Had the BEST time here. Staff so friendly, amazing food and cocktails, clean, lovely and relaxing etc etc. Could go on and on. Thank you so much to everyone on the team for making our holiday so special, the family run ethos really shines though. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful place. Our favourite Greek venue so far, we absolutely loved The Wave and the service we received. Our arrival in Corfu was delayed by more than four hours, so by the time we arrived it was 4am in the morning. There was no one to greet us at this time, but our room was all prepared and ready, with the key in the lock, drinks and snacks to replenish us, and a welcoming note from Nikos. What better reception could we possibly ask for? Nikos was equally welcoming in the restaurant later that morning when we had our late breakfast. He was keen to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We booked a two-bedroom ground floor family apartment, which came with two very good sized bedrooms, two shower rooms, very comfortable beds, and modern clean furniture. Outside was a large terrace with a large table and plenty of comfortable chairs. The terrace is east facing, so we were greeted daily with glorious morning sunshine, but also shaded from the hot Geek sun from 11am onwards. The location of our apartment at the far end of the building made it feel very private too. The Wave is a small hotel of about 17 apartments. Everything felt very friendly and secure, so we could just leave our belongings in our apartment and stroll from our terrace over to the pool and not worry about a long walk or having to lock the doors. The pool was generally very quiet. We had no trouble in finding sun loungers to sit on, even up to midday. The sea is also just over the other side of a quiet road, and was also very quiet and free from any crowds. The hotel is just the right distance from the centre of Sidari. An easy 15 minute walk would get us into the centre of the busy resort (which wasn't as noisy and tacky as I'd feared), but was far enough away that we could rest and sleep in peace. The hotel restaurant food was well priced and of very good quality, so we were more than happy to eat here. Our whole experience of The Wave was absolutley faultless, and I want to personally thank Nikos (and the three generations of his family that run the hotel) for creating such a relaxing and inviting holiday haven. We would definitely want to come back again.

Everything about this place is perfect! We had one of the bigger 2 bedroom apartments. The apartment was huge, very well equipped with nice touches such as wine glasses, corkscrew, citronella candles etc. We had two bathrooms and the showers are excellent. The beds were very comfy. Everything was very clean. We had an amazing furnished terrace overlooking the garden. The family who run this place are lovely. There are three generations and they cannot do enough to make your stay special. We were delayed and arrived in the middle of the night, I emailed them to let them know that we could make our own way to the room so they didn’t have to wait up for us. When we arrived they had left some essentials in our apartment (water, coffee, milk etc). This was really lovely of them. The pool is great, and the temperature just right for cooling off. There are plenty of comfy sunbeds for everyone. The pool bar and restaurant is fabulous. All the food is delicious and well priced. We ate here quite a few times. The hotel is in a lovely location. The area around is very quiet with an amazing sea view looking over to Albania. But it is a short walk into the centre of Sidari where there are lots of restaurants and bars. Some of them were a bit loud and touristy for us, but we did find a couple of fabulous restaurants with excellent Greek food; Memories and The Greek Village. There is a quiet little beach just to the left of the hotel where you can go for a peaceful swim without loads of tourists around. We have stayed in lots of family run hotels in Greece, and they are all lovely. But this is our favourite. We would definitely come back.

Our third visit to the wave and we can't wait to go back. From the moment you arrive Nikos and his team do everything to ensure your stay is as relaxing as it can be. Nikos work extremely hard and is available practically 24 hours a day! Nikos makes extra efforts to get to know you personally remembers your name and remembers your order preferences. The rooms are cleaned every day with all you could need their air con, kettle, hobs, a safe and very comfortable beds. The grounds and surrounding areas are well maintained and you cannot beat waking up to the lovely picturesque view of the sea. We could not fault the food that we had at the wave, we had breakfast everyday and ate their for the majority of our afternoon meals, we ate their one evening and it was the best meal we had whilst being in Sidari. We absolutely love the wave and cannot recommend it enough. We can't wait to come back!

To set the scene - 39ft from the sea with a stunning backdrop of the Albanian mountains in the horizon, to the back of the property there is a beautiful scenic view of the green hills lined with cypress trees among other trees. Nikos, Christos and their family are simply put fantastic hosts, complete professionals, you are always looked after. There has been an addition to the restaurant this year with a very talented chef, the food is consistent quality a full of flavour (my favourite was the chicken sovlaki - best is Corfu!). The restaurant is pretty full each evening, with guests & visiting tourists, locals from the area also eat here, the standard of service and food is excellent. The apartments are well maintained (cleaner attends daily) and very comfortable, I have given 5 stars for The Wave as it’s surrounding setting of the sea is beautiful, the staff are caring and attentive, and the site itself is a friendly relaxing environment. Bravo Nikos & the A-Team!!

