Me and my friend stayed here for 7 nights and i feel the online image of the hotel doesn’t do it justice! I was so shocked.
The room was very clean and well looked after as with the pool and all facilities.
The food was beautiful! Ranging from English meals to traditional greek meals they really took the quality of their service with pride and ensured we had the best stay.
The bar staff (night and day), manager, cleaner were very welcoming and made me feel comfortable straight from the off.
I’ve made a friend for life with yanis and I’ll surely be back next year!

My sister and I stayed here with my two children towards the end of August, and if you can do math you would calculate that, that was when a stag party of 19 had been booked in by jet2.

Firstly, their reviews are dumbfounded and unrealistic of the situation and anyone with half a brain cell would operate in a more adult manner than they did! Yannis and all the team did all they could and more to make everyone feel welcome despite this.

Negativity over, the hotel was clean and presentable on arrival. And Yannis and the team were very welcoming.

The food here was great value for money, and my youngest even enjoyed the highchair despite being strong-willed. (I think it was that gentle persuasion he had!)

Location wise it's a little further out than I expected, but we all enjoyed a little walk to the Lake nearby and certainly appreciated how quiet it was on an evening (before the stag do arrived!)

As for the review about the stray pets, they must have never been abroad before!

We miss you all team Oula!

This hotel is perfect for groups of friends and also for family/couple stays. For context, I was here with 3 of my female friends on a girls holiday (we are all 20).
The hotel was only around a 10 minute walk from the main strip of Kavos and from the beach. This was perfect in my opinion as it allowed us to go out and experience the nightlife whenever we chose while still being able to come home to a more quiet and removed hotel where we could relax by the pool and sleep in peace.
The hotel itself was beautiful and had plenty of room by the pool so there was always more than enough lounge chairs for everyone. The staff at the hotel were absolutely incredible! They truly make you feel at home and are there to help you with any concern you may have. Food and drink in the hotel were at very affordable prices and many of the guests (including myself) agreed that the food was honestly some of the best in the whole city!
I truly cannot recommend this hotel enough, if you are on the edge about whether to book, do it! I can assure you won’t regret it. Myself and my friends have already decided we will be back next year as i genuinely cannot fault anything that was under the jurisdiction of the hotel.
I’d like to give a thank you to all the staff of the hotel for making my trip to Kavos one my favourite holidays ever and always doing whatever they could to make sure we were having the time of our lives.
As is said before, Best. Hotel. Ever.

We booked Oula last year for my family of 5 to celebrate both my wife’s 50th Birthday and also our Pearl Wedding anniversary. Both Yanni and Emma made us all feel very welcome and even sorted out a lovely Birthday cake as requested by my daughter, throughout our stay they could not do enough for us!

The Hotel is ideally situated within walking distance of Kavos but also far enough away to not be effected by the noise which is why we chose the Hotel, so my wife and I could chill in the evenings while my grown up children could go and party if they wanted to.

The food and drink choice in the hotel were plenty and high quality at a very good price, the full English breakfast which was a lot to eat was only 2.90 Euro’s. There are also some great local restaurants within a short walking distance where we had some excellent food,The Rose Tree which is just around the corner from the hotel was my favourite but the Village and Tex Mex are very good value for money.

We also met some great people at the hotel and as a couple both in our 50’s we had some good laughs with some of the younger groups, there was a group of 4 lads from Liverpool staying by us that adopted us as holiday Mum and Dad for a laugh which we found very funny. The people staying at the hotel varied from Families young and old, couples and group’s and in general everybody was well behaved and respectful but due to the two poor comments given below mine which are clearly the opinions of people who were staying as part of a stag party of 19 men from Bradford who could not behave and were quickly dealt with by both the hotel and jet 2 please do not let their comments put you off!

Looking forward to going back again in future as the hotel and its team totally exceeded our expectations! Thank you both Yanni and Emma for helping us all have a lovely holiday in these challenging times👍

I was a little bit worried about visiting here after reading the reviews. Some good, some awful. Tbh I wasn’t expecting a lot, haven’t been to Greece in around 10 years and now enjoy my 5 star all inclusive hotels but wanted to go back to how we spent our first holiday abroad 30 years ago - cheap and cheerful.

First impressions were good, arrived at 3am. Guy on reception was nice and showed us to our room. Room was basic but that’s exactly what I expected. You will get a maid every day and beds will be made with fresh sheets. You will get clean towels every day and loo rolls replaced.

Self catering facilities ok to make a bit of breakfast and you have a fridge with ice box. Safe is 10 euro a week which we hired, air conditioning is 10 euro a day. We didn’t have it but left the window open. Electric prices in Greece are very high so I understand why they need to charge.

2 single beds for me and my husband and our 14 year old daughter was on a sofa bed. She didn’t moan at all about being uncomfortable. Shower bloody awful, after the first one you realise don’t bother with the curtain. But it’s a hot shower and a clean towel so that’s all that matters.

The staff are really really lovely and this is what makes the place. Everyone is so nice. The two ladies at the bar for morning breakfast are a credit to you. Yanis is a lovely man and is around most the day if you have a problem he will sort it.

Food is so good and very reasonably priced. We ate breakfast here every morning, plus lunch most days. Never had the evening meal but they looked good. Drinks were cold, and again very well priced.

Location was spot on for us. 10 mins walk into kavos town. Out the apartment turn right a lovely walk upto the stunning lake. Half hour walk to the secret beach, 10 mins to watersports, 10 mins to supermarket.

