Used this hotel as a stop over to Italy many times. It has just been renovated and is nice and clean. Anyone who gives this place a bad review is a moron. It is set in a rural setting close to Troyes/Chaumont and is perfect.

This place is very run down and extremely shabby. There is a tired air about the whole place. The photo of the sofas in reception will give you an idea! (cant load photo - believe me its condition is torn with stuffing coming out) The room smelt and the staff were clearly under pressure - to the point where they... More

We had two overnight stays recently. Our family has stayed here regularly over the past 25+ years. In this time we have noticed and experienced changes as you would expect. However, some changes have not been for the good. For example, the loss of both the manager and then the deputy manager through retirement led to just a part-time manager... More

We had a great overnight stop at Les Dhuits. It was a shame there was just one other guest to enjoy the open log fire in the restaurant where we thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal. Having stayed at Les Dhuits a number of times before, we appreciate that the meals are being prepared to a consistently high standard and are... More

Our last visit was in January 2013 (see review). Six months later we went back for an overnight stop. My wife and I were impressed by the significant improvement to the evening meal which was of high quality with ample portions. We both had scallops with smoked salmon salad followed by duck breast. We just had room for the home-made... More

We stayed at this hotel on 29th June 2013, and had chosen it as a half-way house coming back from the south of France. It was OK at first, like a slightly more downmarket Premier Inn. However, they had a wedding reception there from mid-afternoon onwards. The noise level went up and the disco went on until 4am, an absolute... More

We stopped in this important village with all the history associated with Charles de Gaulle. The staff were welcoming to this modern, clean but quite frankly soulless hotel. Amongst all the decorations it had almost no mention of de Gaulle. We could have been staying almost anywhere else in France. The meal was average but the wild boar (fricasse de... More

We revisited Les Dhuits a year after our earlier visit. It is now under the Inter Hotel umbrella. My comments are as my review last year but we found that there was a greater choice for the starters and main course at the evening meal despite the fact that the hotel was going to close shortly for its unusually long... As a family we have been using Les Dhuits as an overnight stop periodically for around 25 years. Our most recent visit was in January 2012. Our room was a "double confort" which was spacious with basic furniture and fittings. I noticed that all the bedroom windows had been upgraded which was good. Our room was on the Chaumont side... Stayed in this hotel is not a 3 star more a 2, very 1970s friendly enough. Don't expect too much. the rooms are very basic, no air conditioning, and very brightly coloured. Rooms very hot never slept a wink, even though the bed was very comfy, didn't want to open windows due to mossies, so was wringing wet.
