The hotel is extremely clean and tidy in what ever areas you walk every corner is well maintained. The staff are extremely friendly and warm always happy to help us at first hand. Even if you need anything in the room in the middle of the night they would run and get you most happily within 5 minutes and that too with a smile. Breakfasts are 7 star rating with different varieties everyday and everything is fresh for example they had an Indian corner, Italian food, Thai curries,Chinese food and the hot English breakfast, variety of fresh fruits and endless different things, we were so impressed. Their Italian restaurant Prego next to the hotel does amazing food too. The location is so centre that you can virtually walk and get everywhere. We have been staying in this Hotel for the last 6 years but this time it was at its best in terms of cleanliness. We met the General Manager Mr Rudd who was soooo friendly and warm and made us feel so comfortable and spent some time with us every morning. He has such a lovely personality and asked us if we ever needed anything or if we have been ok at the hotel, I have never met anyone like him, this is from the bottom of my heart. This being my first time back to Koh Samui since Covid restricted travel I was unsure how much the tourism industry might have been impacted. However, despite it being quieter than in the past it was still great to be back. I stayed at the Amari Koh Samui and I cannot fault the hotel. A great location - quiet but within easy walking distance to the Hussle and bustle. Great pools and access to beach - lots of loungers - it was not an issue to secure one. I stayed on the Garden Wing across the road from main reception - although you had to cross a road to get to main part of hotel, the crossing was always manned by the security staff enabling people to cross safely. The room was very spacious (pool view) and very relaxing to sit on the balcony in the evenings. Breakfast had lots of choice and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Had dinner and drinks in Prego's on two occasions and would recommend. The staff there, in particular Nok and Karen were very welcoming. Definitely recommend a stay at the Amari Koh Samui - staff and location are great.

Absolutely fantastic hotel with wonderful staff a beautiful beach and a perfect pool. When we first arrived we were given a room that overlooked the Italian restaurant next door there was very loud however four days later they moved us to another family suite which was much better and over the pool to the rear of the site. The main pool and restaurant area by the beach is beautiful with fantastic sunrise if you get up early enough. The staff were extremely helpful and we found the food to be very good although quite expensive within the hotel so would recommend going into town to eat. Overall it was a brilliant hotel and we couldn't recommend it highly enough especially with the young children.

Beach here is unusable filthy full of plastic and oil breakfast also poor quality bacon and beans were cold ! And cofee disgusting should not be rated as a five star hotel Very disappointed as stayed in amari in krabi and it was far More superior

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay at Amari Koh Samui. Our aim is to exceed our guests’ expectations, we sincerely apologize we fell short in certain areas of your stay in particular your experience with the beach cleanliness during your stay. It appeared to be an oil spill affecting the Chaweng side of Samui during that period which was unfortunate. We had increased our beach cleaning efforts to 4 times daily. As currents and sea conditions have changed, we can assure that things have further improved since. All feedback is extremely important to us as they assist my team with an ongoing opportunity to improve our product and services. I will be sharing your feedback with my team so that we can address the issues. It was rather surprising to read your comments about our breakfast which I have shared with our Chef and his team for further fine tuning. We use high quality bacon which is baked in the over at 200 degrees for 10-13 minutes for a crispy result while for the soft bacon we cook it for 7-10 minutes. For bakes beans we use electric food warmers to keep at a consistent temperature not lower than 65 degrees Celsius. We like to thank you for bringing this to my attention to ensure we can further improve our product and services. Please accept our apologies for your less than perfect stay and thank you for your valuable feedback. We would welcome the opportunity to have you visit the property again and give us the chance to better serve you next time.

Ignore this property only for core reason the staff Amari is a good property strategically located in koh samui just 1 km away for the happening area But ppl ignore this property for mail 3 reasons 1) day one in the morning we were sleeping the room service staff simply entered the room without permission 2) the entire staff (except front desk and pool side restaurant ) are not bothered about guest while we were sitting at pool around 6.45 pm the pool attendant just picked up towels without even saying or anything 3) last day of checkout we had been to the full moon party we requested the staff to either give us 1 hour extension for checkout or charge us for half day extension But in the mrng these ppl started calling form 12 pm empty the room empty the room and even sent staff from coincerge Mr Rut whose body language was so ruff that he would have hit us and best part that person is challenging us if you can afford pay for one more day and stay in the room When bought this to notice of on duty manager Miss Liu se literally defended her staff and making false claims that she was not informed and in lobby guest are waiting and shouting for rooms when check in time is 2pm Guys if you want to get yourself embarrassed after paying a huge sum for think of your vacation will be peaceful Ignore this property !!!!!!!

