Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This hotel is a disgrace, we were told by Club 18-30 that this was an "upgrade" on our original booking....To start, the fridge was rusted, the taps on the sink were covered in "something" green, the beds were broken, the mattresses were absolutely vile with blood stained sheets, The pillows were moldy and paper thin. The toilet was broken and wouldn't flush, the shower barely functioned and when it did the water was freezing, the drain in the centre of the bathroom stunk and when you showered a liquid of some sort started to come out (our "rep" later on informed us, after asking I might add, that there was a problem with plumbing in our building and that we should just "chuck some bleach down it"). Last but by no means least, the AC unit, had a USED woman's sanitary towel in it. The staff are rude and aggressive towards any visitors, stay well out their way if you really absolutely must stay here. I've honestly tried to be fair, because who goes on holiday to sit in a hotel? But this place is honestly vile, it's disgusting, it stinks and in all honesty is downright dangerous for human habitation...and that's by the standards of Kavos! Honestly, only ever stay at this place if you're being paid for it, even then, I'd get the money upfront...

Me and my friend were here end of august for 2 weeks and the hotel was pretty basics but we paid next to nothing for 2 weeks so we weren't expecting anything extravagant, just somewhere to rest our heads. We were in the block next to Billy's shop and we were left to our own devices really, no one was in the hotel with us other than other guests, you get what you pay for however I had the best time and met amazing people within the hotel! The rep Rich was an absolute gem and helped us out a lot and informed us of everything that was going on & was a great laugh - couldn't have asked for a better rep! The people and the reps make the holiday, people need to remember that your hotel is just somewhere to sleep and shower, if your spending all your time in your hotel then you shouldn't be in Kavos!

I have seen some bad reviews of this hotel. I was nervous about going but when I got there it was fine. The hotel is split into 3 blocks. I was in the block near Billy's shop the cleaner came in everyday. It is standard for what you get I didn't have any problems when I stayed there. This hotel is right at the strip so you are a two minute walk not even that to the pubs and clubs. I met amazing people there and it made it all the better. I would Definelty recommend buying the wrist band with club 18-30.

Just returned from a weeks holiday in kavos. Upon entering the hotel our rep who was a complete legend checked us in at like 3am. At first I thought what the hell have I come to, but upon looking at the room for £200 it wasn't that bad. Had everything I needed, I wasn't planning on doing much sleep due to how mental I was going. Rich aka Connor McGregor was a complete ledge. Wasn't pushy and understood our needs which is what a rep should do, just say the boy with the love bites from Leeds and he will know who your talking about. Cleaners come round about 5 times in a week, hotel management were really friendly, prices at the bar for food and drink were spot on. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel, but don't be expecting luxury because your in kavos, its a dive is the place, but you meet some amazing people out there!!

We got there at 5am and found it all locked up and nobody around, we thought that we would have to spend the night on the floor, but eventually after a load of knocking the owner came out. The rooms are very basic, the bathroom was gross. There wasn't a shower holder so you had to hold the shower on yourself, the water went everywhere and not only flooded the bathroom but flooded the bedroom as well. The toilet didn't flush and was leaking, you had to pay for your toilet paper and there was no towels. Air con was 40 euros for the week, and they take a 50 euro deposit at the start. HOWEVER, with all that being said we still had a lovely time and the pool was nice, we didn't stay in the hotel much and only really went there for a shower and to sleep so if you're not looking to spend a lot of money and just want some sunshine and a beach, it's completely fine. We didn't expect much for the price we paid so don't have any high hopes and you'll have a good time! (the wifi was free and we got lucky with our room being right above it so we had good wifi all week!)

