This was our third visit to the beachfront cottage. It was exceptionally clean as per the other visits were. The grounds are pristine and the ambiance is one of the most relaxed in New Zealand. We enjoyed sunny warm days and the sea was also...More
Our third visit to Adrift, and its still the loveliest beach accommodation we have stayed in. The view has changed slightly since last time, as the two cabbage trees have died, but it is still stunning.

Thank you so much for another wonderful review! We're so happy that you're still enjoying your visits here. We're waiting in anticipation for our replacement cabbage trees to grow up as we also miss what they add to the view!
My wife and I stayed in a beach front cabin at Adrift. The entire back wall of the cabin opens up to reveal a gorgeous view of the immaculate lawn and the beach beyond. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen provided all the...More
Had an awesome stay here, the cottages are excellent and well equipped & comfortable. The Spa bath was totally relaxing. Excellent BBQ.

Had a wonderful night at adrift with my partner. It's serene and relaxing. The grounds are well looked after. And the beach is just a few steps away. (We stayed in the honeymoon suite) I have to agree with a couple of recent reviews that...More

Hi Rezruf, thanks for your question. You can fly into Nelson airport, then drive from there (1 hour 45 min drive), or you can drive directly from Christchurch. The most direct route is north to Amberly and through the Lewis Pass to Murchison. Head towards Nelson and watch for the turnoff to Motueka where you can join Highway 60 to Golden Bay. You should allow 7 hours driving time. An alternative route is to travel up the east coast to Kaikora and on to Blenheim. From here you head west to Nelson, Motueka and over the Takaka Hill to Golden Bay.
