Warren and Jo and the whole team have worked throughout the winter and spring to make further improvements to Calloose.
The entrance road has been resurfaced with tarmac. The shower block has been tiled and has a clean luxurious feel.
A new children's play adventure area has been built which the children all love.
There is an outdoor entertainment stage and outdoor seating with festoon lighting which provides a great atmosphere for the nightly entertainment.
The swimming pool has been totally revamped with sun terrace and glass screened observation patio which is styled in keeping with the bar patio.
Inside the club the seating has been arranged to allow social distancing and the brand new kitchen provides excellent food at a consistently high standard. No need to book anywhere else.
The bar, restaurant and shop have all been fitted with covid-safe screening and hand sanitizers are strategically placed throughout the park
The cleaning staff work throughout the day to keep the park looking immaculate
Warren and Joe show vision and passion and are committed to ensuring that everyone has a great holiday.
All the staff are welcoming and friendly. Well done and thanks for a fantastic holiday.

First time stopping here in a touring caravan, pleasantly surprised with the site, shower rooms are so modern and clean with hot water. Outdoor swimming pool is heated and no need to pre book, there’s arcades for the kids to play in and a large play area. There is evening entertainment on every night. The shop is basic with just the essentials but large supermarkets just a few miles drive away. We did find the restaurant very over priced, we went for a Sunday roast dinner, and we were served a plate each with one slice of meat, two roast potatoes and a Yorkshire pudding, and the vegetables came in a small bowl to share between 6.

Thanks for the feedback As for the overpriced Sunday roast, child portions £5.95 have 1 slice of meat. adults 2 slices £10.95 The only way you received 1 slice is if you ordered Childs portions. The vegetable come in a large dish and you can have as much as you like.

We stayed at Calloose on 23rd to 25th September. The park was clearly winding down from the season but despite this everything was still open on site.
We had been touring for about 4 days and been to three previous sites in the south of England and Cornwall. This was by far the best . It was spotlessly clean the toilet and shower blocks were so clean I even video’d it as I was so impressed. We had drinks in the bar and a meal. The fish and chips with curry sauce were to die for! The site may be a little more expensive than some others but it is well worth the small increase in costs to get bathrooms that you don’t mind using. As regular tourers will know, some bathrooms on different sites are pretty grim.

We've just got back from a few days camping. We booked last minute and hadn't come from far but we were not disappointed. We were positioned near the site entrance, away from the entertainment which was great with young children so they could get to sleep even with the outdoor entertainment in full swing.
The toilet blocks were immaculately clean and were continually checked/cleaned. Hand sanitizer was located throughout the park and was always kept topped up.
The outdoor pool was lovely and clean and warm - kids loved it.
Outdoor play area was vast and another big hit with the kids.
Everyone on the site follows the rules and there is no late night noise.
The park is very well maintained and clean.
The shop has all your essentials and is reasonably priced.
Food from restaurant is delicious and the pitch delivery service is a bonus!
We met people from all over the country and everyone was so friendly.
The only small thing would be to have a slightly later check out time - maybe 11/12 rather than 10.
Thanks for a great stay, we'll be back!

We recently stayed here for four nights and had a great time. The location is perfect for visiting various places in Cornwall and we were advised to drive to St Erth train station and get the train from there into St Ives which was great advice. The facilities were very modern and immaculate and given the size of this site (not that big), there was a lot on offer with outdoor heated pool, entertainment (only on one of the nights that we were there but I think this could be nightly in the summer months ?), games room, lots of outside picnic benches, bar, food, shop etc - been on much bigger sites with nothing like this on offer at all ! The pitch fees were of course more expensive at £37 per night but it was worth it. Would definitely return !

We hired a static caravan on site at Calloose and was not disappointed. The park is in a fab location just a few miles out of Hayle and a short car ride to Marazion, Carbis Bay & St Ives. We met many people on site that return every year but all commented on the great investment since the new owners took over. As it is out of the way, you don't get the clientele you sometimes get on sites with camping. The facilities on site are fab, they even had a guest burger van one evening that was top quality. You do need to book early for the Sunday lunch but it's well worth it for quality & portion size. We had booked and were shown to our seats; high bar stools. As my mom needs a hip replacement she wouldn't be able to sit there. Although they were fully booked they managed to seat us elsewhere, much appreciated. Only observation was the hot water in the shower sometimes went cold midflow, so we used the site shower facilities as well; which were immaculate & very high quality. The whole site was spotless & we liked their emphasis on recycling! We will return & would highly recommend 👍🏻

