While on the Camino it is good to indulge once in a while-here is a great spot! All Paradors are great; this one does not disappoint. Elegant, great staff, good food, and right in the heart of old town. Across the street from an amazing cathedral complex-spend six euros and take the tour-it's worth it.

Set in the old town of Santo Domingo, opposite the church and cobbled streets. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Easy walking distance to nearby restaurants. Just remember that the church bell chimes hours, it can be quite a wake up call. A historic old building with lots of charm.

We stayed in this parador on the way back from a family holiday near Tarragona. This is a historic building on the camino de santiago. Parking is just around the corner. It was a nice treat after 2 weeks in a mobile home.

As we walked the Camino de Santiago, we were ready to stay in a nice hotel. I found the Parador online and we showed up without a reservation. We were lucky enough and they had a room available. What a treat to have a beautiful room, get our laundry done and be able to sit in front of the hotel...

We spent two nights there while touring different small towns and cities in Northern Spain. It was the third Parador we had stayed in and felt it was the best. Main reason why we liked it was because it had tile floors instead of wood floors, as the other paradores did. So there was much less noise d we oiled...

Parador de Santo Domingo de la Calzada is a finely appointed hotel in a meticulously restored building in historic Santo Domingo in the La Rioja region. This was a night of luxury while we were walking the Camino de Santiago, the pilgrimage trail that passes through the small, walled city. The personnel were generous with their help and the room...

Spend the weeken with family at this parador and I must confess we had a great time. We had the half board deal that includes breakfast and another meal either lunch or dinner a choice of three courses from the menu, I recommend this option. A very nice parador in the centre of the town with lots of thing to...

We loved our two night stay at this beautiful Parador. We had a beautiful room overlooking the church square in front of the Parador. We saw a wedding taking place in the square from our window after we arrived. We initially struggled to find the entrance road to the Parador but then realized the bollards at the entrance retracted as...

A well situated hotel inside the security areas of the town. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to choice from within easy walking distance. The parador is a well maintained hotel within an old setting .

One of the best standards of Parador Excellent service from the majority of the staff Restaurant only opens at 8.30 with people waiting to go in This gives a bit if a feeling of a hostel... So just to be prepared The hotel should never allow people to stay in rooms 119, 219 220 as there is an incredible noise...
