The booking process was easy and when we arrived we were warmly welcomed and told that we had been given the room with a view which we had requested. The room was well furnished with a large terrace overlooking the park and a charming and spotlessly clean bathroom. the welcome bottle of champagne set the mood for our celebration and... More

A lovely and romantic country hotel, typically Provencal, with rooms in style, elegant, large, comfortable and very clean. The restaurant and the service are excellent and ideal for a romantic dinner.

I'm almost reluctant to write this review in order not to turn this lovely place into mainstream tourist spot, but it would be unfair to the hotel staff. We really enjoyed relaxed and an authentic atmosphere of the hotel, friendly service and the gourmet dinner. Definitely will stay there again. A bientôt

Having discovered this gem by chance when driving down to the South of France, we were so impressed we stayed on the way back too. An oasis of good service and super food with an excellent wine list.Don't bother with the cheapest wines, ask for advice and you won't be disappointed. Standard rooms were excellent enough.

The church always understood about location and great buildings and this old monastery is worth the drive for lunch or dinner or better still stay the night. We came here for lunch on the 3rd November 2014 with two friends to celebrate her birthday. The excellent set lunch menus are priced at €33 €65 €85.....only go for the €85 if... More

This quite an isolated site, but very nice especially in the summer, very pleasant gardens with a pool, nice to relax in. The large bedeoom was comfortable, the bathroom could have been better appointed, no separate shower, and no screen on the bath, the shower hose was only really to rinse hair, not to shower with. There ws noq soap... More

We have been coming to this hotel for thirty years and have seen it change from being a delightful country hotel to a rather formal sophisticated hotel. The girls on Reception were efficient but unsmiling; the bedrooms are fabulous; the meal ( overseen by an officious maître d, ) was presented in a formal manner..there was no fun involved, although... I'm very shocked that this is a 3 star hotel cause I've been to plenty of 4 star hotels worse than this. Of course the hotel isn't perfect and I only stayed there for one night but there were no problems, breakfast was good and the room was very cool.

Despite being very close to the motorway and an industrial zone, the hotel is tucked into a nice private garden with nice surroundings. The junior suite was recently renovated and quite nice. However it was rather noisy as just above the restaurant which you also needed to cross in the evening to get back to the room. Whilst they try... More

After reading the negative comments posted recently, I wondered whether they referred to the same place, as our personal experience was quite different: friendly staff, gourmet dinner (Menu du Colombier 53 Euro) indicating that a creative Chef is at work in the kitchen, quiet night, again a friendly welcome at breakfast. It is true that the place is rather on... More