Having recently returned from a vacation at The Wave in Sidari, I can confidently say that it was an unforgettable experience that surpassed all my expectations. The resort offered a unique and refreshing blend of modern luxury and authentic Greek charm, making it the perfect paradise for an extraordinary vacation. What sets The Wave apart from other resorts is its strong emphasis on preserving the natural beauty of the surrounding area. The design seamlessly incorporates elements of the local landscape, creating a harmonious and eco-friendly environment. It was heartening to see the resort's commitment to sustainability, making me feel good about choosing a place that cares about the planet. The staff at The Wave were incredibly warm and hospitable, making me feel like a valued guest from the moment I arrived. Their genuine smiles and attentiveness made me feel right at home, and they were always eager to share local tips and recommendations to enhance my stay. The accommodations were both stylish and comfortable, offering a serene escape after a day of exploration. Waking up to the breathtaking views of the sea from my room was a true delight. The attention to detail in the design and amenities made me appreciate the thoughtfulness put into every aspect of the guest experience. The resort's private beach was an absolute highlight for me. The crystal-clear waters and soft, sandy shoreline provided the perfect setting for relaxation and water activities. I spent hours sunbathing and swimming, feeling a sense of peace and serenity that can only be found in such a pristine location. While The Wave is undoubtedly a paradise for relaxation, it also caters to the adventurous souls. The array of activities available, such as water sports, guided excursions, and local cultural experiences, ensured that there was never a dull moment during my stay. The knowledgeable staff made sure I had an enriching and enjoyable time exploring the beautiful island of Corfu. Another aspect that impressed me was the dining experience at The Wave's restaurants. The variety of cuisines on offer, ranging from traditional Greek delicacies to international delights, catered to all tastes. Each meal was a delightful journey of flavors, and the attentive service made dining an exceptional experience. In summary, The Wave in Sidari is a hidden gem and a true paradise for vacationers seeking a unique blend of luxury, sustainability, and cultural immersion. It strikes the perfect balance between relaxation and adventure, making it an ideal destination for all types of travelers. My time at The Wave will remain etched in my heart, and I cannot wait to return to relive this magical experience once again

This amazing family run place has been owned and run by the same family for 40 years!! We have been returning for 10 years and already booked for next year. Every year they update something, the pool area, or the kitchens, or decor in the bedrooms. The location is fabulous for uninterrupted sunsets. The sea is literally on your doorstep and the pool area and garden are kept so pretty, comfortable and tidy. The restaurant has the most amazing traditional Greek home cooked food and covers breakfasts, lunches and evening meals. The beds are huge and SO comfortable, no flappy, annoying shower curtains in these bathrooms either!!! We absolutely love everything about The Wave, the whole family are so friendly, and it’s like going home when we return. So many people who book a holiday are returning visitors, it makes for a lovely, friendly atmosphere and we’ve made so many friends here. With a 10 minute walk you start hitting other bars and restaurants and the big commercial beach with free sunbeds. No1 for us without a doubt.

Had a lovely stay at The Wave. It is in a good location for Sidari away from the relative chaos of the centre, but in good walking distance of a few bars and eateries before you get to town. It’s a hard one to rate as I’d probably give it 3.75/5. Pros: Friendly owner Nikos who seemed to work every hour and was always on hand, helpful and friendly Peaceful pool area (most of the time) with loungers which always had some available Cocktails were great and good value. Full bar in site was open until about midnight Very quiet location by the sea (not much of a beach by it though) Room was nice and had a kitchen with kettle etc and balcony Cons: Lots of flies and mosquitoes in the room. Feels like the hotel could do more as we managed to reduced the amount ourselves using sprays and products we bought ourselves WiFi was a bit hit and miss Prices on the menu seemed to vary from what we were charged on occasions for food and drinks Food was decent but small portions for the price Noisy children sometimes ran riot at the pool and non guests seemed to bring kids along too which was annoying (seemed to be locals) Bathroom was a bit tired and cramped and some umbrellas at the pool seemed a bit broken, so some maintenance required All in all Sidari wasn’t for me so probably won’t be back here (unless you like about four tribute acts on rotation over the bars in town as entertainment), but The Wave is a decent place to stay. If they sorted the issues outlined it’d be great. Would recommend a private transfer from the airport if you can afford it as a shared coach can take over two hours each way.

We have just got home this week from staying 11 nights at the Wave Apartments. We had the most fabulous time staying there, Nickos and his family were the most amazing hosts from the time we arrived to the time we left. The Apartments are amazingly clean and so comfortable, we even had a king size bed. The ladies came in everyday to clean and change our towels and bedding. The food was all home cooked and just delicious. The location of the Wave Apartments is perfect, just a 10/15 minute walk along the sea front to the main town of Sidari . We met some lovely people and most of them have being coming back each year to the Wave and we can honestly see why, it truly is such a amazing place to stay. Thank you again to all the staff at the Wave for such wonderful memories of such a wonderful holiday. We will be back for sure. Teresa and Martin (June 23)
