I’ve been coming to Sidari for almost 10yrs now and have stayed at San George for about 6 of those years…. I found the place and it’s feels like home….

It’s a short 10/15mins slow walk to the centre, with plenty of lovely tavernas on the way, so for me the location is perfect

The pool is large, well kept and has plenty of sunbeds and parasols around for everyone…
New for this year was the outdoor bar area, which really opened up the place and the bar prices are still the cheapest I’ve seen, with a great variety of drinks, cocktails etc

The studio rooms sleep three, they are huge….. kitchen area with cupboards, kettle and fridge… the bathroom is better than most accommodations as again it’s huge, it has a shower over the bath..
The doors and windows have a mozzie screen, so I’ve never needed Aircon, I just leave the doors open and the screen closed…

I stayed here with my friend during our holiday to Corfu in at the beginning of June, and our experience of this hotel was excellent. On the day of our arrival we arrived very late in the evening, but we were still given a very warm welcome and shown to our room, helping us with our cases up the steps. When we asked about somewhere local to find some food, the very kind staff made us a pizza despite the kitchen being closed (thank you!).
Throughout the holiday the thing that stood out the most was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We were always made to feel very welcome, and the bar staff couldn't do enough for you, they were amazing.
We ate in the hotel restaurant a few times and the food was always great, and the prices were very reasonable.
We did have a couple of minor issues with our room (kettle stopped working etc), but this was dealt with very promptly by the helpful staff and without any issues.
The pool was very nice, kept very clean and the facilities were great.
The entertainment in the evenings was pitched at just the right level, not too noisy heard from the rooms but great fun if you were there.
Parking was free and there was always space available for us to park.
The location was perfect for us, just outside Sidari but quieter than the hotels in the centre of the resort. Also a good location as a base to explore other areas of Corfu in our hire car.
The cleaners were very friendly, and did a great job of maintaining our room.
Thank you to all the staff at San George for making our holiday so excellent, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of going to Sidari!

Spent a week here in August , booked a two bedroom apartment, on arrival our room didn’t suit our needs so asked manager for change of room , we was shown a one bedroom apartment which was exactly the same size but without a dividing wall separating the kitchen area from the second bedroom , we was happy to accept that ..basic but very clean !!

All the staff are so friendly & helpful , we ate here in the daytime & the food was lovely & very good value , drinks & cocktails were spot on & the local wine was delicious 😋
There was entertainment on a few nights & the BBQ at €10 is a must ..

It’s a small & friendly place , 10-20 minutes to the main strip of Sidari which we walked to frequently ..nice pool area & plenty of Sunbeds ..

Best thing about San George is the lovely guests we met , lots of repeat guests & that speaks volumes , everyone had time to stop & chat , there’s a lovely little church at the back of the hotel grounds which you must see ..

I wouldn’t hesitate to come back as we had a fantastic week , ( mother/daughter/ grandson) .

Me my partner and teenage daughter stayed here for a week mid-August 2022. We had booked a 3 bed apartment on a self-catering 7 day stay. Although the apartment was for 3, most items like crockery, cutlery and terrace seating only catered for two people. We brought this to the attention of management whom at the time of the complaint said they would sort the shortages out, but this never happened.

Cooking utensils was also short in supply, and those that were present were unusable unless thoroughly scrubbed and cleaned first. We actually spent so much time just cleaning one pan that we just didn’t bother with the others and left them in the cupboard. No oven or toaster, just a microwave and kettle. This did really limit the choice of meals we could make. Everything needed a deep clean before use.

Bar service was slow and they often forgot your order or went onto do other things before fulfilling it. The TV in the room did not work and there was no channels to view even after retuning. We would not stay here again due to the lack of service, poor room facilities and out-dated equipment. During our stay we did not see the pool cleaned once and we always get up early and stay up to late.

Overall, how a hotel can advertise a room catering for 3 and then only provide enough services for 2 people is beyond me. The hotel needs to update all its rooms and completely refurnish them in our view. We paid for a room catering for 3 people and this is what should have been provided.

We arrived on an early flight so we were happy that the room was ready by 1pm.
Hotel is about 10 mins walk from the start of the main sidari eating places, either direct along the road, or over the wooden bridge round the back to the old part of sidari. You'll be fine getting back in the dark as the road is well lit by streetlights.
We booked a 2 bed apt which was by the bar & pool... be aware if you have these apts, there's entertainment on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays which goes on past midnight which is loud. If you want peace and quiet of an evening then these rooms are not for you. There are others higher up behind the bar, which are quieter.
Entertainment includes music, karaoke, quiz night, Greek dancing and barbecue.
We paid for air con as the temps were in the 30s, which was 10 euro per night. Bliss.
Rooms are fine. Not geared for self catering as the cooking facilities are limited... microwave, 2 electric rings and a few pots. Still, we ate out every night.
We booked b&b. Menu was small but decent portions. Greek or English breakfast, toast, scrambled eggs, various omelettes, which you can vary eg I had English breakfast with Greek sausage most days. If you want fruit and yoghurt then it seems to be hard to get even in Sidari. Everything was good value. Drinks at the bar very reasonable prices.
Pool area is very good. Clean sizable pool, plenty of sunbeds, never crowded. We used these nearly every day and enjoyed the relaxation.
Best thing is the friendly and accommodating staff. They try their best to make your stay enjoyable. We had a lovely time. Thank you to San George.

