We only ate here on two occasions. The welcome was friendly. The food was excellent, plentiful and very good value. If the quality of the food is a reflection of the hotel as a whole then it must be good.

Five wonderful nights of comfortable beds and rooms and fantastic food. Best wishes to June and Harvey and their staff, especially the young waitresses who served us always with a smile. Excellent. We were a party of four friends aged between 72 and 82

Thank you to June and Harvey and the rest of their friendly & helpful staff who looked after us so well. The food was amazing - we will remember Harvey's beautiful and delicious fish pie forever, but all the meals were tasty (and large portions too). We will definitely recommend this to others.

Having struggled to find accommodation all trip we were a bit concerned to find a hotel with ten beds still available. We should not have worried the welcome warm the food good and nobody could have tried harder to help us on our trip. Great me good wine and beer and a screening of whisky galore - great

My wife and I recently had dinner at the Temple View Hotel. We booked our space in mid afternoon and were told the dining area was full but they would seat us in their sun room so we agreed. When we arrived we were taken to a rather small table in the sun room but the view over the fields...

I am so glad I found this little charm of a spot for dinner on North Uist. It has a cozy dining area with good home cooked meals. I am so glad I found this spot, for there are only a few places to really get dinner on North Uist. Very comfortable and I would recommend.

We had a nice meal and the staff were pleasant. However a couple of things disappointed. First the wines by the glass were pretty ordinary, and not inexpensive. I complained about one, but that elicited no helpful response. Second, the food was expensive for what was essentially pub food. To present a balanced view, we had the seafood platter to...

My partner and I visited for dinner. The venue is an old house in Carinish, North Uist, skillfully modernised and tastefully decorated. Service was polite and we were shown to our table promptly. Starters were tasty if a little on the small side. Mains took a long time to arrive - 50 minutes - and sadly did not live up...

Visited the Hotel twice for Dinner. Very friendly and welcoming staff, just a wee bit lack of service on the second night, kept standing and waiting with no proper acknowledgement but to be fair they were awaiting a large party. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Would recommend highly.
