Just got back from our girls holiday at quayside and had a great time! There was a large group of us and the rooms, pool area and location were ideal and definitely worth the money. Also the atmosphere by the pool everyday was great and the drinks were reasonably priced. However, the women bar staff by the pool had absolutely dire customer service, in particular the girl named Sadie was extremely rude to our group and left us in shock at how poorly she treated us. For me this was the only negative part of our holiday, I’m not usually one to leave a review or complain however we were honestly disgusted by how rude she was I thought the hotel management should know as it needs addressing. The male bar staff by the pool couldn’t of been any nicer to us by the way, they were very kind and friendly all week!!

Also when booking on booking.com it says air-conditioning is included however it is not as there is an additional daily charge. The hotel also does not inform you before you arrive that they want a €50 deposit per person for the room!!

Me and my friends would return to this hotel as the rooms were to a decent standard for the price and we had lots of fun by the pool everyday, but management need to teach certain staff basic customer service skills and manners.

Me and my friends went as a group of 4
The location was absolutely perfect- Right on strip and atmosphere at Quayside was always unreal especially at pool parties. We never had any bother getting sunbeds.
Drinks were usually 2 for 5 euro and food was basic enough.
We had two rooms, One was spacious enough very basic, get what you pay for I suppose. Our friends air con didn’t work for the first 2 days but was fixed by reception staff. The aircon is taken out of a 50 euro deposit per person that you pay when you first check in. For the week it works out at 40 euro for the week per room. The aircon is 10% needed but we all found ourselves quite sick when we got home because of it. The shower was probably the worst shower i’ve ever been but we had to deal with it. Our room was actually across the road about 5 minute walk from pool which was annoying as there is loads of rooms at the main hotel.
One of our friends had a nose bleed in the room and got blood on the bedsheets and they used the money for the deposit to pay for it.

Room Tip: Pool parties are free to anyone in kavos, the aircon is taken from a deposit but it’s needed

Just back from a girls trip to Kavos and we stayed at Quayside! We absolutely loved the hotel!!! The staff were all so friendly on reception and the cleaners were so lovely. The bar staff were absolutely class, always chatting away and had such class banter. The DJs were the best! Always having a laugh and getting everyone involved. The events Quayside put on are fab! We loved all the pool parties especially baywatch and champagne and we actually had a booth for both and it was such a good vibe! The pool games are a lot of fun so get involved. They put on drink offers all the time so usually at least for a good chunk of the day you can get 2 cocktails for €5 and at night between 9-10 you can go down and pay €10 for an hour free bar. The snack bar is nice, food is always fresh. The bar is 24/7 so always an atmosphere and vibe around and the pre parties at Quayside are the best! Rooms are basic but have everything you need beds, dressing table, wardrobe, kettle, fridge etc. I would highly recommend getting the air conditioning, it is €60 euros odd for the week but you will not regret it and it can be taken out of your €50 per person room deposit. I would come back to this hotel in a heartbeat! We had the best time!

As someone who came to this hotel with not much to go off I'm going to leave an honest review of my experiences. To begin you need to be realise that this is one of the cheapest available in Kavos and it reflects that. If you just need a place to sleep for a few hours before going off adventuring or partying then this place is perfect. This is why I have given it 3 out of 5.

The room was cleaned every day but the towels and bed sheets still had spots of blood etc on them. Bring your own. You have to pay for air conditioning but it is very effective, sometimes making the room feel like the arctic if put on too low. The rooms don't have updated sewage systems so don't flush toilet roll.

Staff were extremely friendly and tried their best to make the holiday enjoyable.

The pool is okay with plenty of sun loungers and the bar sells decent food and drink for the price. The parties the hotel themselves throw are very good and might even tempt you away from the clubs on the strip. They offer all you can drink cocktails for an hour for 12 euros which is great for pre drinking.

You're a close walk from lots of small shops, amazing food spots and nightclubs. (Highly recommend desperados, the gyros from kebab house).

Oh and don't forget insect repellent!

This hotel is great for party holidays.. HOWEVER, I really advise to stay at a nice hotel because you can literally walk into the hotel when the parties are happening. We would see loads of people from other hotels there when parties were happening. The place reeks of eggs and sewage, we all came back with loads of flee bites which we are guessing are from the sheets, the cleaners don’t clean rooms daily, we had dirty towels for a week. Not sure what they put in the sea but it stinks of eggs. The hotel staff are very rude and so unhelpful, the bar staff are lovely though. Obviously it’s noisy and busy but that was expected. The pool is absolutely vile, full of floating bodily fluids, beds are so hard, there’s no water pressure and have to hold the shower head. We got party hard wristbands.. the reps were so nice and highly recommend getting them, don’t need to stay at quayside to do that though.