Room Tip: If you like quiet, avoid rooms by the pool and bar. Go for something up the hill behind the bar.

Just home from a 10 night stay, a few reviews I'd read just before going had me worried about my choice of accommodation, these worries were put to bed as soon as we arrived.

We were in block B in a ground floor studio as requested, studio was basic but clean and spacious, there was a hill or steps up to the room but my almost 70 year old mum managed it fine. The cleaners were in every day and you only need to ask if you need anything. There was a microwave and a little 2 ring cooker that we never used as mostly lived on fruit and sandwiches during the day.

The staff were lovely and pool area was great, we were also able to keep our room on the last day for a small fee right up to our pick up time of 7.30 pm which was a huge help.

Yes there was a 10-15 minute walk to the main strip but I knew that at the point of booking but there is a lit footpath all the way.

Overall we had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay here again.

The pool was cloudy and the toilets was filthy, no one on reception and one person on the bar, no cleaners, no toilet roll provided, the staff was extremely unhelpful and very rude. We was told that this hotel was being renovated next year so by the looks of it, they’ve just completely let it go but as far as I’m concerned if it’s the same management whether it has been renovated or not the cleanliness of this hotel was extremely poor. I would go as far as to say it’s the worst hotel that I’ve ever stayed in to top it off. I’ve emailed Jet2 and they haven’t even responded and after talking to multiple people that were staying there at the same time as us, they had the same view that it was unlclean! Very disappointing holiday. Avoid this hotel cleanliness is not something that they strive for.

Visited in May 24, we were the first to stay in 2 bed ground floor refurbished apartment.
King size bed in 1 room and 2 good size singles in the other. Kitchen perfect with fridge and 2 ring hob, we did not use this as we ate out. Breakfast was probably, typical Greek style but delivered with a lot of love. Gluten free options provided too, just have a little patience, this is new to this place and typical Greek style but equally fantastic!!
The beds were brand new and comfy , air con worked very well at no extra cost, hair dryer provided in bathroom.

The sunbeds round the pool are beautiful and new and extremely comfortable and washed daily as is the pool area, very well maintained.

The new additional 2 infinity pools are beautiful and quiet and can be used by all in this hotel.

Georgia who works none stop at the bar all day is an absolute delight and such a wonderful person, a credit to San George’s.
10 to 15 minutes walk to the strip, passing some amazing restaurants, a must try!!

We were unsure what to expect due to previous reviews however no one at this hotel had a bad word to say.

Perhaps little tweets would make this a 5 star review, such as a little more storage in the apartment, at least 2 to 3 cleaning visits however the bins were changed daily, and perhaps more fruit options at breakfast for me, but we absolutely would not hesitate to stay here again.

You will not find nicer and as many pools anywhere especially for the price we paid.

Perfect relaxing stay , bar food and drinks very reasonable and the most wonderful hosts .

Ask for towel changes or anything you want, they will happily provide anything you need.
Family who run this place live on site, be respectful.

Having read previous reviews we weren’t sure what to expect, but as a last minute booking we thought we’d give it a go. We arrived late and were quickly taken to our apartment. Well, our jaws dropped when we walked in. It was enormous and obviously recently refurbished. There was a large living area with two single beds. A large bedroom also with king sized bed. A nice sized bathroom also. The “kitchen” area had a full sized fridge and a two ring hob. Not much in the way of utensils or crockery, but we didn’t intend to cook anyway. The bed linen was beautiful and obviously new, the pillows were so soft you sank into them. There were two televisions, one in the bedroom and one in the living area. Our room had a terrace which opened onto the pool. The sun loungers were the best I have ever seen from past accommodation. Very good quality wooden loungers with comfy padded cushions. The pool was beautifully clean and there was plenty of room for everyone. There was plenty of food for breakfast and was kept fully stocked. Also breakfast was 9-11 am so really good for if you fancied a lie in. All the staff were really friendly and helpful, quick to respond to any requests. Obviously a lot of money has been spent in this place and it really shows. Would definitely go back again as we absolutely loved our holiday here. Can’t believe our luck at finding this absolute gem.

Sadly the rooms and amenities are very poor, water pressure and temperature fluctuate ever few minutes making showering a constant challenge. Although self catering, basic cutlery and crockery encourages you to seek alternative options for meals. I understand that the owner will be redeveloping the site over the winter, this should have been done 10 years ago. The filters on the pool constantly blocked and caused the water level to keep flooding the sun lounge area. I would think long and hard before returning. 🤔
