Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My fiancé and I stayed at this hotel in September, and I felt it pertinent to share my thoughts on the overall holiday, relating to the hotel specifically. First of all, I had emailed ahead of time a special request, for a bottle of Prosecco to be in our room upon arrival in celebration of our anniversary. The staff delivered on this, and it was a lovely opening to our stay. We had arrived quite hungry, with our flight being extremely early, but arriving after breakfast was finished, so ordered food at the pool bar. We had planned to eat by the pool but the wasp situation was too much for us, so we took our food to our room instead, to eat on our balcony. There's not a lot that can be done about this, so perhaps stock up on insect repellent. We were half board, and were supremely impressed with dinner that evening. The entire stay we made sure to dine at the hotel for evening meals, such was the quality of it. However, I feel breakfasts were a bit of a let-down, and after exploring the options available the following morning we opted to just not bother with them, instead eating out for breakfasts/lunches. It is entirely possible we just timed our arrival bad, but the selection available for half board breakfasts did not seem that plentiful. The rooms themselves were, for the most part, suitable to our needs. We paid for the air conditioning, which was a necessity in the heat and would encourage all to do, but I personally did not find the beds that comfortable, waking up with quite the sore back each morning. My partner had no such issues, so perhaps it is down to whether you like a firm mattress or not (I guess my back does not). Every time you shower it tends to flood the bathroom too, and we had a lot of extra guests in our room with ants all over the place. But despite these minor issues, I have no genuine complaints with the room and they were maintained quite regularly by the staff. Speaking of the staff, they must be commended for ensuring guests have an enjoyable time, and constantly are hosting activities to entertain everyone, every day, whether in the lounge or by the pool. We experienced a magnificent Greek barbecue night, which saw people dancing with professionals, smashing plates and enjoying a mighty fine feast, Greek style. The hotel is located a few minutes' walk from the beach, and despite the reputation Kavos has the hotel itself is at the bottom end of the strip, perhaps away from the apparent madness it is known for. This suited us perfectly as we were there for a relaxing time, rather than a crazy time! The area felt secluded and yet within easy reach of nearby bars and restaurants, If anyone is planning on going to Kavos I cannot recommend this hotel enough, purely because I feel the staff will genuinely bend over backwards to cater to your needs and deliver if they can. While I did list a couple of issues, these are minor ones, and should we end up returning to Kavos in the future we'll be coming back here.

We traveled as a group of 6 females. 2 friends with 2 mums and 2 daughters (so 3 generations ranging in age from 21 to 73) What really makes this hotel special is the staff and entertainment team. This is the friendliest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I suggest to get the best holiday experience that you embrace the fun on offer. We stayed 4 nights and joined in with bingo, a Greek night and karaoke. I’d normally shy away from this kind of thing but honestly, please join in the fun. The Manager is hands on and his energy filters all the way down through every member of staff. Everyone is focused on making sure you’re enjoying your holiday. I recommend eating here too. The food is freshly cooked, well priced and service is good. Rooms are basic but clean, sun beds are a little harsh on the backside but we just nipped out and bought lilos to use as mattresses. The pool area has a very chilled vibe and the pool snack bar offers great good value snacks. Morfeas, I’ve stayed in lots of 5 Star hotels and can honestly say my stay with you guys beats them all. Thank you for making our holiday 10/10. Hope to see you soon x

We had a lovely break in Kavos in the Morfeas Hotel. Travel from the Airport is around 2hours 30 mins due to drop off to other hotels. Once we arrived at the hotel we were made welcome by Joy. We were allocated our room i believe was 24B. There was a spiral staircase to navigate and there isn't a lift which made it slightly difficult to get to our room with our suitcases. This is the only issue I would have with this hotel. There is entertainment every night which is hosted by the manager. We really enjoyed the Greek night which was amazing fun. Food in the restaurant was really good. There is a residence Dj on site who played great tunes. The bar is open 24/7 if your that way inclined. At the time of year there is a mixture of young and old which was a great mixture of guests. The hotel is situated at one end of the strip. I would recommend a visit, the only negative is the journey from the airport to the hotel.

