This hotel has now changed to Michaelangelo Resort in Kassiopi. We had read the reviews and was very worried before we stayed here. Our room 401 was absolutely prestine and towels were changed daily. Bedding was also changed twice within the week. Our room was very roomy and modern and had everything we needed and was up to standard for a 3 star although when we booked last year it was classed as a 4. Pool areas were lovely and plenty of sunbeds. The only gripe I had was pool area needed sweeping daily and empty plant pots were full of stale water from when it rains and rubbish. The bar all inclusive was adequate and the food was lovely. We had read terrible reviews regarding the food and we could not fault it and I am very fussy. The choice was very good on hot food and the salads were super. There was plenty of deserts if you fancied that and fruit choice on all meal times. The people of the hotel were very pleasant. We did not see the Tui rep in resort which was disappointing but did see the Jet 2 rep who came over and asked if we was ok even though we had not booked with them. Lovely lady who asked if there was anything she could get for us. Well done Jet 2. Transfer is a little long 3 hours too many pick ups.

I stayed here for one week I am not a fussy person but I had to go to complain many times in this hotel , firstly the room was tiny for two people the wardrobe would just about fit my clothes in nevermind my daughters so they moved us .Then our new room had a double and single bed we did not have enough pillows I waited 3 days for a spare one also no towel change or bed change for for 4 days to top it all the hair dryer was ready to blow up and we waited 4 days for the new one ,we were all inclusive but the food was awful the same constantly repeated and no variety the best meal was breakfast you can't go wrong with cereal and toast , therefore we had to eat out the drinks were flat and watered down , the afternoon snacks were bland cakes the same every day I would like to say Kassiopi is amazing I would definitely recommend it but not this hotel .

First things first, this hotel is rated at 4 star, but nowhere in your wildest dreams does it merit that rating. We were there during the last two weeks of the season and it was pretty obvious that they were winding down, especially when the warning signs were there, running out of butter, feta, yoghurt, wine and various spirits during the time we were there. Okay,it was only for a day for most of the items, but still, it should not have been allowed to happen. We met up with other guests during the time there and they had various other complaints (see other reviews for the property),which included the options at meal times, the rooms, the staff and some of the facilities, or lack thereof. I appreciate and understand some of the negative comments, but from a personal perspective we always found something to eat, our room was cleaned on a daily basis, with daily towel changes and every other day linen changes. We could not fault any of the staff we had dealings with, in particular,Brad,Theo, Harris and our maid(Apologies for not remembering her name). The pool area was perfectly suitable with plenty of sunbeds available too, so no complaints there. Certainly there are issues with pictures on the website that had been taken however many years ago, as there were some pictures that showed locations within the hotel that did not exist in reality, perhaps that is something that should be investigated by TUI, but thats not for this review. One positive out of the stay was that all the guests were actually interacting with each other, how many times can you honestly say that has happened? One final thought thats worth considering, we all paid a fair amount of cash for our holiday at Memento and it may not have lived up to our expectations, but if you arrive and form an instantly negative impression, chances are that will remain with you for the duration of your stay, but if you accept that its maybe not quite as bad as you think it is and make the most of it, you may even surprise yourself and be able to look back and afford yourself a smile.

It’s hard to know where to start with this review. The short of it is that Memento Resort, Kassiopi was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. From beginning to end of our week there, it was just disaster and disappointment. Very poor facilities and below average food, unsafe children’s areas, drainage issues in rooms, rude and incompetent reception and management staff, flies in food, mouldy shower curtains and unhappy guests galore. Sadly, that list is only a drop in the ocean. TUI should not be advertising this hotel. It is not worthy of 3 stars and it is, shockingly, an official 4 star hotel based on the Greek ratings. Beautiful area of Corfu, horrible hotel. Our fellow guests were openly referring to this hotel as the Greek version of Fawlty Towers without the laughs. My strong advice is: AVOID and spend your money elsewhere.

