As everyone says this hotel and staff are wonderful. I’m also nervous to share in case it gets too busy but that would be selfish. They can not do too much for you. They’ve thought of everything. From the design to the cleanliness. The breakfast is lovely and abundant. So many extra touches. I don’t want to say too much and spoil it for you if you decide to go. Probably the best place I’ve stayed and I’ve stayed in lots. Not the biggest but that works for me. Already planning to go back and we never go back. Too many places to visit. The town has more restaurants than we thought but we also went to Rhodes town a few times. Old and New. The co owner Jenny recommended a few places to eat. All nice. No negative comments to report. We even found a nice local bar in the town. Main crossroads. I think it’s called Yannis. Enjoyed people watching and the traffic chaos. Lovely people. Not near the beach, if you like beaches. About 15 minutes away? Jenny’s son runs a local taxi business. Polite, punctual. We used him a lot instead of hiring a car.

Hotel's Favourite
At Nama Retreat you truly can relax and enjoy your vacation. Jenny, Evgenios, Seva and the whole team do everything they can to make you enjoy your stay 100%. All is spot on, from welcome at your arrival to breakfast, the room, swimming pool, contact with you. The hotel is located at the edge of the village, in a quiet area and looking out over the farm lands. The center is at walking distance where you can find a few good taverns for diner. Sitting on your terras you can enjoy the view on the swimming pool and the farmlands. The teras is spacious enough holding a table and 2 chairs and a drying rack without feeling cramped. The rooms are spacious, well designed and decorated. They make you immediate feel relaxed, welcome and at home. the materials used are of high quality and everything well equiped. The room is consists of kitchenette, sleeping area, sitting area and balcony The sleeping and living area is spacious, decorated to relax. The bed is of good quality, no problems to sleep well in there. There is a 3 seat comfortable canape. which can be converted to a bed. next pf that is a small table with 2 chairs, allowing you to sit and have breakfast if you want. Bathroom is modern, spacious and very comfortable. The kitchenette has all you need, a small cooking fire, microwave, refrigerator, espressomachine, waterkettle, utensils, tostimachine. Breakfast is luxuriously in choices and quality. you can have it in the breakfast/bar area or at your room. It's made up of ham, cheese, marmelade, honey, fresh fruit, greek yoghurt, milk, fresh orange juice and eggs however you want them; boiled, omelet, omelet with bacon or cheese, horses eyes, ... To drink you can have tea, coffie, frappé, ..... Every day Jenny and Seva make and additional salade or pastry,... To much to finish, no problem. Take te basket with the leftover up to your room. Wondering where to go or eat? No problem, ask Evgenios. He has plenty of valuble tips and information for you. When you terurn in the evening, you can relax in the bar of a drink (soft, cocktais, or spirits) or enjoy the house wine Nama, espacially selected from a neighbouring winery. Tip : There's a meaning behind the name of the hotel.

Well, what can I say that hasn't already been said…. What a wonderful little gem! Like a lot of us, life is so busy and I crave peace and quiet! At Nama Retreat that’s exactly what I got! A wonderful welcome on arrival, room was so carefully thought out, it has all you need and I couldn’t think of anything to improve it! Furniture, fixings and fixtures are of a quality standard. We had a lovely terrace with a day bed and table and chairs, so again, something for everyone. Other rooms offer different terrace options. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. A really well thought out breakfast basket was prepared for us to take back to our room and on several days we had so much food we skipped dinner! Never anywhere else have we had this level of breakfast service. The family who owns and run this lovely place care deeply that you have the holiday you want and you’re treated like family immediately. Nothing is too much trouble. Restaurants are only a few minutes walk and Rhodes Town about 20 minutes ride. I’d really like to send a personal Thankyou to the family for making us feel so welcomed and we can’t wait to return. Yamas 🥂 One last thing, shhhhh don’t tell anyone how wonderful Nama is, I want to make sure there is availability next year for me 🤣😂🤣

We have just returned home from a lovely stay at Nama Retreat. From the time of arrival to going home, the hosts have been so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable with great amenities. Breakfast baskets each morning were fantastic, I loved this concept. You could feel the love and attention to detail put in by the hosts to ensure that the needs of each guest were met. I couldn't find any fault. Everything was perfect. I have stayed at many hotels, and this has by far been the best. Thank you to Jenny, Evgenios, and all the wonderful team. You have made our holiday truly memorable. Nama Retreat is really a hidden gem!

