This is the first time I have posted a review on Tripadvisor but I felt compelled as we have just returned from a wonderful two weeks at Chateau des Marais. It was our first time taking our touring caravan to Europe and I am so glad we picked this site. The journey down from Dieppe was very straightforward and the...

We had a fantastic family holiday (1 week) with Eurocamp here. Facilities were good - pools were great in the sunshine. We did have problems several days trying to get a sunbed, but this does seem to be a standard thing throughout Europe with people reserving sunbeds. Our children really loved the playgrounds, especially the small playground with sand near...

This is well set up for younger children - shallow pools (including the lazy river), lots of playgrounds scattered around etc. The shaded plots were large, though the trees meant that the mobile home decking attracted a lot of birds - and acted as their toilet. the pool area was large and we never found it busy despite it being...

Stayed here with two other families in May half term, 2015. This is a very pleasant, peaceful campsite. It is well kept and the staff are friendly. There are plenty of areas for the children to play and the pool is a real bonus. The shop and restaurant prices are reasonable. Toilet and shower facilities were good, although often ran...

The nearby Chateaux are a wonder and a delight! Great location and a perfect way to break out journey south. Admittedly it had rained the night before and the place looked like Shrek's swamp but as this was only a flying visit it did little to dampen our enjoyment

We have just Returned from a tour around France and this was our last campsite.we travelled with eurocamp and have been at this site before and found it a little boring for us,but it is close to Calais for return leg. On both occasions we have found the restaraunt to be sadly lacking - very mediocre - and expensive for...

We spent 2 nights on our way further south with Eurocamp in a 2 bed Espirit model. The site itself is ideal for visiting Chambord and the surrounding areas, with some beautiful scenery. The site is one of the smallest we have visited with Eurocamp and whilst this was fine for a couple of nights there weren't enough facilities for...

We stayed here as a couple in our towing caravan for 4 nights. We arrived after reception was closed but our information was easily left for us to find. We had been allocated a pitch but advised we could choose another pitch if we wanted to, which we did simply because we wanted a little more peace. pitches are spacious...

We have loved this campsite and have stayed multiple times with our children (now teens). The positives: • The pitches are spacious, well looked after and clean, with good grass cover and hedges separating them. • The pool is a big hit with the kids – especially the lazy river. It’s large enough to generally not feel too crowded. •...

Dear family, Thank you for taking time to write comentaries. The gardeners are doing everything to offer you beautiful pitches. This year, they have cut some dead trees for the customers security. In July and August, the 4 sanitary facilities are open but no on low season. For the swimming pool, the temperature is between 27 and 28 degrees, a...

I brought my 2 young children here last summer as I'd found a discount for early September. We got the ferry to Bruges and drove about 4 hours through Paris to get to the Loire Valley. We stayed in one of the 2 treehouses on site and had a fantastic time. The treehouse itself was kitted out with everything we...
