We have just come back from staying at this hotel and we can honestly say we had a great time. Yes it is basic but it is very clean. We had room 103 on the ground floor which is classed as a 2 bedroom apartment (2 single beds in the main living space and 2 single beds in the bedroom with an additional bathroom), we were very pleasantly surprised the bedroom had an extra bathroom which was very handy. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the maid service is great, they came everyday to clean and empty bins, make the beds etc. Clean towels twice in the week we were there and beds changed once which we think is adequate for a week stay. Overall we had a great time, lovely location right by the sea peaceful by day and night but only 10 mins walk from the main strip but there are lovely bars and restaurants along the way. We ate at the Perros apartments next door for breakfast which was lovely 5 euros for a small breakfast with tea/coffee and toast with jam. We would definitely recommend anyone to stay here it's a fab hotel, we will definitely go back.

Just finished our 2 week stay at the beach star- 3 adults and 4 children aged 2,8,11 and 15. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. The rooms are a typical Greek affair but immaculately clean. The location is perfect right on the beach front - far enough from the main strip for some peace and a good nights sleep but close enough if you fancy something a little lively. Plenty of sun loungers either by the pool or on the beach and reasonably priced drinks/ ice creams and bar snacks available. Beach Star will be a firm favourite and we have already booked our stay for next year. Thank you for a lovely holiday ❤️

This is the perfect hotel for a grown-up getaway in Sidari, the staff were second to none, so lovely and friendly and the hotel was clean and really well maintained.
The only reason i went for very good over Excellent is because we really wanted somewhere that did food, and we booked this as most things say "Sidari beach hotel - Restaurant" This is not the case, both this hotel and next door are owned by the same family and you are expected to go next door to Waves to eat. This made time at the pool a little trickier with kids as when they wanted to eat, they could only have some ice cream from the fridge.
Loved the hotel, loved the location and can’t praise the staff highly enough.

It hasn’t been reviewed since 2020 on here (pandemic)
Stayed for 10 days June 2022 in room 306. The balcony and view is lovely, right on the beach front, but that’s where the positives end.
Plug sockets having off the wall and the ones that did work only worked when they wanted to. It’s advertised as self catering, but unless you’re eating cereal or sandwiches all week that isn’t true. The hob doesn’t get hot. After 4hrs trying to boil an egg we gave up.
My shower curtain was mouldy and the handle on the hairdryer hasn’t been wiped for months (Covid what?)
My mum had the room next door. She has 1 cup and no duvets, just sheets which had holes in them. I had 4 mugs and a duvet so I guess it just depends on the luck of the draw.
Staff friendly enough but a bit useless. More interesting In standing chatting to each other than working the tables around the pool for drinks, so you’ll have to go in and order at the bar. Not a massive issue, but not great.
My sheets were changed once in 10 days, and my mothers room didn’t even have a shower head. The shower curtains don’t touch the base, so your bathroom is flooded every time you have a shower.
AC is 5 Euro per day, but definitely needed otherwise the room is unbearable. No mosquito nets which is strange considering it’s next to a swap.
Would I stay again? Absolutely not. There’s much better accommodation for half the price.
Stay at your own risk.

A very pleasant family experience. It is a very simple aparthotel but very well located. To rest for a few days it is ideal. It is less than 100 meters from the sea. It is located on a closed street near the center of Sidari so it is very quiet, there are few people and you are very comfortable. If you want some movement, it is a 5-minute walk away. It's worth it because of how comfortable the place is.

We have returned so many times to this Hotel. The place is very basic and not recommended if you wish to live home from home self catering as the area is small and very basic utilities. But we absolutely love this Gem of a place for clean bedding, towels and housekeeping, but the magical thing about this place is its beautiful location , fantastic large well cleaned pool and sun bed area. Its location is the best its pool is set in the beach it’s stunning. A great low cost family location . Quiet and within walking distance of a range of bars & restaurants and for those wanting the strip a 10 minute walk . Nothing bad about it traditionally Greek!

The staff were so warm and friendly and made sure we were always comfortable, they have a nice pool and bar and the rooms were lovely. The cleaners cleaned the rooms everyday. The location of the hotel is also really convenient with supermarkets and many restaurants near by.

As a couple in our 50s, the tranquil location of the Beach Star was ideal. And yet it is only a 5 min walk to the main strip. Pool accross the road, right on the beach is excellent and no big race for sunbeds. The rooms are the usual basic greek affair but spotless and have everything you need. We had a sea view room which was a bonus. The staff at the Beach Star were very freindly and accommodating, providing great service throughout our stay. We intend to return next year.

As always really enjoyed the stay at the star beach, the staff were lovely and can never do enough for you, the room was cleaned every day and cleaning lady is lovely. We had a seaview room on the 3rd floor just beautiful. Great location,.lose enough to the strip, but, far enough away to enjoy to quietness. I really look forward to returning next year.

Just had a lovely week at the Beach Star. Our room 203 had a massive balcony over the restaurant with great pool/sea views. Very nice snack bar and friendly staff. Very quiet and peaceful around the pool. 5 mins walk into the main stretch. Sidari generally a nice place but it is quite dirty with lots of rubbish in the surrounding areas. The main problem is that the Beach Star is right next to a swamp, or as the locals say a nature reserve which is a big breeding ground for mosquitos. Couldnt use the balcony at dusk or leave the patio doors open. We had lots of bites even tho we were covered in deet. Otherwise lovely apartments...

Transfer is about an hour, book in advance for best price 20 euro ish. Pretty much the same anywhere on the north coast. Nearest supermarket is about 2 minutes walk
There are more places to choose from in the Sidari area.
