Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The apartments are very clean and it’s a very peaceful location making for a restful holiday. The pool was well maintained and there was enough loungers every day. It is a close walk to the strip where there is loads to do. It is nice to escape back to the apartments after all the noise of the strip. If you are looking for a lively place to stay this is not the one. The fly net in the rooms is a bonus. The downsides are very slow Wi-Fi. Also we celebrated 2 30th birthdays while staying and the cleaner threw away the birthday banner while cleaning

Well equipped for self catering and kept exceptionally clean by the very hard working cleaners . All apartments are fitted with fly screens on windows and patio door. Beautiful pool only a few yards away . Only a 5 min walk to Megali beach . We throughly enjoyed our holiday and hope to return next year .

Wow returned from Megali luxuries last week and what an amazing time. The rooms are immaculate and equipped with everything you would need. The pool is a great size and lots of sun beds available. So quiet at night but the town and beach easily accessible. 100% recommend, me and my partner want to go back!

We stayed in a Mezzanine apartment. Being visiting Corfu regularly for 20 years and other Greek islands for over 33 years. Without doubt this was the best apartment we have stayed in. Modern and well equipped, and a rarity in Greece..a very comfortable king size bed. The location is ideal with lovely pool. Close to tavernas and centre but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing, just a short stroll to the beach. I was so impressed I have already booked 2 weeks in 2024. The lady who looked after the rooms was very helpful and made sure everything was kept spic and span, with bedding changed every 2 days.....which is better than most hotels. Great holiday Thank you

I have been visiting the property for a few years now... There is no reception, but guests are helpful and advise how to find your room, surely you have reviewed the apartment before arriving and seen that a notice will be on the main entrance anyhow? The cleaner who runs it *Angela* is fantastic and always about to lend a hand or give advice... 2022 her mum was doing the cleaning as Angela has had twin girls so no doubt will be the same in 2023.. The place is kept immaculate, but is getting dated, which one would expect. I suppose if people complain, they could take time to renovate & update furniture etc.... but then costs would go up even more The air conditioning is extra, like most places..... If you require your room as have a late departure, they always try accomadate yes it costs but doesn't everywhere.. If people hadn't abused and stolen things there would still be a room with a toilet and storage facilities free of charge.. I have known people who complain about only receiving 1 toilet roll, yes this is unusual but again did you not read the reviews?? The pool area is kept extremely clean and the pool is often checked as the owner often comes on a evening to check things plus only a phone call away. The pool is normally quiet, but as other reviews have said it is the guest who spoil it, one particular time it was mostly couples who were all quiet except for one room who insisted talking on loud speaker on there phone at the pool and play music all the time. where most people use headphones, thats the pick of the bunch again not the hoteliers fault. If you want english food, Fever bar is excellent along with there cocktails & few tavernas on the way to the main strip, the closest supermarket does there own deserts the apple crumble is fabulous.

Just back from a week at this place and it was peaceful ,relaxing and chilled, just what my partner and myself were after. Our room was lovely with a seperate upstairs bedroom. The area was not rushed , but could be because we went end of season , very chilled. There’s a shopping strip literally 10-15 minute stroll away with lots of shops, bars and restaurants. A bit closer to the apartments are a few bars and restaurants and a little supermarket. If you stay here a trip to fevers bar , literally a couple minutes walk from the apartment,is a must and if you can try their Sunday roast , it’s amazing. The apartment was clean and basic but had everything you need in it. Only fault we found was the electric, you have to keep the key fob in a thing on the wall to get electric , which is great when you’re in the room but if going out for the day and you have stuff in the fridge , then the fridge isn’t working ! You get 1 toilet roll when you first arrive and a bottle of water , if you run out of loo roll then you buy your own . This wasn’t a problem for us but just wanted to make others aware. The only other problem we had was when we arrived , there is no reception so we didn’t know where our apartment was, it was other guests who told us we had to look on a notice stuck to the entrance that told us our room number and that the key would be in the door , but unfortunately for us the room number on the sheet of paper wasn’t our room ,someone was already in it , so we had to ring the owner ,whose number was on a wall, then wait for him to come and sort it out. He came quite quickly to be fair , and we eventually got into our room. I think they need to rethink checking in , if it hadn’t have been for other guests helping we would have been stuck. We also helped other guests who arrived after us. Apart from that initial incident we had a lovely chilled week.

Just arrived back from 5 days at megali. My sister and I just wanted a quick cheap long weekend to put the world to rights and boy this was just the job. Absolutely nothing to complain about and nothing not to like. Pool area is ace and had pool to ourselves in mornings. Location is perfect so quiet and peaceful. If you wanted the strip only about a ten min walk. Beach so close but take sea shoes as it’s bit rocky. Would definitely go back - brilliant

We have just returned from these apartments and firstly would like to say that they are the best accomodation we have ever stayed in in Greece over the last 12 years. - faultless - 10/10 They are immaculate and very modern and the cleaners do an excellant job. However, we originally booked these apartments because all of the reviews said that it was a very quiet and relaxing place, with no pool side bar etc so it was peace and relaxation all the way. And so it was, and then after 5 days a family of 12 arrived who proceeded to shatter the tranquility with music by the pool screaming and shouting on inflatables in the pool so that no one else could get in for a swim and then finally they ended up drinking alchohol around the pool. We had been under the impression from previous reviews that this wasnt tolerated at these apartments as people specificaly booked them for the peace and quiet of the pool area and any rowdiness was stopped. But nothing was done and consequently we did not have the relaxing holiday that we needed. We will try these apartments again next year in the hope that we dont have any of these selfish individuals staying at the same time, as they are so lovely and they location is great, but I do think the Megali would benefit by advertising these as maybe adults only apartments or stress how it is a peaceful relaxation zone, and then the people who want to drink alchohol and scream and shout in the pool can stay in other apartments with like minded people

Here now on a a 4 night break with my daughter to celebrate end of A level exams!! This place is lovely!! Nice and quiet, pool to ourselves at points today, considering it’s school holidays back in the uk I’m over the moon!! No fights for loungers, we moved with the sun 😎!! Apartment has everything you need and twin beds!! The only thing I can say I’m disappointed with is the lack of cats!! I love them and have purchased some biscuits for them and not 1 in sight 🙄 No bar is keeping costs down as you take you’re own food and drinks to the pool!! If you’re looking at this place then I would definitely recommend and return!!

Firstly I would say this has the potential to be a lovely stay. However we were given a room with one double bed for myself and my 14 year old. I was expecting a separate bed for my child. I didn't raise this as I assumed it is just because this was a two person accommodation and that is what was offered for two but on the last day we discovered we had just been given the worst room possible as in order to stay on the final day so as not to be out in the heat with all our luggage til our night time flight we had to pay 25 euros so we could be put in another room for the day. This was where another mother and her child had been and left the day before. This accommodation was far superior with a separate bed for a child. A TV that worked with no issues, good light, mosquito nets at windows that weren't ripped, a decent shower with a door that actually shuts. All of which we didn't have for our stay in the other room. I wish I had taken pictures to highlight how bad the substandard room was so that I could get some money back. Won't be coming here again. I don't expect to pay extra to stay on the last day when the package we're given has such a late flight and I expect everything included to work and to have a separate bed for my child. Avoid or check what you are getting.
