We came across this seaside taverna whilst walking along the beach. From what we see and hear these apartments are beautifully kept and have retiring customers year after year. It is behind the quieter strip so good access to bars and restaurants. We hire a subbed for the day and this gives you free access to the pool area and toilets. The taverna looks out on the beach and you can enjoy bar snack like burgers, chips as well as traditional Greek salad (yum) and a daily special which was Greek stiffado when we visited. The bar sells quality beers, sprits and cocktails at good prices. I always have a pina colada and it is fantastic served in a pint glass and why not !!! So to mama Nicki, what an added bonus, she will ensure your subbed is sand free and facing the sun, she will hammer in umbrellas and rake the sand. What a lady. The sun beds are 6€ a day but worth the experience. Can’t wait to see you again next year and my pint of pina. Lovely views, seaside, sun beds, food and a drink a lovely day by the beach sunbathing, snorkelling, so relaxing.

From the moment we arrived till we left a week later, we had a great time at the hotel and it’s surroundings. All of the staff from Mumma who does not stop all day sorting out the areas and beach beds to the other staff in the bar etc who are all friendly.
The rooms are spacious and simple, with a decent balcony.
Situated a short walk from the busy strip and many small supermarkets, bars and restaurants is a bonus, but can get noisy at times with the young guys and girls coming back in the early hours of the morning to this hotel or to those hotels either side. However, the hotels is still far enough away so that it is relaxing and quiet most of the time. Pool is clean and lovely, but the 5 second walk to the beach is better. Soft sandy beach, and really shallow and warm water is ideal for everyone and especially those with kids.
All in all, a great weekend just relaxing in the sun.
Recommend getting up early to see the sunrise coming over the hills on the mainland to the east.

The stavros is a family run business that have made us feel at home, nothing was to much for them. The rooms are very clean and spacious with a kitchenette and shower room and cleaned a couple of times week. The beds are comfy and the pillows are a little bit of heaven. Situated right on the beach it is ideal for young families to enjoy. The stavros pool is clean and tested daily by stavros himself. The food at the stavros was lovely and they were very accommodating to our needs. All the staff at the stavros are polite and friend and make you part of there family. Away from the busy strip of Kavos so apart from during the day from surrounding hotels the is no noise stopping you from sleeping of a night. We will definitely be coming back.

We came across this perfectly placed bar on the beach. We were attracted by the sun-loungers for rent and a dear little lady raking the sand, positioning the loungers and hammering in the sun shades with a large stone, her energy would put some of us to shame.’ Mumma’ was the icing on the cake for our last day in Kavos. We lay on the loungers listening to the sound of the waves, then had a cocktail ( pina colada in a pint glass it was lovely) a Greek salad husband had a burger and I had a bacon sandwich we just wanted a snack and they we delicious. Served in fresh rolls. We will definitely be back next year and spend a couple of days here on the beach and do some snorkelling between. There is a hotel also that you can find on booking.com that appears to be are of good quality by what we could see. We have a place we stay regular in Kavos but this would be exactly a place we would recommend ( sun-loungers are free to hotel guests and €2 each and €1 for sun shade, well worth it for the day).

I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. It is situated on the beautiful clean sandy beach on the southern tip of Corfu. The modern rooms are spotlessly clean as is the bar and pool area. The food is a good standard, make sure you try the 'Special of the day' You will not be disappointed, as a chef I am not easily pleased! I may add also the owners themselves are extremely hospitable and nothing is too much trouble. 5 stars! Will definitely return.

Another visit to this hotel was not disappointing. Again, fantastic service and beautiful friendly family who run the apartments. Plenty of space in the studios, just the showers need to be re-designed so you can get in them. Bar and food were excellent. Straight onto the beach from the bar, just a little disappointing that you stay there but have to pay to use the sunbeds on the beach. Pool lovely and clean and very inviting. By the end of a hot day it is like getting into a bath. The quiet stip is literally a few steps away, the very lively strip is about a 5 minute walk. There are amazing restaurants and bars along both strips. Would recommend and will definately be back again. Thank you

Modern clean comfortable! Next to the wave you look at the boats and the continent. Tasso’s cocktails at the bar compete for his beautiful smile! What if you eat delicious food from Mom Hope? You'll lick your fingers too! There's also traveling music in the pool. GO!!

Don’t go unless you’re a wild teen. I was ashamed to be British. Gas cylinders, weed, you name it. Without the youth drug culture who partied right through the night and morning, it was paradise. The hotel brothers who owned the place were great, beach and excursions great, but I would rather have died than to have gone through this. The clueless young thugs run the place and they enjoy their time away from mummy and daddy to generally intimidate. Our bus was even late to leave for The airport as one of the brothers needed to resolve a dispute about the kids who smashed their room up! What a terrible shame, so let down
