Excellent help from reception from pick up service to taxis or advice.
Ning in particular was so very kind to my 5 year old son who figured out how to call reception from our room.
No matter how frequently he did she was always happy to say hi, the other staff at reception and the pool/restaurant area were very kind too.
That makes for a very pleasant stay.
It’s got a beautiful location and excellent value for money, my mother stayed at an expensive resort near by and we could barely get any service when we visited.

Forewarning, ask your driver to stop at a supermarket or similar as the pandemic has hit Chaweng Beach Road, including convenience stores. Nearest is a 500m walk one way.

Pools always clean and the resort was busy, but never felt crowded.

I had worked in the resort industry in SE Asia for 5-6 years pre pandemic and applaud the level of hospitality provided despite Samui’s struggles.

Best bang for buck I’ve had in a long time.

We walked in off the street as we arrived 3 days earlier to koh samui.
They offered us a better rate than the internet (due to C-19).
We looked at a pool view family room and it was lovely.
Nice and quiet in the morning and evening,
Rooms cleaned regularly, 2 free bottles of water daily and toiletries supplied. Seperate pool and room towels supplied.
Breakfast was great with lots to choose from, buffet style 1 day and then 90% of the buffet served directly to table for 2 days (due to C-19 again (hotel complying with regs).
Restaurant and drinks were pricey but food was amazing for the 1 meal we had there.
Pool was clean and plenty shade.
Beach that this hotel was on is nice but abit wavey and lots of non harmful jelly fish on thr shore line.
Plenty restaurants and bars near hotel.
Would stay again.
Also a gym on site a library and a kids club for very small children.

We have stayed at this beautiful resort three times now and we won’t go anywhere else. The staff are very friendly and always helpful. We stayed all three times in a garden bungalow which is gorgeous. The rooms are cleaned daily and linen changed. The entire resort is clean and the grounds are beautifully maintained. We have stayed at many high pricey resorts throughout the world and this one beats all of them for atmosphere, cleanliness, quality of food and staff. Can’t wait until we can go there again!

I stayed one week at this hotel and found it to be nice and a good value.
Positives:
Friendly English speaking front desk staff. Additionally, the cleaning and breakfast staff were all nice as well.
The location is nice due to the hotel being on the beach and recliners and umbrellas are setup for use, free of charge.
The location is bit isolated from many restaurants and coffee shops but within twenty minute walking distance.
The room is spacious and clean.
The room has a big screen TV, safe, fridge and sandals.
The grounds are beautifully landscaped and kept up.

Negatives:
The room I had was on the road side and it's loud all day and a good portion of the night due to the traffic going by.
Shower water temperature is not consistent it fluctuates constantly into unbearably hot territory.
WIFI is so-so, but adequate.
The fitness center is basically useless.

We stayed with our 22 month old son so the kids rooms was great for him when we needed to get out of the sun. They also supplied a crib which he liked (although we had packed our own). If the weather is poor (wind and rain) the beach disappears but there is a large pool (3 separate adjoining pools). However, you had to reserve chairs by the pool and beach early by putting your towels down. This wasn't an issue for us as we were always up early with our son but could be for others. The breakfast was pretty good, lots of options for a free buffet. The staff was great, very friendly and good English. The room was very large and the beds were comfy. Happy hour every day featured half price cocktails. The food at the restaurant wasn't as good as other places nearby. Location was great, lots of great restaurants to choose from and there's a 711 right next door.

We stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. We wanted to stay longer, but they were fully booked. The beach is amazing for swimming and playing in the waves. The south end of Chaweng gets nice waves, where the northern beaches do not.

The staff was super helpful and were able to give us two cottages next to each other, as we were traveling with my wife's parents for her father's birthday. The cottages are clean, quiet and the beds surprisingly comfortable. I say this because many times the beds in Asian hotels can be too firm. These were perfect.

The team working on the beach was always friendly and willing to get extra beach loungers out if all were occupied and set up umbrellas for us each day. We enjoyed the restaurant also, as it sits directly in front of the beach. The fresh fruit at the breakfast buffet was great. Also an advantage was that the entire staff spoke english, so communicating was easy. They helped us park our rental car each day as well. I needed to have some shorts mended and the kind lady at reception took them to a local tailor for me, who did an a great job.

We will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.

Like many hotels in Chaweng, this one is showing some signs of aging on the surface and could use a bit of TLC like paint and repairs. I hope the owners know they have a gem here and will continue to invest in maintenance, as we really enjoyed the property.

The 6 day stay was quite nice ,we were offered a discount since it was low season. The rooms were spacious & well equipped also a jug . Very close to 7/11 , restaurant shops & transport up town. The beach is clean easy swimming in the blue water. There is also good shade on beach.
Breakfast was adequate & a meal at night on the deck over looking the ocean was lovely with the sun slowly setting in the west .
We had some problems with the aircon & it was fixed straight away .staff were all friendly and polite. I would recommend this accommodation but if you are into late night partying it not the right place.

Have you ever been to Benidorm? Then you have been here. I by no means claim to be a spiritual traveller but by the clientele at this hotel made me hate myself.

The food is mundane and average, the drinks are watered down and expensive. The beach area is minuscule so everyone crams at the pool.

If you came to see Thailand go somewhere else.

Excellent value in a good spot on the beach. All the Thais have been friendly and helpful - but staff here took it to the next level making for a great stay - from setting up sun loungers on the beach to food / drink service. Good bungalows with all the facilities necessary and very clean with again friendly and efficient cleaning. Only negative was the amount of rubbish on the beach (not just at the Cove) which some places cleared intermittently. Just a 20 min walk or short taxi ride to the centre - but plenty of bars / restaurants etc. right outside as well (would recommend the Bamboo Bar for snacks and cocktails).

Overall, a good place. The property was nice, everything felt safe, and it was easy to relax by the pool or the beach. The breakfast was pretty good. They have an industrial Nespresso machine, which was nice. You can get a good cappuccino at breakfast. What wasn't so good was the promised free airport shuttle. They tried to tell me that, well, there isn't one and that I had to pay 600 baht, and I said, well, on Booking.com it says there's a free shuttle, and we went back and forth via email for a day or so until they finally relented and agreed to pick me up at the airport for free. If they advertise the free airport shuttle when you book, then I recommend that you do what I did -- hold them to it.

Yes. Plenty, all close by. Also the hotel can direct you to them. Also the Indian restaurant right next to the hotel will point them out. In addition do not worry too much about changing money as Visa and MasterCard debit and credit cards are widely accepted reducing the need for cash. Hope that helps. Peter.
