After our trek up Snowdon we were welcomed with open arms by Alister and Pat at this idyllic B&B. Tired legs and hungry bellies were soon relieved after a dreamy nights sleep and yummy cooked breakfasts with fresh eggs from their chickens. The surrounding area of Blaenau Ffestiniog makes for a spectacular sunset we were able to appreciate on our stay. We wish we could of stayed longer but will hopefully be back soon, thank you for having us Alister and Pat!

The owners are friendly but not intrusive, and a fountain of information. The room I stayed in was spotless but homely. A good hearty breakfast. The location is perfect for discovering or revisiting Snowdonia. The beaches of Criccieth & Harlech, Snowdon Mountain, the village of Beddgelert and the Aberglaslyn Pass and many stunning walks to name but a few, all but a short drive away. Overall 5/5 and a warm and kind welcome will be found at Dolowel.

Just enjoyed our 3rd stay at Dolawel, Pat & Alister were as welcoming and friendly as I remember from our previous visits. Perfect location for exploring Snowdonia, Alister's knowledge and experience of the mountains is great if you are looking for advice. Was even blessed with sunny weather for this trip. Can't recommend this lovely B&B and it's hosts enough