I’ve often read reviews on here and thought ‘ok, you can’t please everyone, it’s probably not that bad’ ....but having witnessed first hand at this hotel, I’ve decided to write my first ever review!! On arrival at the reception, a member of staff greeted us and everything seemed ok. He showed us down to our room, where we were met by a very fresh smelling, large double bedroom with a kitchenette, an adequate sized bathroom and a good sized balcony. We both commented on how clean it was, great! THIS IS THE ONLY PART OF THE HOTEL THAT WE CAN GIVE A POSITIVE ON!! We spent what should have been ‘a week all inclusive in a 4* hotel complex’ actually eating out most of the time and feeling like we were in the way of the hotel staff waiting to close the place down for the winter... PRO’S; * fantastic cleaning staff (very helpful and very friendly) * nice sized room and balcony * location into Kassiopi village CON’S; * food * drink * rude staff (telling us they can’t wait to see the back of the place) * pool bar very dull and not entertaining * inside bar area feels like a waiting room * restaurant is more like a school canteen * no evening entertainment * no kettle in the room THEN THERE’S THE ALL INCLUSIVE JOKE.... FOOD I wouldn’t let my dog eat half the stuff they have served up over this last week... The meat that is on offer is repeated constantly, then you have a selection of veggies, again repeated, sometimes the same for lunch and dinner?! Who would really want Brussel sprouts and mashed potato for lunch then have a swim after that?! Nothing is labelled up...it really is a guessing game as to what some stuff is! Not ideal when you have food allergies! The margarine (to use on the mouldy bread) is not chilled at all, it’s in and out of the kitchen all day long and has a sour taste to it! I’ve never been to a hotel restaurant and had yoghurt and salad that wasn’t chilled, left on a table in the middle of the canteen! Above all else though...the food is at best lukewarm! Maybe it wouldn’t have been half as bad if we weren’t eating cold food for every course??!! DRINK The all inclusive bar opened at 10am and closed at 10.30pm Very limited as to what there is...general tea, coffee, soft drinks, lager, wine and probably the worst selection of ‘cocktails’ I’ve ever seen! SNACKS What a joke! So at 3.30pm the barman puts out the poolside snacks for you to enjoy... Every day this consists of half a dozen spinach rolls (undercooked) and two types of cake (which is also available every mealtime in the canteen)...the cakes I’m guessing should be like a Madeira cake, only it’s so rock hard to try and eat, I never got the opportunity to know! And that, ladies and gentlemen is the all inclusive package....basically full board with the odd shandy and rock cake thrown in if you fancy it! Apart from the room itself and the cleaning staff, we were very disappointed with the hotel. It’s very dated and tired, the staff could do with a big shake up and the entire kitchen staff need re training! We understand we went at the end of the season, but whether it be the first week or the last week of season, guests should be treated exactly the same! We’ve been to other resorts at this time of year and not received this treatment! Definitely should not be told that they are sick of doing and seeing the same things...and cannot wait to finish...it makes guests feel in the way and it doesn’t provide the greatest atmosphere for holidaymakers! Reading through previous reviews, it’s clear to see the decline in the place over the last couple of years...I’m sure when some of these photos were took 5+ years ago, the hotel was on top of its game...sadly, not any longer!! I definitely would not be going back there, neither would I recommend it to anyone I know!! Funny thing is, we met a ‘lucky lucky’ man in Sidari one of the days. His name was ‘Matt’ and his favourite saying was ‘and don’t come back’....well Matt, I wouldn’t worry too much about that 😉😂

My friend and I stayed here for the first week in October, we payed very little for an all inclusive holiday, and didn't expect much, however, our room was very good, very well cleaned every day, we enjoyed the varied continental food. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was low rise and spread out, with several pools and tennis court, also gym which we didn't visit. Free shuttle to two beaches and a short walk to Kassioppi (hill) Probably forgotten something, but we thoroughly enjoyed the week! Hope this is helpful. Oh, all ages seemed to enjoy the hotel.

Stayed here for a week with my parter, first week of October 19 Firstly my partner has upgraded our room to superior as a surprise treat, we discovered the room was no bigger than a standard and had none of the listed upgrades ie fruit, kettle.. Hotel insist that it is superior though could not tell me what is superior about it, Tui rep didn’t get back to us as he promised and tui in uk have been no help All guests are complaining about the choice and standard of all inclusive food We have had liver twice, cauliflower at all times if day Fries at breakfast then nine for the rest of the day The hotel has run out butter, wine, vodka and gin for days The map at reception shows a lounge to be part of the hotel and have since admitted it is not part of their complex and more The lounge which shows football etc has shut and day beds have been soil stained and wet towels from day before left on them still by lunchtime All guests have been complaining about the same things that I have mentioned Some staff have also they are ashamed of the way in which this resort is treating their guests The hotel location is good, Kassiopi is a lovely town with a beautiful harbour but will have better places to stay than Momento!

On arrival at Mementos we were allocated room 317 - dull & drab and looked out at tall brown fence (no sign of the vibrant bedding & chairs detailed on the website). We asked the receptionist for a change of room. He referred to a superior behind the wall and came back and said not at that time because the power had been cut as there was a large in the region. We returned later in the day to be told that the manager had left and we’d have to come back the next day. The following day the person behind the wall agreed to us moving but not till after 2pm. The new room we were given was a vast improvement and we were very grateful to the one ever cheerful and helpful receptionist who was quite delightful, We were advised that the new room was an upgrade but believe this was because it would have slept 4 (there was only 2 of us) and not because it was of a higher grade than we had booked and paid for. A couple of days later we returned to requested to borrow a kettle - the receptionist went behind the wall but there was no one there to refer to so we were advised there wasn’t one available and to ask again later. Many of the facilities mentioned on the website were not there eg in-room safe, telephone, AM/FM alarm clock, luggage storage (I don’t think leaving luggage in a large open reception area is storage), wheelchair access (apart from the restaurant nowhere is accessible in a wheelchair not even the reception). The TV had no more than 5 channels none of which were broadcast in English. The entertainment detailed on the website happened once a week. The selection of food on offer at the restaurant (or rather the canteen) was very limited, the quality disappointing and nothing was hotter than lukewarm. The presentation of the food was poor but worse than that was the way in which the staff cleared the tables. Yellow trolleys with a bucket at one end into which the cutlery was dropped and a second at the other end for collecting leftover food - done so by scraping one plate against another. Not the quiet atmosphere we’re used to. All in all just not what we expected
