Great location and a wonderful welcome ,we stayed for 10 nights and it was positioned for easy access to everywhere in Chaweng.
The hotel atmosphere is fine, the pool also very clean, hotels restaurant food is very good.
Check in and check out was speedy.
Clean hotel providing a good package of services in reasonable price, definitely try hotels own massage at the beach, the ladies are great there, and professionals.
Breakfast was good, not lots of choices, but everything is fresh and tasty and the staff were very helpful. Special thanks to Khun Tuk Tuk and Job.
Hotel have a great helpful smiling staff, we asked a few topper for the bed and they provide them in 15 minutes.

Even the hotel is a bit run down in some places, our Ocean side room on 3 floor was as new – very spacious, modern, very bright and lots of light, clean, lots of storage space, and well provisioned with fresh towels and toiletries, what was supplemented daily. Hotel cleaning works perfectly, every day our room was cleaned quickly and efficiently. We were very, very pleased, special thanks to Ratri, You are so lovely and helpful.
We also LOVED the system, that You can leave your beach towels in the basket outside Your room for cleaning staff to change them.
Impeccable AC, consistent wifi. TV is big enough.

If you wish to have a real peaceful time, ask room at higher floor, 3 or 4, - first night we had it at the 1 floor, and it wasn’t so bright and You cannot open the curtains properly, as the other guests walking by,- and close to the ocean, as the rooms close to the street can be very noisy. Hotel have a reggae bar in one side, and almost every night there was loud noise, music, singing even at three or four a clock in the morning, and if You want to go sleep earlier, is simply impossible. Also at the other side is irish pub, and when they have live music, sounds are heard as a cacophony. It was hard to understand how it’s even possible that the reggae bar what's right next to the hotel can even be in operation, because it makes a terrible noise at the night time and interferes with customers' sleep.

Great hotel split between the beach side and the lake side. We were located on the lake side and with hindsight would have paid the extra to be at the beach side, although this didn't spoil our holiday one bit.
The staff at the hotel work tirelessly to ensure you're totally looked after and always with smile!
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, with a varied selection of options. Both pools were always clean and well maintained, plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Good location situated right on the beach road, plenty of shops, bars and restaurants located close by. The hotel is situated approx. 10 min walk south of the main Chewang beach shopping area.
Great beach with white sand and crystal clear water. Drinks and food at the hotel were very reasonably priced with a good varied selection.
Will definitely return in the future, couldn't fault the place.

We stayed at the Chaba Samui hotel during February & we were very happy with it, we were in the Lakeside building for the majority of the time where the room was spacious & very comfortable, there was a little noise from the road but not enough to bother us. After a problem with a pipe leaking above us we were quickly relocated to the Ocean building, the room wasnt as big but was fine. The hotel is kept immaculately clean & the staff are very friendly & efficient always greeting you with a smile. The breakfast is very good with an excellent selection, something to suit everyone. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Our favourite hotel in Samui as it’s so nice, staff are friendly, it’s in a great location and such good value. Rooms are a good size with a nice balcony and small but good bathroom. You have everything you need from bathrobes and slippers to hairdryer, fridge and tea and coffee making items.
Breakfast is not the fanciest but has everything you need including an egg station with the best made poached eggs ever. Food in the hotel is delicious so good for lunch and dinner. Prices for food and drinks are not expensive so no need to leave the hotel to get better prices. Cocktails and wine are both great.
Location is amazing as in the main area of Chaweng with a beautiful big pool right on the beach, however far enough away from crazy bit to still be quiet and relaxing.
Staff are so friendly thanks to Kae, Job, Pancake and Bee for looking after us so well. Special mention to reception staff who are great- One and (Mo?) for taking us to the airport herself when our booked car for stuck in a traffic jam. Can’t wait to come back.

We had an unforgettable holiday in Koh Samui, the staff at Chaba Samui were excellent, they even baked me a cake for my birthday and made me feel very special.
The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff cannot do enough. The location is lovely right on the beach with massage station very close to the hotel.

We have stayed at Chaba Samui about 8 times. The resort was sold in December 2022 and I'm not sure if its the same . Completely new staff exept JOB who we have know for years and him with his new colleagues Kay and Pancake, looked after us well at the pool / beach. There is no longer a Happy Hour which is disappointing. I had a really nice welcome with a birthday cake but that was our only positive experience with reception. No one took much notice of you and when we checked out we were shocked to be presented with our bill on a calculator! No breakdown of daily charges , no question of did you enjoy your stay and no interest if we had transport. Staff at the this resort were our friends and you were treated like family but no more (apart from the afternoon beach staff and the breakfast guy who is married to Nadia (who used to work there)) Seen the new owner many times but he does not interact with any of his customers. I will probably still go back as we love the hotel and the area, hopefully the other staff will improve over time. Job, Kay and Pancake are great and deserve all the praise.

We loved, loved, LOVED this hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone I know.
The location is perfect. You have a great pool then a couple of steps from the pool you have the beach, with loungers if that is your preferred choice. Pool bar was great for tasty snacks and drinks.
The breakfast was great. Not a vast selection as in other hotels but it did cover all the basis with a good selection, egg station, fresh fruit and continental, perfect. We were happy with it and also tasty coffee.
The room was immaculate with a great shower, large comfy bed and balcony.
The location was ideal for the local bars. Shops and restaurants all in easy walking distance including the large mall and street market.
This hotel has amazing staff. Very friendly and they go the extra mile to make you welcome. Special mention to Tuk Tuk and Job who looked after us at the pool.
We were sad to leave and look forward to staying again.

It was great returning to the Chaba after 4 years. Was glad to see that it had not changed too much. The rooms are lovely and large. Beachfront is perfect. The staff were still so friendly and helpful. Amazingly some of them still remembered us. Great location. This is the only hotel I would stay at in Chaweng. Sadly, things were a bit quiet out on the street so you had to venture a bit further to get the variety of restaurants and shopping. So much was closed. Things were starting to show signs of picking up. A credit to the owners and staff. Thank you for another great stay.

We didn’t stay at the hotel, but we were using the beach restaurant. Great service from the Manager, Tom, and his crew. They arranged sun chairs and good service.
Sitting at the sun beds and eating great Thai food from the kitchen prepared from a good chef!
Relaxing atmosphere

There is one lane road between Lake and Ocean Building. Even the beach is on the Ocean Building side, it is still convenient for all guests to reach its beachfront.

Hello, We didn't have any problems with noise. We was on 4th floor on the beach wing. Doors and windows keeps any noise away. The nearest bars like the Duke you can hear it far away.
