Jane and John's hotel proved perfect as a cozy, comfortable overnight in front of a planned bicycle ascent of the Col du Tourmalet from nearby Luz-St. Saveur. They are consummate hosts and very attentive to their guests needs. Reservations were made via email quickly and easily. Dinner on arrival was delicious as was the next morning's breakfast. The church bells... More

Saint Savin is a little village at the top of a hill in the Pyrenees, excellent quiet destination for a cycling holiday, which is what we were doing. John and Jane have done a lot of work on their older style hotel, but it remains that, so if you need lots of space in your room to move about, might... More

We had a big room (for 4 ), very clean and good views. Everything is nice in this hotel the location in the village, the warm welcoming (in english of course), the breakfast with homemade bananacake. A very good address in the Argelès area.

An overnight stay in June 2016 in this quiet village. Friendly hosts, clean room, great view. Evening meal was a fixed menu, disappointing quality. Good buffet breakfast. Suitable for an overnight stop.

We decided to stay at Les Rochers after reading reviews about this hotel, particularly about how friendly the owners are. To be honest, we couldn't have felt more unwelcome and in the way from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Seeing one of the owners with other guests it appears if you are middle aged, English, Irish... More

We stayed with John and Jane with our three kids during a summer trip to the Pyrenees. It was amazing. Not only did it feel like home, it felt like staying with old friends (who were really good cooks as well). I can't say enough good things about this place - the village is really nice and cute, the location... More

Stayed for 5 nights to cycle in the Pyrennes. Perfect location for all the great climbs (Tourmalet, Aubisque, Hautacam etc) in a beautiful village just outside Argeles Gazost. Amazing value for money, really comfortable rooms, brilliant food and incredibly attentive and charming owners. Good cycling facilities too - so all in all could not recommend more highly.

Stayed at Les Rochers for a four day cycling trip in the Pyrenees. Excellent location to cover all the major cols of the region (Aubisque, Tourmalet, Aspin, Spandelles, Hautacam, Luz Ardiden, Tentes, etc). Service tremendous - John and Jane know what cyclists need. Food out of this world (evening meals were an absolute treat) and perfectly set up for cyclists.... More

Last summer in August my room had a view of the Pyrenees. The hotel is spotlessly clean and lovingly managed. The food is delicious. I stayed for 10 days and have reserved again for this summer. I can't wait to go back!

Lovely hotel, in a stunning location, great value for money and very good food, would definitely recommend it and it's in a good spot whether you're walking, cycling or visiting places such as Lourdes.
