Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What can I say about the Orestis other than it's absolutely perfect, everything we could wish for. Spotlessly clean, gorgeous pool with proper steps not just rungs (good for less mobile), incredible location right by the beach, fantastic, friendly staff and a lovely spacious apartment with aircon and hairdryer plus mini kitchen. There's a supermarket nearby and a fabulous taverna El Greco next door. We'd highly recommend One for the Road pub in town for great live music and fun. The shops were also lovely, not just tourist tat but some quirky shops with unusual gifts. The sea is calm and clear and very safe. So peaceful at the pool area and decent music (not loud) and with superb views. All of the staff from cleaners to bar and cooking staff were super friendly and helpful. Shout out to Ena and Elaine. It's very rare that we would go back to the same place but we will definitely return here and highly recommend it to anyone.

Stayed here Sep 13 for one week. Hotel is beautiful the swimming pool is just amazing the staff. Jenny and Maria are so friendly and helpful and can't do enough for you. The rooms are very well kept. The beds are amazing great nights sleep. Grounds are well maintained and kept. The only down point I would say. Is the cleaners. They were hit and miss and sometimes left you short of towels and toilet roll. Also the aircon. Very very weird set up. So the air con is fine and ice-cold. But if you open your balcony doors the air con goes of. That is understandable to save it going out the door. But if your in a 2 bed apartment and your friends are in the next room and want to open there door for a smoke say. Your air con will turn of as well even if your in the other room having a midday sleep.l with the air con on Which is very weird and wrong. Each room should have its open door and air con off function IMO.

It was a family trip (me, wife, 1 and 4 year old daughters). The experience was "okayish". This is our second stay in Corfu. The last time we stayed in a similar set up (Goudelis Apartments) but there was a on site manager which quickly addressed the issues we had - and that made the experience way more positive. Pros: -All the staff from the bar are lovely and caring. Hats off! -The place is seafront and close to the city centre -Supermarket nearby, although a bit pricey -Swimming pools are nice Cons: - When we got there, the room and bathroom's floor were all wet - the only person on site was the bartender - she kindly came over and mopped it. With the air conditioning on, the problem went away, seemed related to the humidity and high temperatures. - We had a couple of issues such as the stove not heating up properly and also that our room was way to bright due to a "light-through" entrance door and also an extra big window (when compared to other apartments). Given how ridiculous thin the blinds were, when the sun rose, our daughters would wake up instantly due to the sunlight coming in. - There is no on site manager/owner. He is usually on and off and most times we need to liaise with the bar staff for issues, although they have no power whatsoever on things which aren't bar related - they always ask you to wait for the owner to arrive. -When I managed to get hold of him, he gave me an electric stove which again did not work very well, it'd take 10 minutes to heat up and even so wouldn't heat up enough - I did not bother complaining again as when I spoke to him he seemed a bit careless. -It seems that they don't have a proper process in place for replenishing the plats/cutlery in the apartments - they just wait for you to complain about something missing (like I saw a couple of times with some of the guests) and then they'll sort it out.

I'll get the only negative out the way first. We paid more when booking for an apartment with a sea view and this was stated on the hotel voucher however upon arrival we were allocated a ground floor apartment with no sea view. Mistakes can happen so I informed the staff and provided them with our hotel voucher which clearly stated sea view from balcony. Staff said they'd phone the owner/management and get back to me which is all fair enough however instead of then coming to us and saying something along the lines of... "..apologies, our mistake, we'll sort you out with a sea view apartment asap.." they came back saying this was the fault of On The Beach and what the description should have said was "see the view from then side" instead of "balcony with sea view" 😀. So having got the apartment wrong they then proceeded to treat us like fools which was very disappointing. Anyway about 1 hour after a call to On The Beach rep we were offered an apartment that matched what we'd paid for. After a bad start everything was perfect from then on in. Absolutely stunning location, pool, cleanliness, staff, rooms, air con, pool, snack/bar area, food & gardens - by a considerable distance, the best 3 🌟 we've ever stayed in. Also very quiet and relaxing but less than a 5 min stroll to the beginning of the strip and 20 min stroll to the outstanding Tavernas in Canal D'Amour (Katerina's Taverna is a must visit). An unexpected bonus was that Orestis have a quiet private beach ahout 20ft from the pool with sunbeds/paresols included where the sea is shallow, sandy and safe.

Ssshhhh don't keep telling people how good this place is. Room was large, clean and had everything we needed, nice big balcony also. The pool is a good size, spotless like the rest of the hotel. The food from the pool bar was good, and reasonable price wise. The staff are your typical Greeks, absolutely spot on. Lovely people The best thing about this hotel, Sidari and Greece is how chilled and relaxed it is. I'm very laid back, however I went too a completely different level .

The room was spotless, very clean bed and fresh towels. The pool area was clean, perfect for small children and adults as well. The staff was beyond friendly, the food was good with reasonable prices. The beer was cold, perfect cold. The hotel is waterfront and with walking distance from pubs, restaurants, supermarkets and souvenirs stores. Definitely coming back here, highly recommended.
