the nya park is very close to railway station, the lake and the main town. nice friendly staff, good clean rooms, had a good experience here, full marks to the staff, good view of the canal from the front on the hotel

This is a very inexpensive hotel by Norwegian standards. As one would expect the location near the railroad tracks does involve a little train noise. Once you get past the exterior and lobby the rooms are a surprise. The beds are comfortable, the room is clean, the bath looks recently refurbished, and the breakfast is more than adequate. This is an out-of-the-way hotel in a low-profile community. We stayed here as hotels in nearby communities happened to be booked. However, it worked out quite well. The hotel is rather old and the corridors looked rather tired. However, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and everything was in good condition. As the hotel is rather small, the breakfast buffet...

Rather run down little hotel, but the rooms and bathrooms are clean, the breakfast good and the staff charming! Close to the harbour and train station. We had some trouble getting the wifi working in the room and after 8 pm the front desk is closed, but at this price, I'd definitely stay here again.
