This is such a great place - from the moment you walk in, it feels very peaceful and tranquil. It was so quiet and lovely here and yet you are only about a 15 min walk from the busy and noisy area of Chaweng beach. Plenty of restaurants, fruit stands, supermarkets, and massage places right outside the door.
The staff were amazing! Everyone is very hard working and they go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need. Breakfast had good food and great coffee. The room was spacious with a beautiful outdoor bench. Nice bathroom as well and the air con worked great. The beach and pool area were fabulous! Love how the lounge chairs are set-up for perfect people watching.

The only thing that was a problem for me was the wifi. I was working during my stay and the signal would often drop off or be very slow. There was no connection by the pool. If you need to make conference calls from your room, you will have to get creative with the space since there is no desk or chair to facilitate this.

Would come back here with pleasure!

I spent an amazing week at this hotel. It’s located on a quiet stretch of beach at the southern end of Chewang so it’s a nice reprieve from the hustle of central Chewang. It’s a nice leisurely walk up the beach to the central area so it’s conveniently located. There are planets of shops and restaurants within walking distance as well.

The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is quite good and is served until 10:30am daily.

The set up near the beach and pool are great. There are plenty of loungers with umbrellas and covered gazebos to chill in. Everything is on a raised platform and not directly on the sand.

We will definitely return here.

Having just returned home from our 3rd trip to the beautiful island of Koh Samui I had to write my first ever review.

Staying in the quiet side of Chaweng beach but a short taxi ride to the main area. Via Expedia.
The hotel has many wonderful restaurants within walking distance. Including the one opposite Noi , Melee Kitchen and many many more. The poolside bar has a good choice of local food and fries etc we had lunch most days . Breakfast buffet and egg station very good with staff soon knowing our favourite hot drinks and how you like your eggs etc . Hotel and rooms kept really clean and hand sanitizer at restaurant and reception. Could use one at pool bar to use before eating but rooms all close by so if you want to pop back to room no problem.

Hotel is small which we like as no hustle for space around pool or it’s beautiful clean beach. You also get to know the staff really well . The staff here are amazing from the pool bar ( excellent cocktails) to the girls in the breakfast area . Cleaners ,grounds and reception staff all with warm smiles . One giving our 4 year old granddaughter small gifts every day of bracelets hair clips and chocolate. Made her stay truly special.

The grounds are well kept and the beach is truly gorgeous. The pool is lovely although quite hard to get in and out of if like us you are over 50 or have mobility problems . Steep steps to get in and out. Love the little huts which give shade but at the moment have bean bags which for the young without mobility problems are fine but quite hard to get up from. I did say to the manager might be an idea to give a choice of a lounger or bean bag . I had to ask for a chair as I had trouble keep getting up from the floor.

Other then this we a party of 6 including three 30 years old a 4 year old and two over fifty had a truly fantastic holiday here with wonderful helpful staff . One even left the hotel to source an ice cream for our granddaughter . Would highly recommend.

This small resort was good for us as we got to know staff by name. Ben did a great job at breakfast each morning welcoming us with a smile and later in the day mixed great cocktails around pool. Yok was always happy and worked really hard around the pool area bringing drinks and food always with a massive smile. Nam was always so polite, cheerful and helpful whenever we saw her. The whole staff was great including reception and cleaning.
We feel that these three are a huge asset to the resort
We stayed in room 888, upstairs overlooking pool and beach. Great situation with jacuzzi and small deck, however our 2 negatives was that:
The room key also activated all electrics- a/c, fridge, lights. When we went out and locked room all the above turned off meaning drinks warmed in fridge and room was not cool to return to
Bathroom had poor lighting being at rear of the room and didn’t get any natural light. A bit of general maintenance would be good.
We have been to Chaweng 8 times before a knew the location which suited us. Quiet, not too far from nightlife and good restaurants close by and good swimming in front of resort.

Really good hotel with lovely staff, nice pool and next to the sea.
We stayed here for 2 weeks and honestly it was so good.
Remember to visit Noi Resturant opposite the hotel which do the best Thai food I ever had in Thailand and young lady there speak very good English and ask her for recommendations (Pad Thai and Green Curry were mine )
If you looking for some where nice and quiet and very close to the centre this is the right place for you to stay.
Breakfast staff Pom and Neow were so nice and made us great breakfast every day so 😋
Thank you so much for such great experience and we can not wait to come back here again 🙏

The hotel is quite beautiful and located at a very nice beach of Koh Samui. Room was big enough but with very little space to place luggage which was a bit annoying. Also, there was a very dirty and uncomfortable sofa which had no use. But everything was lovely enough until I had to pay which really made me mad. They state everywhere that they accept Amex but they don't. We chose the hotel specifically for this and on Booking.com and on their terms and conditions. And yet they didn't offer any remedy or discount. Instead I had to incur fees I otherwise wouldn't. The receptionist/manager, Yui, was not a very pleasant host. Expressionless and antagonistic which is a first as all the other hospitality people on my trip that I encountered were lovely to say the least.

