Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I can’t say anything about hotel, since I didn’t stay there, but the bar and lady running it are simply the best!! Extremely friendly, with great sense of humor. We spent very pleasant evening there and left quite tipsy:) I can highly recommend this place to everyone. And there are happy hours!!

The location is good, and the manger is lovely. However, the rooms are a bit dismal, a little dirty and in need of desperate refurbishment - especially the bathroom. If you’re just looking for a place to crash after partying it’s ok.

Great friendly welcoming bar. Can’t comment on rooms as not staying here. Bar is nicely done out, great staff, nice and relaxing, hassle free. A great place, thank you 👍🏻 Has good offer on drinks 6-8.

Didn’t stay at the hotel so cannot comment, but it’s fair to say that if it’s anything like the bar it’s doing ok. Nice relaxed outdoor area with equally as large inside space. Anyone can use it,not just guests, and at the moment between 6pm & 8pm it’s two large beers for €5. This deal is on now (mid Oct) but don’t know if it is a year round thing or just when things get a bit quieter. The owner is very friendly too.

The Poseidon Hotel and Bar is located towards the top of Main street, about a 5 to 10 minute downhill walk or stroll from the harbour front. We were met on arrival by Lindsay the Manager and her wonderful companion Marley the dog. We were shown to our room and met Jen the cleaner on route. Both are brilliant and made our stay so relaxing. The apartment itself was large with a big kitchen diner/ living room with large bedroom and ensuite shower room. The only letdown was the shower which is need of updating. There's air con in the bedroom and floor fan in the living room. Both of which are welcome and were put to good use. There is free WiFi, although its not the greatest, and drops quite readily. It was okay mostly for email and streaming YouTube etc. Towels and bedding were changed on the fourth day, which was ok for us. There's a bar on the ground floor of the hotel, which is frequented in the evenings with a great selection of locals, holiday makers, guests and long term holiday makers who stay in Kassiopi for six months of the year. Most bar customers happily chat to guests and share local knowledge. The bar was well run also by Lindsay with the dutiful Marley happy to follow at her side or shortly behind depending on the heat.. Kassiopi resort is lovely, and has good amount of bars, restaurants and supermarkets etc. The beaches are pebbles and rocks but well run with loungers and shades etc. When it was time to leave Lindsay was there to say goodbye. Although this was our first time to Corfu it won't be are last and I think we'll be returning to the Poseidon again - hopefully this year. Thanks so much.

We had apartment with one bedroom, kitchenette and balcony. Apartment is not modern and it is quite old but it had all that we need. The worst part is bathroom, it really needs refreshment. Old TV was equipt with indoor antenna, so is almost impossible to watch anything - during our stay was World Cup. On the ground floor is a pub, if You want to go sleep before midnight better take earplugs, it is noisy, especially when they start to close pub. As a advantage I can mention staff and localization. Owner is very kind and helpful. City center and shops are close, walk to Bataria Beach takes 15-20 minutes.

This hotel is in a great location close to all the bars and restaurants and only a few minutes walk from the beach. The room was basic but was fine for what we required. The balcony was big and nice to sit out on an evening. AC worked brilliantly and was much needed on a night. The host was lovely and always ready for a chat. Definitely worth a visit even just fro drinks if you are in the area.

Lindsey was fabulous and very friendly, we paid 500 Euros for 10 nights room only, we had room number 4 , very large sitting room and large bedroom , I'm hoping after seeing some of the reviews that room 4 is their worst room, the kitchen was adequate but we did not use it , the shower cubical with shower curtain was the smallest shower I have ever been in and the tiles had mildew in the cubical, also no plug in sink and the bottom of the toilet was dirty, I had to bleach it several times, the balcony was the smallest I have ever seen but was ok for 2 people just, small table and 2 chairs on balcony , also poor view from balcony , no parking at this hotel but plenty of parking on main road behind hotel, the bar had a happy hour 6pm to 8 pm and when Lindsey was working there was always people in the bar laughing and having fun, her dog Marley was lovely,