Our aim is to exceed our guests’ expectations, we sincerely apologize we fell short in certain areas of your stay in particular your experience with your departure. Following our investigations, we concluded that it was mentioned several times to you that our check out time is officially noon, as our resort was running very high occupancy we obviously needed to prepare the room on time for our next guest and were therefore not able to provide you a later check out. Even though you finally left at 1.18pm well beyond the time given. We also understand you returned the same morning from your long and late full moon event at Koh Phangnan for which we are sure you enjoyed and needed a rest, hence our apologies for not being able to provide you the room any longer. We do have an airconditioned lounge however, which you could have used free of charge for the rest of the afternoon. I am sure most of our well travelled guests would understand and respect such policies. Based on majority of our reviews you can witness our staff is very polite and scores very high when it comes to friendliness and courteousness, they are certainly not trained to shout as you falsely claimed. However, it appeared to be the contrary when you insisted on your late check out and were unable to receive this, you appeared to be impolite when speaking to our staff while raising your voice in our public area to be heard and to intimidate our reception employees, which clearly cannot be tolerated. We like to thank you for mentioning that Amari is good property with excellent location however.

Stayed here for 10 days after a week in the Amari Phuket, on comparison a few differences with Staff issues. First of all the Amari Chaweng- the good bits, location is good just a short walk to the busy town area, beach is OK sea water appears clearer around the corner, beach is daily cleaned of seaweed washed up on beach by next door hotel but not the Amari. Pools are good and clean, breakfast good amazing choice and polite helpful staff. Rooms spacious and comfy bed. Negative side-on arrival our Rep booked us in as we sat just in front of reception desk, no hello or welcome from staff, passport and credit card handed over by Rep and room key passed to us by rep. They forgot to give us back our passports and credit card, so I asked reception staff for them and they just plonked to the reception desk and walked of talking to each other and on there mobile phones, still no welcome. First night restless disturbed late night due to noisy neighbours above us, reported this to reception next day and they moved us later that day. New room-bathroom dirty, long strands of dark hair and old residue of used bath water left in the bath. Reported to reception no apology but stated will be cleaned immediately, we had to remind reception twice the NEXT day to finally get it resolved. Your daily walk past reception for breakfast, no good morning from reception staff unlike the Phuket Amari, if they were not seeing to a customer they would be just standing around talking to each other. WC broke twice in our room, not blocked just the push button. On check out, no enquiry did you enjoy your stay from reception staff just took our keys and of we went. All in all this place is very good, all the other staff were great welcoming and polite but not reception staff, the first people you meet and gave a very bad first impression of the Amari.

Stayed here for 2 weeks with my partner and 2 boys aged 19 and 20. Upon arrival we were shown to our rooms, we were not happy as they had no view but the rooms were amazing. We spoke to the manager wee who promptly moved us to a suite room overlooking the pool , we were so happy with the hotel and the room . The staff at the hotel were all so friendly and helpful nothing was too much for them . The food at the hotel was fabulous, breakfast was included and the choice was excellent, from full English breakfast to Indian breakfast or Thai breakfasts. The hotel is a short walk from the centre and is located on the beach . It is a quiet hotel and I would highly recommend this hotel . We will be coming back to Ko sumi and we will definitely be staying here again .

The hotel offers the most amazing breakfast ever. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The stay met our expectations and was very relaxing. The happy hour every day included cocktails which was lovely. Prego Italian restaurant is across the road and definitely worth a visit.

The hotel is very nice but the quality of the towels and the quality of the showers and toilets is not so good The location of the hotel is good. is very. Good attitude, good breakfast The showers have a bad smell of sewage all the time. The electrical sockets are really bad and very difficult to use