Came to Kavos to get away after a rubbish year! Kalimera studios are dreadful, not completely clean, have to ask for towels, don't change the sheets etc . The pool is dreadful and so is the music round it..The guy that owns it what can I say explicit language required! Apart from being a bit rowdy having water fights.. singing etc we weren't what I'd say terrible guests which u get in kavos.. it's our last day here and he wouldn't give me my 50euro deposit on the room back because there was makeup on the bedding! Wouldn't give me my passport unless I actually left the hotel and don't get picked up till 11pm at night.. This has no bearing on the Club 18-30 reps they were fantastic all the way through.. but never ever again n I wouldn't recommend it.. !!!

Sadly I Wouldn't recommend this hotel! We stayed in number 20, The room flooded most of the time when the shower was in use! As the water came out of the drain, did inform the rep but nothing was done about it! In the end the cleaner left us the mop and bucket and we had to mop the bathroom/ bedroom and hallway every time it happened! And no I'm not exaggerating the water was everywhere so make sure nothing valuable is on the floor! The room could do with fresh paint and the plug sockets need replacing as some were hanging from the wall! The hotel is split and we had to walk across the road up to the main part of the hotel to even use the pool and wifi! The cleaner did come around everyday apart from one day, no towels were supplied though so take your own. Was a cheap hotel so wasn't expecting the Hilton but at the same time didn't expect it to be this bad! The shop keeper who I believe runs the hotel was nice, gave helpful advice regarding the mosquitos, and I would recommend getting the air con. Was in a good location.

Me and my 4 other rag tag bunch of friends decided in March that we were going to go to our third lads holiday however we needed it to be cheap as we're all skint because none of us can say no to a nightout even though we need to save up money. Anyway, we came across this absolute gem of a hotel for just under 350 and decided that yes, we needed to snap this absolute bargain of a hotel before someone did. When we arrived, we were going to get a minibus and just miss our transfers however a minibus costs 120 euros so we didn't want to get. We pulled up to this absolute gem of a hotel. The rooms are basic and before I go on I must say PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE buy a mosquito plug from the supermarket for 5 euro and PLEASE check your bed for bed bugs because I look like I've come back from vietnam after a week in that bed. The self-catering facilities are alright, you get a kettle, 2 forks and a spoon. We had Vicky and Adele as our reps and, as a group, we couldn't fault those absolute angels. Yes, Adele could probably improve on her dancing and yes, Vickys voice does go through you but you get used to it after a while but they were amazing, they helped us to the AMAZING events, answered our queries perfectly, made us all feel welcome with their open, warm, equal approach to us all. I would not go back to Kalimera, however if you told me Vicky and Adele were there I would seriously consider it!

Booked through Club 18-30 and paid next to nothing for the holiday so was not expecting much. Having just returned a week or so ago, I felt compelled to write a review...I am not the kinda guy to moan and have travelled a fair bit. There are three buildings to this hotel, one of which has the pool and bar. The other two are a short distance away. The rooms are basic, as you would expect but do the job for a "clubbing" holiday. They are also cleaned every other day by a lovely Greek lady, the owner is also a decent bloke who let us store our suitcases in his unopened supermarket on the last day. Kavo`s itself is decent, lots of places to drink and places to eat and ticks the clubbing holiday box perfectly. The only fault with this hotel and Club 18-30 is the two reps who are present and still will be at this hotel if your travelling this season. They will try and con you out of 180+ Euros on your first day by having a so called "welcome meeting". Anyone who has done Club 18-30 before will know about this. They don`t take NO for an answer and will try every sales trick in the book to get you to hand over your money even though you have barely been on the island two minutes. If you dare sign up to these events, you will be stuck in a holiday where your on THEIR time schedule and it will feel like you back at secondary school! Drinks at events are also heavily watered down at the so called free bar at the foam party event. So my advice, is plan ahead and do your own thing - you can still book events through other means such as direct through club website or the club reps. There is also plenty of Club-Bars which have good drink deals and have a far better atmosphere. Overall then: Hotel is basic, but good location on the strip, Kavo`s has everything you need to have a decent time with your mates! BUT do not hand over any money for the events organised by Club 18-30 reps, they work on commission and do not care about your holiday experience at all.
