Great central position, in centre of town, new to restaurants. Parking on forecourt was convenient but the passing traffic was rather noisy. Good location for driving holiday through France, and a nice traditional French village.

Dear Madam and Sir, Thank you for your encouragements. Our medieval city is indeed paved, which makes a bit noisy the passage of cars in the day, very fortunately absent at night in our small town. We hope that it does not have too much at night in your stay and that you appreciated the medieval city and our support....

Great place to stop for a night. The staff were friendly & very helpful, the rooms were comfortable & quiet. The hotel is located in the heart of the village. We were, however, lucky to have one of the very few parking spots the hotel had to offer.

... the desk is not staffed 24 hours a day. Normally, this might not be a problem (as guests have keys and there's even a high-tech registration machine for late arrivals), but if something goes wrong it can take a while to fix it. Last night, what went wrong was a power shut off. I don't know how long it...

Stopped here with some friends on a cycling holiday from Paris to Geneva. Great hotel, excellent position in the town. Rooms just brilliant after a long day cycling, very comfy beds.. Secure storage for the bikes was provided. We booked 11 rooms, and had 22 very happy cyclists....

Nice small hotel located just across the street from the windy cobbled streets of the town centre. Our room (no. 102) was rather large with a small balcony. The decor was nothing fancy, but the bathroom was modern and clean. The room was facing a street with a lot of through traffic, but using the shutters we were not annoyed...

Desk and door closed when we arrived in the afternoon, but the automated entry system worked well with the pre-booking info. Room was a little small, but very clean with a nice bathroom. Hotel is conveniently situated in the town centre. Correct price/quality ratio.

My other stay here was in the 1980s, so not a frequent guest! Now it is a much made-over but basically very old hotel, mentioned in the first Michelin Guide, of 1901! No restaurant now, but very modern rooms, comfortable and efficiently run. Try to get quiet room, the ones overlooking the cobbled road outside are noisy.

Lovely rooms, helpful staff, absolutely perfect location and wonderful view..especially Room 103. Would always stay here if I return. The town is also beautiful and a great size for exploring. It has many excellent restaurants as well.

Short-hair, no-nonsense cute hotel manager was cool - helped us get reservations at the right place. This is actually a really ROMANTIC hotel, complete with the best petit dejeuner. Perfect location. Get up early in the morning to get a view of medieval town while everyone still sleeping. We biked from Paris - Chablis - Semur en Auxois - Beuane...

Just stayed one night in this lovely hotel. I had room 102 which has a small balcony. My colleague had Room 103 which is more like an apartment! You actually have a bathroom bed etc all on one level and then go down some stairs to your shower! Really quaint. Small bar area with plenty of choice. Breakfast had plenty...