This holiday by far was the cheapest holiday we have had, wasn’t expecting much but we have had a wonderful time. We will certainly be going back again for sure and have told all our friends and family about this place too.

The BEST thing about this hotel is the staff. So friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Natalie, was especially helpful to us when we asked to change our room.

The worst things about this hotel are the showers and the awful Aircon. You have to pay 10€ per night for AC. It's disruptively noisy throughout the night, not especially cool - it was consistently cooler outside in the morning than a room that supposedly had the benefit of AC going all night.

The showers are dreadful. It's one step up from washing in a stream. No screen/curtain. Water gets everywhere. Only one towel per person, they're very thin, not changed often enough either. Beds were uncomfortable.

The grounds of the hotel are kept beautifully and it looks lovely. The food is a fair price for what is essentially pub grub.
The hotel is a short walk from the town, but Kavos was not our sort of town. More fool me for not doing my research. For the price paid the holiday was fine. Corfu town is lovely though, it's an hour and a half away via the cheap local bus from Kavos. Well worth going. Beautiful buildings and streets, nice shops and cafes etc. Historical places to visit, both Fortresses are well worth going to.

Well what can I say the Oula Maisonettes is an amazing little gem, a short 10 minute walk to the beach and centre. We had a fabulous two weeks here, couldn’t of asked for more. The staff are all so nice and friendly (Manager, bar staff, cooks, cleaners, gardeners). It was all down to these people to make our holiday and of course the families we met there staying at Oula.
A big thank you to Yannis you certainly know how to make your guests happy and run your hotel 5* you always make sure your guests are looked after even if you did pinch my fan haha (private joke between us) so thank you Yannis for your kindness. The bar staff Nikos and Jenny you run the bar to perfection and everything else that goes alongside keeping the bar ticking over your friendliness with your guests and keeping us all happy. The cooks well the food you prepare and serve up was amazing and so tasty, never had a bad meal so thank you, we don’t usually stay in we like to venture out so that says it all as we stayed in lots of times. Cleaners you worked so hard to keep rooms clean and provided us with clean bedding every couple of days and fresh towels daily so thank you. Gardeners looked after the beautiful gardens that surrounded the apartments. We met some amazing people staying there from up north to down south, had some laughs with you all, it was like a little community and made the holiday extra special to have such nice people around us so thank you to you for being apart of our fantastic holiday at Oula, we even became a holiday Auntie and Uncle haha. We will definitely recommend Oula to people and will return ourselves.
Missing you all already was very sad to leave. Keep up the good work Oula.😘

So happy when we arrived to be staying in such a lovely place. Greater straight away with a smile & all the information we needed. Lovely clean little basic room, which was all we needed for a a/c stay. There’s a hot tub, Sauna, Pool with the pool bar serving good priced drinks & a great selection of very tasty food. We do not normally bother staying at the accommodation much when we holiday, but we loved it so used the pool, sunbeds, are there & Met lots of great people. Quite a few go back again & again. It’s a short walk to the main part of Kavos with lots of bars & restaurants. We found an amazing restaurant called Olympia which the locals use. Amazing value food & drink. I have a huge swordfish meal for €11 with a large glass of wine for €1.50, we went back a few times. Another place sold the Best meatballs, but the restaurant had no name. It’s opposite the great Streetz bar where we enjoyed great entertainment from a Drag night to an awesome Bruno Mars tribute. We mainly went to Maria’s Karaoke bar every night as so Fun, great priced drinks, free shots & very welcoming from Maria to all that work with her. The beaches are close in different directions with water sports & lots of space to find somewhere to lay whether a sunbed or on the sand. Take a walk up to the Monastery (Steep hill & uneven, but certainly worth it) then walk down & along to the best beach we found then walk back down & stop for a pint, homemade wine & food at a little shack ran by a lovely old man. (Forgot his name Opphs) We done a boat trip to Antipaxos & Paxos, so Beautiful & definitely worth seeing between €35-€40. We also paid to be taken to Corfu Town €15-€20, an amazing day with shops, sea, lots of beautiful buildings & a castle etc. The transfer was about an hour from the airport, we loved our holiday, we are a couple, but also great with friends I’d be careful if with family, kids as lots of balloons being taken by mainly teenagers, I think it would be manic in the height of the season, so just out of season was best for us💛

Amazing holiday with Mom and friend. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean but basic. When we arrived we were put in a room with a spiral staircase which wasn't ideal for us. The next morning with no fuss we had our room changed to a more accessible room. Nothing was too much trouble. Even when I ordered food that was not on the menu! Thanks Yannis, best dirty fries ever!!
Food was good here and portions were huge with low prices.
Hotels grounds were spotless and well tended and from talking to other guests it seems to be a hotel that you go back to time and again.
Only issue for me was wasps and mosquitos! Ended up at Dr's due to allergic reaction the mozzie bites and Yannis frequently checked I was OK.

Have already looked at going back next year.

I booked a holiday at the Oula Maisonettes for a good value self catering holiday. The rooms were basic, but clean and functional.
There is a pool bar which serves a good range of snacks and meals until around 10pm. The pool and area are kept nice and clean, as well as the garden areas around the apartments.
But what made the difference was the staff, all of them were very friendly and helpful….nothing was too much trouble. If you are wanting quieter evenings and nights try and book a room at the back of the complex away from the pool area, as there is often music and partying around the bar and pool area in the evening. The complex is about a 15 minute walk to the bars and tavernas of Kavos.