Amazing holiday in a central location. This is our second trip to Calloose as we were really impressed with our camping trip last year. My wife and three children aged 13, 12 and 10 thoroughly enjoyed coming here. We feel that it is a very safe campsite for the children to walk around and meet new friends as there is only one way in and out, and the nearest road is 400m away. The campsite is surrounded by hedges as well. The site is big with a lovely calm, relaxed atmosphere. We like coming here as its a central location to get to the many beeches within easy reach of the site. St Ives is a 20 minute drive, Kynance Cove and Land's End is roughly 40 minutes away.
The facilities are brilliant! The spacious shower block and cleaned regularly night and day. There is also a family shower room for families wanting to be together. The club house caters for all people and has different theme nights from the 60s through to modern music, family discos, magicians, etc. Hopefully there is something for everyone. Bingo as well was hugely popular, as is play your cards right. The bar is reasonably priced, cheaper than town prices. Food is available to 9pm. Try the steak, you won't be disappointed.
Any problems on site is delt with fairly and quickly. The people next to us were playing load music at 12 am until Warren came out to speak to them. Warren works so hard to please people. He cycles around the site several times a day and asks how your day is? Any problems. Etc.
Looking forward to our next experience at the site at the end of July, fingers crossed if the corona virus restrictions are lifted.

We stayed at Calloose Holiday Park in our touring caravan from Thursday 2nd June until Tuesday 7th.

The location of the site is great, access roads can be narrow but are very quiet and easy to navigate.

The park itself is immaculate, looks great and aptly located near popular destinations such as St Ives (25 mins) and Penzance (30 mins). The pitch we were allocated was spacious, relatively level and had independent EHU and a fresh water tap.

The site has many facilities ranging from: heated swimming pool, shop, laundrette, playground, bar & restaurant, games room, tennis court, dish washing facilities and toilet & shower blocks.

The site bar and entertainment was great over the jubilee bank holiday weekend, and we found the jubilee style ‘street party’ to be a lot of fun. It was great to see how much effort the owners (Warren and co) and staff put in to ensure that site users were having a good time. Some the entertainment over the weekend ranged from Karaoke to a Ska band. All were good fun.

The shower block was very clean and showers were pretty good but could be too hot on occasion. Sometimes they were too hot to put the little one directly under and other times they were just fine.

After the jubilee weekend the site went from being packed to virtually empty. This was not a problem for us and we found the site staff very accommodating with opening of the pool, etc. Kev was absolutely great and would stop by every time he passed for a quick chat.

We did decide to leave a day early as we had a very long drive home and wanted to break the journey up. When Warren (site owner) noticed that we were packing up early he came and checked that everything was okay. We explained that there wasn’t issues and we were simply leaving a day early to make our drive home easier.

Overall, we absolutely loved Calloose Holiday park and only wish it was closer as we would love to site our caravan there. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

If you’re looking for a lovely site in South Cornwall, keep Calloose Holiday park in mind. You won’t regret it.

First time we have ever been on a Caravan/Campsite like this but we really enjoyed ourselves. The Static was very new and absolutely spotless. Remember to bring towels, pot towels, shower gels, washing up liquid, cloths etc. if you are new to this kind of holiday like us. We were well prepared. Don't forget your swimming costume if the pool is open at the time of year you visit. We managed to get to see a lot of Cornwall from the Calloose base. All the staff we came across were lovely and helpful. We would definitely recommend this holiday site.

Calloose continues to be our site of choice and has excellent facilities for couples and families alike. There is a feeling of luxury about the place and an attention to detail which shows the commitment and enthusiasm of the owners Warren and Jo.
The site is systematically maintained by a team of groundsmen, handymen, shop and bar staff and domestic cleaners. All of these are friendly, approachable, helpful and cooperative.
There is a wide range of modern static caravans to suit a variety of needs and these are maintained to the highest standard. Touring pitches are clearly marked and have the advantage of electric hook-up. Many also have their own water tap and some hard standing.
The shower blocks and facilities are cleaned on a continuous cycle and benefited from central heating this Easter holiday.
The bar has a wide range of spirits, beers and ciders and are served in excellent condition, in a modern and luxurious setting. The outside area has a new all-weather surface ready for the outside entertainment in the warmer months.
New signage welcomes you to Calloose and a new information board clearly indicates the location of all facilities.
We have had another great holiday in our touring caravan and look forward to returning later in the year. Congratulations on having in our opinion the best site in Cornwall.
