Had to book this on a short notice as others had no vacancy. This motel is just horrible. Dirty, old, noisy! Bedding looks like it wasn't washed at least a month and bed spreads were probably never washed. I could's sleep and had to get outside few times to get fresh air as I had problems breathing , that's how...

Our couple stayed this place on the way to Waitomo Cave. It was late evening and a bit chilly and we were exhausted. But when we got there and welcomed by the warm welcome, all the fatigues we had were dismissed like snow-melting. The host and hostess were so friendly and kind enough to end a day. They introduced us...

We (3 friends) survived 1 night simply because we had to but I wouldn't recommend anyone else stay here. The place is grotty to say the least. I doubt it's had any maintenance work in the past 20 years! Would've rather kept our $109 & slept in the car. The place should be demolished or at least spruced up to...

Described as "park like" surroundings. More likely overgrown and untended. Rooms are very poor. Brand new tv which was good. Reasonably clean, but for $93 not good. Certainly a repaint would help a little, bug backpackers rooms are better for less money. We booked through a website. Not again without at least inspecting the room! Our fault I guess. Avoid...

Despite booking a "family unit" which we were assured over the phone and webpage would include a separate room for the kids, on arrival we were put in a studio unit with 5 beds. The room was clean, but in a terrible state of disrepair. Appliances, including a heater were outdated and featured exposed wiring. Beds were uncomfortable and the...

Stayed there for 3 nights and the rooms were not even serviced once. Clean towels each day but beds were never made nor were the bathrooms cleaned. Heater was not even working on the first night. Would have moved out but all the other motels were fully booked. We were greeted by a big cockcroach the moment we entered the...

I reiterate everything other reviewers have said. Place was dirty I put an item of my own clothing around the pillows as I didn't want to put my head on them. Advertised price $80 but was charged $130 with no prior explanation. No discount for sharing with the cockroaches. When I queried the cost, the person at reception said "it's...