After reading such amazing reviews we were so pleased Nama Retreat lived up to, and surpassed all expectations. Stunning rooms and pool, exceptional quality room and food. The breakfasts were the most amazing and varied we have ever had. The family who owned and ran the place, along with all the wonderful staff could never do enough for you, with a warm smile and greeting always. I want to say it was awful so people will stay away and make this place our heaven to come back to for us but these wonderful people and this magical place has a heart big enough to welcome everyone and stay just the way it is, perfect.

We stayed at the Nama retreat for one week. Overall, we enjoyed our stay immensely. We were greeted on arrival with a complimentary drink each and throughout our stay were spoiled with homemade treats and surprises - such as homemade pastitsio or a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate our honeymoon. The staff and the family who run the hotel are simply the nicest and most hospitable people you will ever meet. The maid service is regular and thorough - the rooms are impeccably clean. They are also very well furnished and equipped with fridge, microwave etc. The breakfast was delightful everyday and the variety on offer means there is something for everyone. What you can’t eat in the morning you can take back to your room and enjoy throughout the day. This is a lovely touch and is a small example of what sets this place apart and offers insight into why so many people we spoke to return year after year. The pool area was beautiful, clean and peaceful. It is very spacious and there is always a sunbed available. We used the hotel’s taxi service multiple times. Booking was simply a case of asking one of the members of staff - nothing more required. The drivers were punctual and polite, and the service here was superb. We preferred this to hiring a car but plenty of other folk had successfully hired cars to enable them to explore the island, too. Overall, our stay was really really enjoyable thanks to the staff and the lovely atmosphere created by them and the other guests. Thank you Nama Retreat staff for a wonderful holiday and hope to revisit as soon as we can! Rob and Emily

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! What an amazing place. The most fabulous hotel I have ever stayed at. This hotel is family run by one of the most beautiful families you could meet, you arrive as a guest and leave as a best friend. Every attention to detail is covered, we had a swim up suite which is beautiful. Breakfast is provided but it’s actually breakfast and lunch! Breakfast each day is eggs and bacon with a basket filled with, breads, ham, cheese, fruit and the best Greek yoghurt I have ever tasted. On Sunday we had a knock to our door and Jenny the owner brought us the most gorgeous homemade lasagne for our lunch. Each evening we had a drink with the family, Evgenio and Jenny the owners are always there to welcome with the biggest smile and warmest Kalimera you will hear, the little bar is stocked full of everything you could want. Alex will make sure your drinks are always replenished and we enjoyed fab conversations and laughs with him and Dinos in the evening. Stavos another family member took us anywhere we needed to go and again was on hand for restaurant recommendations etc. I just can not describe in words how wonderful this place is, it was so fabulous we booked while there for next year again to make sure we got booked in because this place books out fast. I just can not wait to go back, this hotel is indeed a retreat and like no other. Jenny and Evgenio have created a truly exceptional retreat hotel and their love and passion for it shines through. I can not wait to return!!!!

Our third visit in three years and it was just as amazing as all the other visits. We were greeted by our Nama family and it was like we’d never been away. Within seconds the stresses of work were gone and we began our week of relaxation. Jenny and Evgenios were as always the perfect hosts! A special mention about Jenny’s cooking and baking, the best food I’ve tasted. The breakfast is still amazing and kept us well fed throughout the day. The hotel was so quite during the day, often it was like having a private pool. We asked to go to Falaraki for the day, executive travel was arranged for us and we went off exploring. We’ve booked to return next year, we are already on our Nama Retreat countdown. We can’t wait to be back with our Nama family!
