Unless you really need to stay in Reinosa. Not much to do or expect from this hotel. I came to visit family and decided to stay here rather than AirBNB. Rooms are very outdated and very basic locks on doors. No privacy on the balcony as other rooms can just jumper over a knee high partition. Wifi was ok and... More

We were on our way to Portugal and booked up Hotel Vejo as it was 50 minutes drive from Santander ferry port. As expected it was not a pretty hotel but it was clean. We had dinner and what a surprise - 11 euros each for two with a local bottle of red wine - yes that's what I said!!... More

Not a great hotel but staff friendly. It feels like a left over from Eastern Europe in style and operation. Rooms were adequate and food good with the staff helpful. It feels as if it needs a total renovation. Adequate for passing through

On arrival, our hearts sank. The hotel is a concrete carbuncle reminiscent of something that survived post Chernobyl. In the car park, there is an enormous circular concrete doughnut...is it an alien spaceship? Slightly annoying that we could hear the noise of a would be ogre snoring through the wall, although I doubt any hotel wall could have resisted the... More

Very comfortable, clean and well managed Hotel, stayed at several times en route to Santander. Comfortable beds, always had a nice quiet room, good breakfast, helpful staff. Never had evening meal so can't comment. Great views from balcony.

We stopped here having got the overnight ferry to Santander - Reinosa was about an hour south of the port. The exterior of the hotel didnt look great - rather faded grandeur - but first impressions were wrong. The room was spacious, clean and bathroom was fine. Staff were friendly and breakfast was included in the price, which was a... More

This is a very dated hotel but the facilities are very clean and hygienic. The view from the balcony is magnificent and the food and drinks in the restaurant downstairs are ever so cheap (as with all places in Spain). The staff were wonderful and did their best to speak the little English they needed to get by. The bed... More

Reinosa is a pleasant little town about 50 miles south of Santander, historic centre with interesting buildings. I usually stop here on my trips to/from the UK. Hotel Vejo is a 1960's vintage, not great looking but the welcome is good and breakfast is usually included. The rooms look out towards the mountains, and have everything you could want, clean...
