflix on the TV.
What I loved most is that it’s an adult only hotel so it’s nice and quiet and with only 10 rooms it’s never too busy.
The town is located close to the airport and there are great restaurants within a few minutes walk. It’s a 15 minute drive to Rhodes town or Falaraki if you want to go to a bigger village for dinner one evening but you rarely want to be far away from the hotel.
The hotel is fantastic on its own but the family owners add the icing on top of the cake to make it the best experience possible! We’ve booked to go back next week and booked it again for May next year and we are planning on coming here at least once a year going forward.

We had an amazing and relaxing experience at Nama Retreat. The pictures and description don’t do it justice as it’s a wonderful, family run small hotel in a nice little village in Rhodes. The service was personal and friendly and our swim up room was luxurious whilst being affordable. We would strongly recommend that people who like luxury, a bit of peace and relaxation check this place out, you won’t be disappointed. The breakfast was another special touch with a breakfast basket that gave us enough food for lunch as well. The pool was very clean and we could tell all the other guests equally loved the layout and style of it. Although Nama is in a village, by car it’s not far at all from other main sites in Rhodes and the owners are always on hand to give you tips on where to go. By far this is one of our favourite ever hotels and we can’t wait to visit again in the future!

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights whilst travelling around Rhodes.
We literally had the BEST stay!
The owners can not do enough for you, they make you feel at home, are so friendly, offer their Rhodes recommendations and you can tell they really love what they do which is lovely to see!
The bed is sooooo comfy, we had bad weather one day so we literally didn’t get out of bed haha!
Now I’m not too sure where to start in regards to the breakfast but WOW it was incredible! You get freshly bottled water, fresh orange juice & tea/coffee. Aswell as a hamper full of surprises and freshly made eggs & bacon! There was so much food we would take our hampers back to the room & even managed to make our lunch for the day! My partner & I have been travelling since Aug and this is hands down the best breakfast we’ve had so far!
We felt a little sad leaving and kinda wished we had a few more days booked!
Once again thanks for having us and we cannot recommend enough!
P.s thanks for the minty shot after we came back from dinner one evening :)

I am writing this review whilst waiting to leave for the airport home, wishing we were staying longer.
Nama retreat is one of the most amazing places I have ever stayed. It’s tranquil, relaxing and just all round beautiful.
The rooms are modern and clean, id definitely recommend the swim up room! The bed is very comfy and also has great black out curtains.
Breakfast in the morning is enough to feed you for the afternoon as well with hams, cheeses and bread. The mini apple pies were one of my favourite morning treats, thank you Jenny!
The pool is clean and beautiful. There are more than enough sun loungers plus the white ones in the water for the swim up rooms. The bar is open all day and you are able to add drinks to your room tab to pay at the end of the holiday, or daily if you prefer.
The location is in a small town 20 minutes from the airport. A few minutes walk brings you to a handful of nice restaurants and a couple of supermarkets which is ideal. There is also a great place where you can get a lovely Gyros for €2 and they will deliver to Nama for free.
If you wanted to explore Rhodes a little more you can hire a car for just €30 which Evgenios kindly organised for us or Savvas will drive you for the same price as the local taxis. We drove to Lindos and it was so worth it!
The whole team at Nama are amazing! Nothing is too much trouble and they really make the holiday and make your experience 10 times better.
Thank you Jenny, Evgenios, George, Savvas and the whole of the Nama Retreat team. We can’t wait to see you next year xx

Jenny, Eugene and the staff all went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay. Giving us our own individual (vegan) breakfast, sending us complimentary drinks to our balcony whilst we were getting ready, and Jagers at the bar before and after our nights out.
The hotel itself is absolutely spotless, the rooms the modern and seriously comfortable and relaxing. The breakfasts are unforgettable (fresh eggs, pancakes, pastries cooked to order) and a takeaway basket of fruits, yoghurts, drinks and snacks meant that we never had to think about lunch either.
Jenny is one of the warmest hosts we have ever met. It was my girlfriends 30th and she made sure she had a very special stay.
The hotel has everything you need- I zen pool area, swim up rooms, cold drinks and all day sun. Because of the small size it felt like our own villa on many days- we were after a relaxing stay to refresh and it couldn’t of been more perfect.
In terms of location you are in driving distance from Rhodes old town (15 mins) Kallithea and Anthony Quinn beaches (10mins) lindos (45 mins) and the Rhodes are all in great condition and never especially busy. We had a hire car, but the hotel has a brand new shuttle bus and does lifts and excursions.
I could go on all day and would score this hotel 10/10 all I would say is thank you Eugene and Jenny for a great week. We can’t wait to come back. Joe and Emily X

We LOVED Nama retreat. Jenny, Evgenios, & their whole staff make you feel like part of the family. The hotel is not in the "main" tourist areas of Rhodes making it peaceful yet still close to the action. Savvas (their son) runs a tour company that was able to coordinate transportation for our excursion to both lindos and Rhodes town at a very reasonable rate.
Alternatively you can have a rental car delivered to the hotel for a great rate but we decided to skip this option.
The town of Pastida while small, also has plenty of restaurants and markets at walking distance from Nama.
The hotel only has 11 rooms and the facilities are perfect for the size. Our room was super clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed being able to swim up feature.
What really sets Nama apart is the hospitality. From the moment you arrive to the day you leave you feel welcome. The small touches are thoughtful and sprinkled into every facet of the stay. The little treats, the amazing breakfast basket, lovely conversation, & just genuine kindness and generosity makes the stay a very wonderful experience.
I also wasn't expecting robes & slippers for what I was paying but those were also provided for guest use! Definitely stay here if you're looking for a peaceful & intimate experience with wonderful hosts. If you're looking for all of the amenities of a large resort this probably isn't the place for you. Our next stop was to a larger resort on a different island and are 100% missing the Nama experience.

Hi
The restaurant scene is Pastida is very Greek ( nice , well priced but basic ) , and would recommend a trip to Ialysos where you find a variety of places to eat , and only a short ride in a taxi , which Nama will sort .
Also Rhodes Town is not too far away , although wasn't our scene as too busy / Touristy , and a lot of people trying to get you inside which we did not appreciate.
Have you booked Nama yet ? , as we had to book well in advance to get July 2024 ( already booked for 2025 ! to be sure of a place ) .
Only 11 rooms with repeat custom so booked up very quickly, but well worth going .
Its our happy place where we relax as soon as we walk through the door.
Good luck and hope you get there
Irons are provided if you ask Baresa the cleaner

Hi Rachael
I didn’t see anything nearby although I did notice the hotel offer massages
I’d email the hotel and ask them - the family are so amazing I’m sure they’ll help if they can
Their is a small exercise area on the top floor with mats weights cross trainers etc so to be honest we took our iPad and did Pilates classes with Zoom recordings we had - you’ll have a fab time we loved it - enjoy
Hello, There are some good restaurants and bars in walking distance. There are also a few shops, supermarkets, pharmacy, cake shop etc.