Rooms are what you pay for. Had a twin room which was cleaned every day. Has a fridge, freezer and a safe. Have to pay €50 for air con but it's worth it. Pubs, bars, shops and the beach are all within a 5/10 min walk. When we arrived had a "welcome meeting" with Akis and Joy which was fantastic. Advised places to go and avoid. Don't book excursions before you go as they know the best ones and they get them cheaper. Our favourite was "The Beautiful South" with Genie Tours -Lizzie knows so much about the island. Greek night was fantastic, and they have entertainment on every night. Shout out to Principul the DJ who hyped everyone up with great tunes as well. Bar's open 24/7. Had the best week - staff go above and beyond to make your holiday special!

The hotel was clean and relatively well kept, but not without some maintenance faults or issues that my friend and I had. Had to pay 50 euros for aircon which we did not appreciate. Deposit has to be made for the remote control for the tele so we didn't use this as too many hidden payments. The room we had was right next to reception and far too loud so slept late and rather badly. In addition to this, the events that went on at night were too late. Things would begin at 10 p.m. and finish around 2 a.m. I know it is a place long the end of the strip but we need to go to sleep sometimes and because we stayed too close to where everything was held, it was not comfortable or quiet. Half-board breakfast is dire, not enough fruit or any yoghurt and bread. No eggs and if you want a bigger breakfast you have to pay for this. There are hidden costs everywhere. beds by the pool are uncomfortable too. The food is far too British and not authentic enough in my opinion if you want burgers and chips you'll do well here, but the variety of food isn't the best. Most of the staff here are amazing and make themselves known to you, they do a lot to keep the place up and running.

This is honestly the best place me and my fiancée have stayed at, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were looked after, when you arrive the manager tells you "welcome to the family" and you really feel part of the morfeas family, what can I say about the staff really, they are absolutely amazing and no words can describe just how much they do for you, when they say "any issues you have let us know and we'll deal with it" they really do deal with it, i had a couple of issues during my stay however they were dealt with quite swiftly upon my reporting of said issues(i won't go into details because it was resolved so no point) on a final note, the manager Akis, Michael, Joy and the rest of the team made this an enjoyable fortnight for me and my fiancée to stay at this fine establishment, we will hopefully return soon, so if you're looking for a great stay in Kavos look no further this is the one! Our Kavos trip is no more! But what an amazing time we had from start to finish and a special shout-out to everyone we met along the way… If you’re booked in with Morfeas Hotel Kavos , then you’re in for a treat. Number 1 hotel in Kavos and rightfully so!! I can see why people return every year. Rooms are clean and basic. Breakfast isn’t t anything amazing but evening meals were gorgeous. Maids are so friendly every morning and leave room fresh and clean. Greek night, cheeky quiz and bingo are a must :) The staff go above and beyond. Akis, Joy, Michael, Prince, Konstantina, Makis and Luka just to name a few. Thank you EVERYONE for everything, all of your hard work never went unnoticed! 🩵✨☀️

Staff here are absolutely top notch, everything is very intimate and the staff are tight knit and well got. Rooms are basic with little amenities, €50 for AC for the week which i think is reasonable, a €20 deposit is required for the TV remote and a small service charge of 50c a day. Food and drink is cheap but good quality and presented with a smile. DJ Prince is excellent, full of energy and very exciting, plays to the crowd depending on time of season etc. We came in September so the place was riddled with wasps, cant enjoy a meal or a drink without them swarming you, little anyone can do about it but i am petrified of wasps and thankfully was only stung twice. Housekeeping only gives fresh towels bi-daily which can be an issue for some id imagine. Deserves more than 3 stars for staff alone. Again end of season so crowd was thin but still a good atmosphere in the hotel. If i was ever to come back it wouldnt be in September but i do not have enough superlatives for the people of Morfeas Hotel.
