Gem of a place and perfect location.
Stayed the last week of September and it was our 1st visit to corfu.
We were greeted on arrival and shown to our room with absolutely no fuss or hassle, which pretty much sums up this place - laid back and chilled.
The rooms are basic but definitely good enough, very clean and all seem to have a good sized balcony overlooking everywhere.
Food at the bar was superb and cheap, bar staff lovely, breakfasts first class and sorely missed now we're back home. The guy who runs the bottom bar was very polite and helpful.
We tipped the cleaners regularly as they came daily towards the end of our stay, again they were also excellent.
Stayed round the pool most days and it was so quiet and chilled, loads of sunbeds available all day long.
The strip is a 50 metre walk over the road so all your needs within waking distance.
So we'd definitely recommend paradise and sidari, wouldn't hesitate to return.

These 2 and a half star apartments appear to be part of the Paradise Hotel complex which are built off to one side of it. They don't have a reception but it was easy just to walk into the Paradise for your safety deposit box and other services. The pool area was absolutely gorgeous, one of the biggest me and my friend saw whilst we were in Sidari, very clean and safe. There was loads of sunbeds and parasols plus a nice pool bar. It is in a brilliant location, right in the centre of the town so it wasn't far to get to the bars, shops, beach or pickup points for trips.

We travelled in late September so it was nice and quiet with mostly older couples and families but the nightlife of Sidari was never boring and the Paradise Hotel had lots of different events on each night such as kareoke, bingo and theme music evenings. The bars down the main streets often had shows on as well. There were plenty of great places to eat, something for everyone including English, Greek, Indian, Chinese and Italian. The Paradise Restaurant did a great English breakfast and you also got a 10% discount card to use there and a free careffe of wine - great!

The apartment was basic but very clean. The maid was wonderful and came in every day even though we were told she only came twice a week. All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The only problem was on our first day when we tried to use our stove and it blew up, giving my friend a mild electric shock. We asked for the faulty item to be replaced but after 3 hours it had not been done. We spoke to our travel rep who got it organised in around 5 minutes and it wasn't a problem. The beds were also a little hard, though I was informed this wasn't unusual!

In all I had a lovely stay and would highly recommend this to anyone who is holidaying on a budget - cheap and cheerful! We paid around £240 with Thomas Cook for one week and that included keeping the room on until 7pm (sadly we had a late flight of 2am!). Great value for money, would definitely go back again.

Came back on the 23rd July from a weeks stay at the paradise apartments with 2 friends. The complex is lovely. We never had a problem trying to find sunbeds by the pool. You could order food for lunch and they would bring it over to your sunbed for you and the bar there was reasonably priced, with 'happy hour' and specials e.g. sex on the beach cocktail for 3 euro. The safe is about a euro a day which is a very good price, which are held down at reception, where you can go and get stuff as many times as you liked, which was not a problem. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay very nice. Our rep Chris was also very good.
The room itself was basic but perfect for us, seeing as we werent in it at all apart from sleeping. Plenty of room and beds comfy. There was no toaster which was annoying and our shower was terrible, which was practically a trickle, but it was manageable and not a problem and a good room.
The paradise restaurant was lovely, and people staying at paradise got 25% off their food bill. You could get a greek special for about 6 euro sometimes. The greek night on a Sunday is a must too, the best in the area and a great, enjoyable evening.
The hotel is situated just close to the crossroad, and it's location was perfect. About a minute's walk straight ahead and you were at the beach. The beach was nice, but if you walk along about 10 minutes or so, you get to a beach with clear waters and very nice. Watersports, apart from the pedalo's were quite expensive. A good thing lots of restaurants on the seafront did, was if you ate in their restaurant the day before, you could use their sunbeds on the beach for free. Go right from the apartments and there is the surgery, restaurants etc, but if you turn left you are on the strip. There were so many restaurants, bars, shops, travel agents and 1 or 2 clubs too. Me and my friends (we are 18) found Sidari perfect because it wasn't as loud and horrible as your obvious Kavos/Malia/Magaluf etc, but it still had bars and clubs and we had a great time. Some of the promoters of the bars were a bit pushy, but they were fine really. Our favourite bar was 'Cargo', which we went to every night, sometimes for the whole night and sometimes only for a tiny bit, but it was great. The bar staff let us pour our own drinks sometimes, Ross and Chris outside used to get us good deals and free shots etc, and the DJ Ryan was lovely and played all the music we wanted. Lots of the bars did tribute acts too; we saw a Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, and a Ne-Yo and Bruno Mars shows -all good.
Saying this, Sidari isn't just for young people - it's for couples and families alike; a great mix. And the Paradise apartments were situated perfectly so you were so close to all the action, but far away enough that is wasn't noisy at night at all if you had young children. We never had a bad meal in any of the restaurants, and you could get a 3 course meal for well under 10 euros which was great. Ones I would reccommend would be Memories on the main strip and Doretheas restaurant on the sea front on the corner.
We booked our trips with the first travel agent on the right hand side of the strip as they were a lot cheaper than Thomas Cook. We went on a boat trip (Odyseuss BBQ boat) which went from Kassiopi. The boat gives a little tour of the coast line, it stops so you can jump off the boat and swim, before getting back on and stopping at a paradise beach. There was a big BBQ, you got to relax, and play organised beach games on rounders, tug of war and the infamous Ouzo game! A great full day out.
We also went on a horse-riding trip, and went inthe evening 7-9, which was a great time, as we could see the sunset, and it was a 2 hour trek in Roda, the next town, through olive groves and the beach. All trips pick you up by coach from outside paradise apartments and take you back there as well, so nothing to worry about.
All in all, I would definitely go back, and would love to again. Perfect location as was busy and lively, but still perfect for families too. Paradise apartments were fantastic too.
Any questions, please ask :)

