Beautiful location, and extremely high standards. The hotel recommended a local chateu/castle for an evening meal. STUNNING is the only word I can use to describe it. The food was also excellent. And overall a very reasonable cost. ONLY wished we could have stayed longer at Chateau Grattequina.

The property inside looks more like an office building, not a chateau.. Rooms are large but with poor maintenance, poorest breakfast of all in Bordeaux.. Location is good, just a 20 min drive frm the center

Dear client, Indeed, we are located in the countryside but close to the city that can be reached in 20 minutes by car or boat. We are a bit surprised by your comment about our breakfast and find it a bit harsh. We offer a continental breakfast with a lot of choices and good products (fresh orange juice, fresh fruits,... This was a lovely setting, quiet, comfortable and welcoming. But there is no restaurant which is odd for a hotel like this?! We were surprised and so ordered room service which was ok. Good service from the make receptionist who was very obliging and friendly. The breakfast was ok in the room it was cold when it arrived it's a... More

Dear client, Indeed the hotel proposes an exclusive guest's menu with some different fresh dishes, like cooked eggs, salad or assortment of cheese and delicatessen. It's served in room but also outside on the terrace facing the river, to fully enjoy this unique setting. We would like to thank you for your feedback, we will pay more attention to the... More

Chateau is a great charming place. Luxury at its best - quite and professional service, kind people and excellent location - right outside Bordeaux, by the river with beautiful views. There is a nice pool outside, terrace and nice gardens. Hotel is for everyone who appreciates quiet luxury with elegance. The breakfast is quite expensive but great. Free wifi everywhere.... More

Nice surroundings. Pool area a little tired and needs cleaning. Vacuuming of pool required. Rooms large and spacious - air conditioning very quiet! Ideally placed for Bordeaux and wine estates and chateaux.

Chateau is a lovely, cozy place on amazing property by the river. Comfortable rooms, lovely property and friendly personnel make the whole experience wonderful. It takes a mere of 15 minutes by car to get to very center of Bordeaux! Returning from the city you end up in fantastic mansion away from crowds or city noise..

We stopped here on the way to Dordogne. Really friendly and helpful staff, our room overlooked the river with a pretty balcony perfect for a pre-dinner drinks. The swimming pool has a lovely secluded feeling. Definitely a place worth visiting again to sample the delights of Bordeaux.

To me this is principally a wedding venue you can stay at when there isn't a wedding on. It's a bit self service in that respect. Doesn't have a proper restaurant for dinner or a bar. They can provide a limited room service menu and wine but not in a restaurant setting. So, if you aren't looking for a traditional... More

Absolutely lovely and breathtaking chateau and I couldn't have found a better place for our 5 day, 4 night stay in Bordeaux. Comfortable, spacious and well-appointed room with views that I'll never forget. We loved being a bit outside of the city, yet close enough to get in and out very easily (with a car)... And just 20-30 minutes from... More
