Very nice, comfortable, and quiet place to stay. Especially if you are not interested in staying in the hotel and watching tv, but to spend your time outside. All you need is a clean room, your own bathroom and very comfortable bad. Breakfast is served in a very nice restaurant, 3 minutes walk from hotel (using a voucher). You can... More

We got a very clean room. Breakfast is served in a close-by local restaurante and it was very good (using a voucher). We'd return to this hostal, for sure. Quite atmosphere. The wifi doesn't reach well up to the 2nd floor, though.

The room was clean and the breakfast which is at another location close by was good. It was very quiet and it is located near the city center. Staff was friendly and helpful. Free WiFi is available and included.

The rooms are small, the tv is too and the image of the cable is rainy. I liked the place but as other people said the shower flow between freeze or burn, unless you're wary of it. We liked the: we don't bother you with check times if you warn us policy that they have. Setting that aside, the rooms... More

The cheapest place to stay according to the lonely planet, but this cheapness comes at a cost. Rooms are very small, hairs from former guests still on the walls in the shower, shower dances between cooking hot and chilling cold and the 'including breakfast' is misleading; it consists of one cup of cheap coffee, that's literally all. With COP 120.000... More

This place was great. Very clean. Very close to the main plaza. The breakfast is included and it is a great meal. The only negative is that when showering you need to let them know so that they can turn on the cold water otherwise you'll be showering with extremely hot water. Turning the cold water makes this very loud... More

This lovely and cozy little hotel was just what I needed. The room was perfect: comfortable full bed with nice mattress and sheets, a little and clean private bathroom (make sure to bring a soap, they don't include it) with hot water and a pretty decoration. It has pretty good wifi if your room is close to the front desk.... More

Very cozy place. It's really close to the main square of the town. Very cheap and staff were very friendly. Plenty of places to eat around. Parking is right in front of the place so no need to leave your car out on the street. Villa de Leyva isn't as cold as I expected

We stayed two nights there in May 2013 and we liked it. Simple, clean and quiet ( at least in May ) , it is well located. The room, upstairs, was small but adequate and the hot shower was sufficient once you get a feel on how to make it work better .

I stayed here in 2007, so my review is a little dated, but I just wanted to chime in with my positive impressions of this place. I was travelling with relatives, and a shopkeeper suggested Don Paulino's as a good place to stay. Villa de Leyva is an expensive town, and we were absolutely thrilled to discover this place. It...
