Whilst Samui has been ravaged by the lack of international tourism it remains a poplar destination for Thais and expats. The beaches and water are very clean due to the lack of people and for me, the lack of blaring music from every venue was a godsend.

Situated on the quiet end of Chaweng Beach Samui Natien Resort remains open and its newly renovated villas are a delight. Tastefully decorated in pastels and white. Spotlessly clean and with very comfortable beds.

Bathrooms have a combination rainwater / traditional shower. Rooms have superfast Wi-Fi, efficient A/C and televisions with a good choice on international news and entertainment channels.

There is a public bus-stop and a post-box at the end of the drive and 7/11 and Family Marts within 5 minutes’ walk. The few places that are open can be easily reached by walking along the beach or the main road.

All the staff speak excellent English and go that extra mile to make the guests feel welcome. Airport pick up available.

I will certainly be back.

Just the kindest staff around. I arrived late and was welcomed and shown to my beautiful room. I was under the impression that breakfast was not included but the receptionist insisted that everyone gets breakfast. When I was at said breakfast my room was magically cleaned by the sweetest ladies. Just unobtrusive and professional. The grounds are jungle-like. The small pool was perfect and I had it all to myself. The beachfront location can't be beat, they provide lounge chairs and drink service. There are a few vendors passing by but not a problem at all. It was Wonderfull watching the paddle boarders and kayakers gliding through the calm waters out front. I have wonderful memories here and highly recommend this property. They even gave me complimentary late check out.

In a good location close to the centre but not too close. While the sea is shallow near the hotel it is not far to walk down the beach and find a a good place to swim. The beach area is very calm with all the noise and action further down. Rooms look like they have been refurbished recently. They are excellent quality, clean and mattresses very comfortable. The superior villa rooms could use some cupboard space. Breakfast is good with freshly fried eggs every day and fresh fruit. Staff in the restaurant and bar are very friendly helpful. It would be good if Happy Hour continued until 6pm. It's a good idea to let the hotel what time you are arriving. We arrived at 12.30 and all 3 rooms were ready for us.

We met as 4 couples from different sides of the world in this little resort. From day one we were made to feel welcome by the hotel staff. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. They were cleaned daily and water provided. The restaurant area is right next to the beach. So easy to have food and drinks then look out to the water. The breakfast daily was simple but substantial. The sun loungers were ample and daily we would sit out on the beach. The sea was shallow where we were but just a short walk it was deeper. Plus we had the pool.
We were able to walk to the local mini mart for supplies and 10 minutes we were in Chaweng town where there were plentiful restaurants of all types. So at least our resort was tucked away from the noisy bustle of the town.
This resort is a diamond amidst the larger more expensive ones.
The island of Koh Samui has changed alot since I last came here. But the people are always so friendly day and it has a special charm of it's own.
Can't recommend Samui Natien highly enough for a beautiful getaway.

If you decide on Samui, it's a great beach hotel and close to the airport. It has many rooms but all are well staggered so you don't feel swamped at all. It's tropical and green with Chaweng Beach to one side and the main strip to the other which is full of bars, restaurants and shops. Natien is very well situated and gives you a bit of both worlds if you like it, the strip is a bit too busy to our liking but if you're after such a vibe, and not much nature, then that's the place for you to go. The crew is fun and professional, Fang checked us in and was great, we even got a packed breakfast on our way out as had an early departure :) would come back and recommend if all you're after is a beautiful beach and a busy nightlife

This hotel was absolutely amazing. We stayed here for 6 nights last week in one of the villas, 604. It was perfect size, very clean and having Netflix was an extra bonus when you wanted an early night and chill.
The gardens are very well kept and are beautiful to look at when sat on your terrace.
The beach area was perfect, plenty of sun loungers and the water was so calm, so great for swimming.
The swimming pool was a good size and having a view of the beach was lovely.
All the staff here are kind and friendly. The chef was outstanding with the food that was prepared for us. The presentation and taste was unreal. The security guard was extremely helpful each evening when returning in our car and ensured we were able to park. Nan on reception was fantastic, she works very hard and we were always received with a warm welcome.
All restaurants and shops are within walking distance.
I cannot fault this hotel with anything and I will definitely be returning. Keep up the great work everyone, will see you again soon.

Surprised by how much I enjoyed my stay here. The bungalows are comfortable and you're right on the beach. The hotel is surprisingly quiet given what is going on right on the street. My only complaint is that they allow anyone to use the beach chairs and one day a large group of young loud travelers set up shop. Also, there are smoking rooms and there were some people up at the crack of dawn puffing away on their cigarettes, and it smelled disgusting.

We stayed here for four nights and then a further two nights at the end of our journey. The first unit which was 303, had a few maintenance issues, with a sliding door not opening properly and a toilet seat moving around. To their credit, the staff had a maintenance person there the next morning. The issues didn't really resolve that well. The room was a bit tired and really needs upgrading. Getting usb outlets would be handy.

However, having said that, the room overall was comfortable with good air-conditioning. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was great. I had a mushroom and ham omelette every morning and they changed the juices which was good - the lychee was my favourite. There was a reasonable selection of breakfast items. The happy hour at the bar was great. It wasn't far from the action in Chaweng but quiet, which is what you want. I would definitely stay there again if I return to Koh Samui.

Samui Natien is an awesome resort right on the beach. It is very beautiful, clean and well maintained, quiet and relaxing, and is staffed by friendly and accommodating team of locals. The food was outstanding. We were there for four nights and will return again for much longer next time.

I left my my key in reception while I went out, and the hotel manager forgot to tell me that reception closes at 11pm. When I arrived back at the hotel I found no-one working and was locked out my room for 3 hours. I rang the “24 hour helpline” over 100 times.
The security man I managed to find was extremely rude, unhelpful and completely uninterested.

Hi there! Yes, they do provide bath gel, shampoo and soaps. But they just normal ones - not famous or unknown brands. To be happy, suggest that you prepare all of them yourself including face tissue and English tea bags.