Absolute dive. Rooms are rotten and got cleaned twice a week and when we got there the balcony door was broke and never locked the full week. upon arrival we were greeted with a massive turd in the toilet? towels were faded brown when we got them but we’re charged €65 - clearly the hotel doesn’t pay €32.50 a towel. pools brown as well and has cum floating about in it. don’t stay unless u have extremely low standards. other than that not bad would stay again

Started out rather scary, guy on reception wasn’t the friendliest of fellas and after we had the keys to our room we never saw him again, all other staff members and barmen were very friendly. Be prepared to pay 50 euro per person deposit for damages upon arrival.

The rooms were clean but basic, however did the job. Don’t expect luxury but perfect as a base and place to sleep. Wasn’t too loud at night as other reviews have said. The view from our balcony was fantastic over the sea.

In the day. Shoutout to the DJ who played brilliant music all day and night and really made the holiday lively and fun. The pool party was great fun and if your a massive fan of techno/house you’ll love the vibe here. The 10 euro free bar after 9pm was a great way to get pretty smashed before heading out to the busy strip. Future nightclub was definitely the place to go. If you want a chilled night head over to the black and white bar which is directly next door to the hotel, the staff there were fantastic and drinks reasonably priced.

The only negative was that the pool seemed quite dirty and cloudy and the shower head was abit poor and not very powerful.

Apart from that a perfect lads holiday for 7 of us. We will definitely be returning in the future.

P.S we all got some.

€50 euros per person per room, for damages, are you freaking joking. The balcony looked out to an old hotel with a pool that's left with stagnant water. The storm doors MISSING the starts to room are step and slippery. Which would not be an issue if it had a handrail. The toilet where to start?? The shower curtain Was hanging off the door had a stain which is either $hi£ or sick still visible. The fact there is no window ment you had a mosquito net. Well you should have but the was missing.
Then you have an access area to the roof, that was missing the lock so anyone could have claimed up feel and would have suffered life changing issues or death.
The room had black mould, it's not been cleaned in god knows how long. We looked the front door but our friend was still able to open it a 4am.
There where bare wires that a drunk young one will lightly come home drunk and fall against it.

We finally got 2 rooms swapped for slightly better room. But where left with towels short a table with no chairs a cupboard with 2 cups 1 glass and for 2 days zero hot water.

I have much more but are currently going down the legal route with Jet2.
No reps on sit to report the broken tiles that nearly took the top of my toe off.

This place should never be open to young ones. Kavos it's self is ok. But currently 50 yards worth of pathways to walk on sounds like I'm moaning. Well when a silver BMW 5 series nearly hits you or kills a young one then sorry but it is an issue.

If your kids or someone you know is going tell them to cancel as plenty party towns that are better safer and looked after.

If I could give this s££te hole zero I would.

Jet2 are a joke for selling holidays to this place

Quayside is located on the strip but blocks of rooms are located down the road which is where I stayed. Thankfully for me, this meant I was in a quieter part. Being very close to the restaurants, bars and shops made my stay convenient.

Upon arrival you will pay EUR50 each and a cost for air con if you choose to have it (you need it!) which can come out of the deposit money. The room was extremely basic. We had a kettle (others didn't), a hob with no pans, no cutlery, no plates, no cups. For self catering you would assume you would be provided with basics. The bathroom was tiny with a shower that had no curtain so water went everywhere. Toilet would not flush properly meaning each time the shower head would be pointed inside to help the flush. Kitchen hot tap didn't work. Bring your own hand soap. Beds are very uncomfortable, it was like sleeping on springs with a sheet over the top and we found fake eyelashes and contact lenses from previous guests. We also shared a balcony with next door which was slightly uncomfortable at times as they did not want to interact with us.

I found the staff to be okay, nothing outstanding but friendly enough. The pool bar is open constantly and drinks are EUR5 each. I didn't want to swim in the pool as it looked a bit murky but plenty of people enjoying. Loads of friendly guests around too.

We are an older couple (40’s) we booked a few child free days away very last min. This was the cheapest thing that came up. We looked at the reviews after booking and were really worried.
HOWEVER,
We were shown to our room by a nice lady on reception, it’s very basic but what do you need we never spent any time in there other than to shower & sleep. Room IS clean, cleaners come in everyday too and make your bed empty rubbish etc. plug hole looks manky in shower but didn’t let it bother me.
As for the reviews about the pool being filthy, it’s crystal clear and clean every morning, as the day goes on especially with a pool party going on it’s not that great looking but what can you expect with so many people in it.
Can’t complain about anything
