Atmospheric building, arrived in the dark so impressively lit up. Very pleased with the accommodation & helpfulness of the reception staff. Shame we were only there a short time. The parador is just outside the town walls so we had chance to walk around and look for a place for dinner and then visit again in the morning. Rain didn't... More

I love staying in the Paradores. They are so beautiful, the meals are wonderful and the staff is always so friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are large and well stocked with amenities. The lounges are comfortable and the courtyards and gardens are a delight.

It is important to know that Paradors are historic and heritage pieces of architecture that have been converted into hotels and which are owned and operated by the Spanish state. There is no question it has exceptional character throughout and you get to feel somewhere special-- but it also feels like a grand old building converted into hostel suites. Not... More

What an incredible property! This hotel is a restored convent, and the public areas are gorgeous. They exude history. Thick stone walls, arches, galleries, you can really imagine what it was like when it was a convent. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very historic, and in a good location for exploring the town. The breakfast was typical, (fruit, bread,... More

We enjoyed 3 nights here. The parador is quiet and beautiful old convent. The ambiance of the building overall made for a very nice start to our honeymoon in Spain. There is no restaurant in the hotel but many restaurants within walking distance so that suited us just fine. The room was ok - a 3/5 - could use some... More

Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of the building. The rooms are splendid if you want to experience the quaint village. Great breakfast selection. Walk out the front door and you are in the middle of families strolling and playing under the canopy of trees. The Camino de Santiago is 30 feet away.

When I signed up for a night in a Parador, I was expecting somewhat larger rooms and at least a bar or restaurant. while well maintained and with great decor and a good level of cleanliness, there was not as many amenities as I had hoped. the Paradors in other cities go for around $500/night and this one under $100,... This is the smaller of the two paradors in the town and shares bar and restaurant with the other one. There is a free car park right next to the Parador. The room safe is free too. Nice staff. Wifi worked fine for us. Very clean and roomy. We had a room overlooking the car park and town. Thursday morning... More