It was an awful experience. The hotel id dirty and very cold in the night, I couldn’t sleep. It’s old fashioned and very poor quality. Francis and Maria are horrible people who mistreat everyone. Francis is abusive and offensive. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, even my worst enemy.

Just returned from Paradise hotel. Stayed for two weeks from 3rd-17th October. First day hotel seemed great as the other reviews state. Clean pool ect. However after a few days staff decided it was time to close up despite us still having 8 full days of holiday remaining. Reception area was closed. All sunbeds and parasols were removed. Pool filters turned off and cleaning of the pool stopped. Pool bar closed. No one available when requiring help with any issues. Three days before leaving the hot water was turned off. After demanding this be turned back on due to having a 1 year old with me staff attitude was appauling. Adding pictures of pool area ect as evidence. This hotel may be great during season but I recommend no one visits in October despite them claiming on websites and in Thomas Cook brochures to be trading until 31st October this is completely untrue.

Paradise Apartments were nice but staff attitude within the Paradise hotel were disgusting. Frances was lovely and so very helpful- a credit to this hotel. Our family will certainly not
return to this hotel in the future, we have stayed at this hotel for some considerable years.
In addition our family have spend a considerable amount of money daily, our elderly
parents who also travel with us to this hotel twice a year were also very hurt by the staff
attitude.

We returned from the Garvanos apartments on the 23rd June after a two week stay and I can advise that we have already looked at booking for later this year and potentially next year too.
we were a couple who were travelling with some neighbours (also a couple) and we were running cautious after readin reviews on here.

The room could not have been any better, it was a lovely size and had a full kitchen area. For anyone who has visited Greece and in particular Corfu before they will know that the facilities are very basic. Yes the shower was small but not the smallest I have experienced. the rooms were cleaned every day, towels changed every other day and bedding once a week.
to say we were close to the strip, there was no problem with noise. However I would recommend a plug in adapter for mossies.

The view was beautiful. The pools were cleaned every night, without fail. The pool bar and hotel staff were all very friendly. Only a short walk away from the strip and 2 beaches. Walking to the Canal d'amour is about 20 minutes so good location, ground flat rather than hills.

Lots of lovely bars, not too nightclubby, drinks cheap, food very cheap. I would recommend BED bar for breakfasts and China Town for an evening meal. Bolero bar is now under new management and is a fantastic Irish bar with friendly and welcoming staff (and Guinness on draft). One for the Road is also a good british / greek bar with great entertainment every night, and friendly staff.

I would and have recommended this place to friends. Thinking back, there were several residents that have returned year after year to these apartments, so that must say something :)

What a delightful hotel. We were originally booked into the Garnavos Apts but were upgraded free of charge when we arrived into the Paradise Apps.
They are situated right on the edge of the strip which is ideal.
All the staff were exceptionally polite and helpful and really friendly
The apartment was spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean.
The two pools are well set out very clean good sunbeds and plenty of parasols.
Bar service and the food they sell is good and competitively priced.
There was no noise from the strip and we would definitely return.