We had an amazing time at Kirikayan! The beach is superb, with white sand and wonderful, crystal water. Our room was big and very comfortable, with a private jacuzzi on the balcony.
Service is excellent, with every staff member looking to assist and please us at every moment.
Very close to good restaurants, shops and massage places. Taxi to busiest areas very convenient.
We organized many fun tours and adventures to know better the surroundings, even if the beach of Kirikayan really is a gem!

Where do I begin?

We stayed here during our stay in Koh Samui (first time) and were impressed by the internet reviews and photos. It's about 15mins from the Airport so it's not far. The surrounding streets neat the resort is full of restaurants, travel agencies (to book your day trips), mini bars, massage parlours and street markets. There is plenty to do with no noise disturbances! It's only a 10/15min walk from the main centre of the city too.

The design of the hotel is just fantastic, you really do feel like it is luxury. The pool is a bit small but great and the beach front access is a dream. You can wake up in the morning and lay right on the beach with the hot Samui sun on your body. The rooms are luxury with excellent Thai decor. We had the duplex room which is two floors high and has a great bath tub inside. The showers are great and bed so comfortable. The view from the balcony of the duplex rooms is very refreshing. You could stay in the room all day and still feel like you are on vacation on an amazing Thai island.

But it is the staff that make this hotel as amazing as it is; Yui, Ning, Ta, Lay, Ith, Au, Koy and Lay (these are only a few). These guys deserve the customer service award for best customer service ever. And it is for that reason I will be coming back to this hotel when I next visit Koh Samui.

Stay here! I know I will be back...

I have traveled to many destinations in Thailand on many occasions ( Samui 3 times) and this was by far the best hotel I have stayed at. The staff were amazing, rooms clean, excellent size ( I had extra bed and still enough of room that 2 teenagers and 1 adult didn't fall over each other! ) well appointed ( King bed ) and free wi-fi was great for the kids. My friends had smaller rooms ( 2 ppl i each) but still good size.
After being greeted by some beautiful friendly smiles and a smooth check in we were shown through a garden sided pathway to our rooms.
Our rooms located on the ground floor and close to the pool. The pool is beautiful, not huge but a good size and always a good alternative to the beach the fronts the resort. It has a swim up bar and snacks can also be purchased. You have a choice (if vacant) of a sun lounge on the deck surrounding the pool or a lounge on the sand. Fresh beach towels are supplied by resort. There are heaps of food vendors and sales people who walk the beach so there is never any problem of going hungry :-)
The resort also boasts several massage huts or you can wander along the beach and take your pick from any number of huts there (usually cheaper on the beach).
Kirikayan is about 10 - 15 mins walk from the nightlife or a shorter taxi ride and therefore we found no late night noise to disturb sleep quality. Even in the morning the kids would sleep til about 9 without any disturbance.
Our package included a buffet breakfast. There was always a great variety of foods eg, eggs cooked to your liking, bacon, ham sausages, tomatoe, potatoes, fruit, salads and changing asian dishes every morning. Oh and Mae, great waitress who would always humour and serve us with great happiness! Most nights we ate out but did eat at the restaurant once and food was delicious. There are a number of restaurants close by and so many more within walking distance. I can recommend at least one meal on a beachside restaurant, the atmosphere is amazing and you select what seafood you want cooked.
There are many tour operators but we found the best office to book from was just across the road and a little to the right from Kirikayan. I have included a photo.
Some tours to see is the Maenam safari park, take a boat trip (speed boat) to the national park and be sure to walk to see the crater/lagoon at Mae Koh Island ( the effort is worth it )
An island tour in a private car is best way to see what you want, they will take you where you want and you can stop as long as you like at places. The night market and fishermans market at Bhoput.
A big thank you to Dew, Alice and in the restaurant Mae for their friendliness and excellent service. They we amazing in their assistance and just made our holiday that extra bit special!
We have recommended this hotel to friends who have booked for this year. We will reuturn here again in July 2012. This was my kids first O/S trip and they could not stop talking about this resort.

Do NOT stay here. We booked 2 rooms, more than a month in advance. Only to arrive on Valentines Day to a "sorry, we didn't get your reservation." Even after we provided the printed out reservations. The front desk 'manager' said she didnt have any more rooms because they were over-booked. Typical book up early, but resell higher. Very bad experience.
